THIS FUCKING SHOW OMG
Let me start by telling you, Iv'e seen my fair share of comedy anime from the satirical take of fantasy genre's like Konosuba, to the Slap stick comedies that is daily life of highschool boys. After watching watching TDLHB i thought there isnt anything funnier than this, im sure, But then i came across mitsudomoe.
okay so right of the bat people looking at the synopsis are gonna think its some moe blob shit with a light hearted tale about these 3 triplets and their teacher. Well its not
This anime is like the southpark of american television. It has no shame in talking
...
about panties, and bra's and straight forward sex jokes in the open without making it weird for the viewers. So if u like that sorta shit, this is for you
Story: 7/10
Its slice of life and comedy, although more comedy than slice of life, but what are you gonna expect. The plot itself is pretty basic, 3 crazy ass triplets in a class full of crazy ass people with a teacher. standard stuff
Art: 7/10
I really dont get why people hate on the art so much, its usually because of the type of art style, I think this type of art style perfectly suited the show. The animation was just as it should be to fit the basic comedy elements in it, but nothing too out of the ordinary. Those facial expressions tho
Sound 7/10
I did particularly like the ost for this series even though they were basic comedic ones. AND THAT 2ND OPENING OMG, its legit in my top ops ever.
Character 10/10
And damn do i like these characters. Mitsudomoe is primarily on how the characters act with one another in different situations. They've all build unique relationships with each other so it makes it seem like you know them personally sometimes.
So 1stly we have the triplets, Futoba, Hitoba and Mitsuba, all pretty likable with their own flaws.
Futaba is the swwt naive one who has a HUGE interest in boobs and is oblivious to how taboo it really it. Shes physically strong and breaks alot of things
Mitsuba is a sadistic fuck who eats alot and puts on weight. But when it counts she comes through and shows that she has emotions.
And then theres Hitoba my literal favourite. I adore her relationship with the teacher Yabechi sensei, as their moments are my favourite in the show. I regret to say that there arent too many of them, but when there are, its down right the funniest thing. Hitoba at 1st glance looks like the quiet shy book worm, but her books to peoples surprise are ecchi magazines and she has this super creepy face when shes pissed so people dont get close to her
All the other characters are pretty standard, the occult freak, the sass mcqueen, the hopeless romantic. Seeing them interact in different circumstances is what the highlight of this show it.
Enjoyment 10/10
I usually dont put series into my top favorites as im very critical about them, and my favourite shows usually just stems from the ones i watched long ago, so its difficult to find anything close. But Mitsudomoe now has a special place in my hear. Not one episode went by where i lmao'd on the fucking floor, it legitimate hurt. Now im not saying everyone should laugh, but I really doubt there wont be moments where you at least chuckle
Comedy 10/10
Now obviously the best part of this series is the comedy. Yabechi's hopeless single life as a virgin, Kotoba's obsession with boobs, the occult freak, the mauriu's dad who gets arrested every time bc he looks shady af, the dumbass nurse, the fact that everyone almost bleeds to dead whenever they get injured. Its all part of the package. The jokes arent predictable, they slowly take you through it and surprise you with a twist. Most of the comedy here although comes form misunderstandings, some repetitive but some just downright unique and hilarious.
Overall 10/10
Mitsudomoe is the stupidest most random best thing ive ever discovered this year, and Im so glad I did. I finished 2 seasons in one day and Now i dont know what to do with my life. I desperately tried to find shows which are similar but had no luck. I hope in the future we get comedy golds as this show and it bring as much happiness to others as it did for me
If you love your comedy anime, and even if you dont, I desperatly urge you to watch this series. It pains me to see that its not as high up as shows like Nichijou (Although personally i like mitsudomoe better oops)

Wow! what a season!. Honestly i was even more surprised when they brought back the same plot, concept, characters, blood sucking intent and misogyny in season 2.
Story 10/10
How can i even begin, i have no words. I love how they carried out the same plot all the viewers hated the most and stayed true to its premise of a girl getting sucked on every 4 seconds by 9 guys multiple times an episode, and thats about it. Yeah that's about it, its simple, concise, and you'll most likely relate to how yui feels as you;re gonna get several headaches and concussions hitting your
...
head against a wall.
Art 10/10
the art stayed consistent within both seasons, un generic, colorful and pretty and vibrant. Not to mention the hair that apparently defies all concept of physics
Sound 10/10
Honestly i can get enough of that same piano ost in the background playing in all scenes. And not to mention the amazing Op's and ED's which have nothing to do with the show. Also slurping noises 10/10
Character 10/10
FINALLY my favourite part. Just as you thought ur inner masochistic self couldn't come out any faster. All the guys are are charming, and not hypocritical at all. I love when they talk about how horrible they feel for the main heroine that she's being tortured upon and then proceed by force drinking her blood like 2 seconds later. If you like your sadistic, psychotic and trashy harem sausage party, then this is the show for you. The main heroine Yui is probably my favourite. Just like you may know, I love my useless protagonists. Especially when they make no development throughout the entire show! like honestly, youd think when your're being dragged, pushed, sucked, tortured and so on, youd have the common courtesy to try and run away right! Nope. Top quality traits right here people. Just stand still while yelling "please stop" repeatedly should do the trick. God I love her
Enjoyment 10/10
And boy was this enjoyable. I love how the shock value even disappeared. Before even proceeding to the next episode, I could tell that Yui would most likely be sucked on for blood by at least 5 of the guys in her neck, chest, leg, arm, stomach, feet ect. I love the thrill and buildup of when Yui decides to go back to communicating with the vampires even after knowing the risks and doing absolutely nothing about it and acting shocked when they decided to torture her. Absolutely magnificent.
Overall 10/10
This has ot be my favourite show of all time like honestly can you blame it. generic and repetitive story, bland and useless characters, 1 song to theme the whole thing, inner rage about why the main protagonist is so damn stupid, its all part of the package!
i cant believe theres a dub -------_____________________---------

Watamote or "its ur guy's fault im not popular" can sometimes be deemed as one of the most relatable series to have come out of the anime industry. Especially the particular character Tomoko. Shes nevertheless a complete mess when it comes to social interactions, deals badly with conflict and cant form proper relationships with people without messing up. Many criticize tomoko for doing the things she does. This is because they label her as an "introvert" and leave it as that. Its implied that introverts would never mess up with the situations tomoko are in because they would not get in them in the 1st
...
place. But people dont realize that Tomoko is far from being JUST an introvert. Through each episode we grasp bits of tomoko's personality and it can be safe to infer that she has serious social anxiety which is a disorder to be clear. She is even unable to properly speak to people without running away and puking it out later. This is not normal introvert behavior. Another misconception id liek to get out of the way is tomoko's lack of development. Clearly at the end of the series she hasn't changed at all. At least popularity wise. But she has changed ehr mindset about life in general, and this is a key point many dismiss. Tomoko through the end of the series states " it doesnt really matter" which couldnt be more true. She realizes that highschool is just a temporary phase and the whole social status within are as irrelavant as highschool itself. She accepts the way she is, her hobbies and intrests and the way she lives in contrast to the beggining of the series, where she would constantly change her personality and perfrom silly antics to ahive her goals.
Story 8/10
The story is pretty basic itself, high school girl in high school, going on about life in a cringe yet hilarious fashion
Characters 10/10
Tomoko in general interests me alot, not because i particular relate in her extent. I dont stutter after every word i say and can normally adress people regardless of the lack of friends or whatever. I do enjoy gaming, stay inside most of the time, and dont have as much social interactions. But Tomoko's silly antics to become a popular girl, get a boyfriend and so on results in hilarious yet lowkey pitiful moments which keep me watching
Animation 8/10
The animation quality is pretty high, despite the at stile being pretty basic
Sound 7/10
Not many of the soundtracks pop out except for the opening, and different endings each time, as well as the melancholy ost's of Tomoko;s failures.
Overall 9/10
I really don't know why but i find myself always going back to this series when im just bored and i still find myself laughing or relating or feeling for tomoko despite the fact that I already know what will happen
Das about it, If u like watching a casual show about a social distressed girl going about her life, with pretty funny moments this is a show for you.
I dont say this often but the dub is pretty good *dont shoot me

A comedic drama packed with supernatural elements can make a heck of an anime which surely sounds awesome. And it its!. Charlotte is a 13 episode series portraying the lives of 4 high school kids and their own unique supernatural abilities. Now lets get to the parts I enjoyed.
Well starting off with the fact that the music and concept was written by Jun Maeda (ma all time fav) so you know its gonna be freaking awesome, And I certainly wasn't disappointed. Personally i don't feel as if Charlotte was one of his best works but I definitely didn't regret giving it a try, and you
...
should too if your ever feeling bored, or in mood of a hilarious comedy series. The animation quality is superb and I'm quite impressed to how much its improving. The sound as i mentioned, composed by none other than the holy Jun Maeda was extraordinary. ( damn that opening and ending) The soundtracks perfectly fit with the mood and situation of the event that was taken place. Now for the story. I thoroughly enjoyed what the series had to offer plot wise and gave an interesting outlook on supernatural beings... to an extent. I feel as if the same impact didn't stay consistent throughout the series and lost its spark halfway. It was definitely rushed towards the end of the show and wasn't able to keep me as interested as I hoped. Regardless, I wont mention any spoilers, and you should check it out for yourself.
Finally the characters were probably one of my favorite aspects of this series as each had its unique individual characteristic fitting into the story. My favorite out of all was probably Tomori Nao as her independence really struck a cord to me. ( her sarcasm dou)
As goes for the other characters such as Yuu Otosaka, This particular character had immense character development but tbh, his narcissistic and rude approach is what made this series so damn funny.
Jōjirō Takajō ( omg this dude is my life)
Ayumi Otosaka ( Probably my favorite little sister in any show)
Anyway, that's all for this review, i definitely recommend at least the 1st half of this series to those who just like a good laugh and even some drama compacted to it. Luckily this series just ended today, so you'll be able to watch it without any problems ^___^ ( really hope Jun continues his work of awesomeness)
Enjoy

Heads up, if you think this anime is about happy people living happy lives and sunshine and fairy tales, and everything will be "daijoubu" you are talking about a different series my friend. Personally, this series is one of the darkest, emotional roller coasters I've seen in a long time, and if you plan on watching it, then i wish you best of luck. Clannad is a family themed anime (clannad means family in Irish) depicting the harsh realities of adult life. Clannad afterstory is quite literal in its meaning, as it takes place right after the 1st season. Clannad following the relationship between Tomoya
...
and Nagisa and they develop their relationship together and deal with one anothers individual problems. The 1st few episodes (first 8 episodes) are kinda rocky. They don't fit in with the story well and it pretty much useless. If it intended to make me cry, I didn't. Despite those few episodes, the real Niagara falls start after episode 9. Just watch to find out.
things i prefer in clannad afterstory over clannad
- The characters
There is HUGE character development throughout the series, especially with our main female protagonist, Nagisa Furukawa ( who is my personal waifu ^-^) During the 1st season, I liked her alot, but her character didn't seem strong enough to notice (not meant physically) even though she was sweet, kind and nurturing, she really started to blossom during the second season and she became my all time favorite female anime character. She was supportive, determined, a complete darling btw, and a full fledged well developed character who I was mentally attacked to. And that's what I loved about this series. It really got me attacked to Nagisa and the other characters since it provided us with character development, gave us a backstory, let us know them personally and were just down right lovable people. It was mind blowing. Go Nagisa! may you live on.
And same goes for for everyone else but their kinda pushed to the sidelines during clannad afterstory as it is solely focused on Nagisa's and Tomoya's journey.
- The animation
The animation is top notch in the second season (go Kyoto animation!) As this is expected since it was aired 2010 and had time to develop its animation. But still superb. My favorite scenes were probably ones from the illusionary world and is deemed to have been one of the most beautify illustrated animations.
- sound
Words cannot describe the audio's played during this entire series, (tbh nothing really changes sound wise in the 1st or second season, but its still amazeballs) The sound track played during some of the emotional scenes is one of the best I've ever heard and really emphasized the current situation. The audio track is probably the second best feature about this series and people have to check it out ( go JUN MAEDA!, you are quite literally a genius)
- The story
just check the series out, I wont spill too much
- The romance
My favorite couple tbh, the depth to which this show goes to with their relationship is mind blowing and i really appreciate it. Tomoya x Nagisa 4lyfe
Okay now lets get to the ending without giving away any spoilers ( ik its impossible but i'l try)
Some say it was quite unsatisfactory as it stuck to its visual novel routes with the alternative ending and should've not strayed from its path but i found it to be quite admirable. Just go check the series out and state your opinions.
Any way to end this enormous review I just have to point out that this series is a life changing one and is one of the few master pieces i have seen in a long time. Be warned, if you star this show, by the end you finish it, you will get hooked, get withdrawal symptoms, not be able to get over those desires to start the show all over again for the 100th time and repeat.
Clannad afterstory will tear your heart and rip out your soul.
enjoy!
