[Oshi no Ko] is one of the most unique and creative manga series I have ever read. The author, Akasaka Aka, has done a fantastic job of creating both an intriguing thriller and an in-depth look at the Japanese entertainment industry. Almost all of the main cast is well-written and likable. The plot grips you from the start and never lets go. Also, it would be a crime not to mention Yokoyari Mengo's incredible drawing skills that bring the manga to life.

But with all the gushing out of the way, I have to say that the last couple of volumes were somewhat of a letdown—especially ...

Mixed Feelings
From reading the LN's I can say that, Goblin Slayer has pretty interesting world building and lore. Like how none of the characters has actual names. Or the whole goblin slyer thing is kind of a background plot of the Hero's story. It has decent character work and pretty good actions. But unfortunately none of these can be found in this lackluster season.

This was in no way a bad season but just a very boring one. The plot didn't seem to advance much. And the few interesting storylines like the one about new recruits didn't quite land well.

Well to tell the truth the main plot is pretty straightforward there is a guy named Goblin slayer who kills Goblins as his name suggests. And that's basically it! But don't just give up on this yet because what it lacks in plotline it makes up for it by its visually pleasing art and fight scenes. I think plotwise it can be compared to one punch man.

Goblin Slayer has a very typical fantasy world setting with magic, swords, adventurers and monsters. Goblins are the lowest class monsters thus normally people underestimates as small fries. But ...
