This is one of the worst mangas I have personally every read.
Everything is just so low quality I have absloutly no idea where to start.
Let's start with the story, boy sits to a girl that has rumors around her being "dangerous". throughout the entire story, we never see anything that warrants the "dangerous" label, you might say that the characters are being unjust towards her just like in any bullying/singling out trope, but we see absolutely zero reason for her to be left out in the class, this is a sign of weak writing. The author didn't portray in this state inside the class
...
because of anything that happened in the past, it's just a shameless plot device for the author to let the main character feast on her alone.
Nothing in this manga will ever interests you, thankfully there aren't many chapters so far so I didn't have to suffer for that long, everything is so typical. Every overused trope in romance Manga is being relentlessly displayed here non stop, at one point, if you have read five or more romance mangas, you will be able to accurately predict what gonna happen in the next page.
There is no actual story to be invested in either, it's your sterotypical loner bozo Mc who the busty Mc slowly falls for, for simply existing.
There is nothing redeeming about this Manga, the art is one of the most mideocre and oversimplified mangas I have personally ever looked at. Nothing has any kind of detail at all. all the characters have 3-4 face expressions that are so recycled that I'm confident I can draw them from memory alone. If there is any effort put from the person drawing the manga, that would be him drawing the main heroine just so he can sexually appeal her, obviously he knew the plot wouldn't get him anywhere so he decided to out some effort into the girls fat breasts. Oh wait don't get me wrong, she actually doesn't look any good or any detailed at all, it's just, in comparison to the rest of the cast, she seems decently drawn.
One of the reasons I really despise reading manhwas is how lifeless everything displayed looks, from character expressions to backgrounds to the non-existing details. This Manga's art in particular was so undetailed that I double checked on whether I was reading a manhwa or not, the art is just that lacking.
As for the characters. The most lifeless overly clichéd characters I've seen. Loser Mc with no friends to exist happens to be next loser heroine with 1 friend only (waow). Heroine is wierd and busty and she becomes interested in the MC the moments he spouts half a word in her face.

Is this all it takes?
My only question is that, can the author try something new? I've never seen a narrower imagination, I simply cannot fathom how can you be this lazy as an author, let's put every single garbage aspect of this show aside, and talk about the events only.
First big arc of kimetsu no yaiba, demon slayers running after the supposedly moon-thingy demon, they kill him but... Wait... It actually wasn't him!!! He wasn't the main villan of this arc.. Damn, never saw that one coming.
OK second big arc, demon corps fighting main villan of this arc and
...
let's Fucking GOOOOOO they murdered him, oh really? You're telling me he wasn't the main villan of this arc again? Dammit, the author can't possibly use this lazy ass scenario again, right? right? RIGHT?
*WRONG*
three arcs in a row, and im yet to see anything new. All the fight scenes look exactly the same, sometimes I feel like I'm staring into a void whilst looking at my screen during the fight scenes, it's to the point where I feel like they:re reusing old animations, I honestly wish they were, because it's not worth the sweat of the talented people working on this poop.
I wish the author displayed any sort of imagination, it's almost like she doesn't actually need any imagination to succeed.
Every single arc is the same thing, demon chads kill a demon, the demon "unexpectedly" loses, then they proceed to show us some melodramatic garbage that no human being could ever sympthize with past the first one, because, every single time, the demons back story is EXACTLY THE SAME.
I wish the events or the writing were my most hated things about this show. the writing sometimes doesn't look like complete garbage in comparison with the characters here, every single character of this show is literally a one personality trait, MC is the kind, the yellow haired is the pussy, and the boar is the crazy, both the hashiras we've extensively interacted with so far are the perfect charismatic role models.
I just can't with this show, I hate nagging but godam this is garbage.
I honestly feel very generous just for giving this hot trash a "2"

Right through the manga elitists I come, to make a bold claim. This is ALOT more enjoyable than the manga.
This is a good example of a mediocre yet appealing story that it's anime adaptation makes it GOOD!
A good adaptation is determined by whether or not it elevates it's source material and that is determined solely by the experience and as long as not so important and no so much material is cut.
My complaints are mostly about the story and the characters so as you can tell they are complaints that would be written on a manga review but
...
I'm here to compliment the anime adaptation.
It's pretty frustrating seeing manga elitists review bomb yet another anime simply because they are very uninformed or because they set their expectations unrealistically high. For instance the "most helpful" review compares shuumatsu no valkyrie to the second season of "TPN" and "the way of the house husband". The first thought that' came to mind is that this "person" doesn't even realize what made TPN2 this bad.. So I came to the conclusion that this "person" either didn't watch TPN2 and just heard of the tremendous hate it recieved OR he just wanted another example to throw in for his "review" so he threw one of the most hated shows in recent times that came to his mind OR he is referring to shuumatsu no valkyrie being as bad as TPN2 general which is a criminal claim. Him making such claim shows how oblivious and uneducated some people on this website are. I wanted to talk about his comparison to house husband but I already wrote alot about TPN2 so I Will stop here.
About the people in the reviews and the community posts complaining about the adaptation being "bad". They are all calling the same thing which is "haha power point haha" "slideshow haha" its as if they have a script infront of them and they feel inclined to copy paste it here on Mal.
OK the review.
Story:
Exciting and interesting story, however so very lazy. I understand this show is not about its great story or anything but I'm still gonna say it outloud. The story is shit and it feels like a story that the author gave at most 5 minutes of thinking. Not that it's bad or anything. But when put next to an actual good story I just cant say it's any good. This is a story that is supposed to be enjoyed through its action. If you don't find any interest in the action then I don't know how you can find any value in the story. The action in the manga gets tedious, which is one of the reasons I dropped it long ago. However the anime adaptation somehow surpassed my expections. On how good of a job they were able to deliver the action scnens with mostly still images.
Art:
The art is obviously fantastic. Props for the studio for maintaining the art the manga has.
Animation :
This is what everyone is complaining about. But simply those who are complaining don't realise its dam near impossible to animate such detailed models. Some propesed the idea of of redesigning the models to cut alot of the detail and compensate with better animation however I disagree because this extremely detailed art is part of the story's identity. And in my opinion it would have lost so much of it with cutting the heavliy cutting the details. Another solution would be doing the kengan ashura approach where almost everything is done via CGI which I thought would have been the better solution but realistically how many anime studios can actually pull off proper CG? less than 5? I don't think Graphinca would be one of those. And what further supports my thoughts was the hermes music scene right before Adam vs zues fight. Which was almost entirely done using CGI which didn't really look any pleasent to look at.
Sound :
This in my opinion, is the best part about this adaptation. Holy shit everything from music to voice acting is done flawlessly. However I really disliked the OP and ED
Characters:
This is the other part I don't like about this. In short I found the character backstories to be very basic, uncreative and sterile. They are mostly overused from different titles. Except for Sasaki kojiro. Which I really liked.
Enjoyment: what a fun ride this show was. Defenitly would recommend it over the manga and wishing for more from graphinca
Overall: don't listen to the manga elitists and give it a try yourself. If you found the use of stills repulsive then drop it it's not for you. And still even the I don't see why would you Read the manga over this. As a manga reader I found this to be a very nice adaptation

MAKE WAY TO THE WORST ANIME OF SPRING 2021
im genuinely impressed on how season 2 managed to be so much worse than the abomination that is season 1, in all honesty I really think giving this season a medal wouldnt do it justice just for that alone. oh well what a waste of time this was.
...
story:
everything is so very predictable its bothering. the events are copy paste from past events but in a different setting. every event goes as follows: diablo meets stacked waifu, she falls for him the moment she sees him because why not, she is facing a issue, diablo helps her becasue why not , arc concluded. reapeat .
the action holds no weight, again because its always awfully the same. every actions scene literally goes as follows, diablo faces a seemingly very powerful foe . that enemy suprises diablo with his immense strength...diablo is about to lose, diablo yells a bunch of random words (sometimes with his harem) which resemble a spell. boom enemy loses, everyone praises diablo.
the story itself is not as bad as the events (its your typical isekai fantasy harem ecchi op MC). but the execution itself is very tiring. nothing is intreseting since you exactly know how is it gonna. im saying this is worse than season 1 even though season 1 is fucking terrible. its because season 1 was the introduction so you might give it a pass since its introducing the world, characters , rules , powers ..etc.. but season 2 just took the events of season 1, wrapped them in a different package, and used them.
The "humor" in this show is something else completely. Diablo has been repeating the same "joke" for 22 episodes now. Aside from Diablo's "jokes" there isnt much "humor" in this (unless you count the ecchi scenes as comedy). Diablo's "jokes" are so pathetic and sad that by the he does it on screen my eyebrows frown by themselves and my eyes get watery as im about to cry from how garbage what im witnessing is ( I swear this happened multiple times!). incase you are wondering what are the "Diablo Jokes" ( I really dont know what else to call them ) it is when he has a monolouge as his old pathetic self about how he should act as a demon lord or his reaction as a demon lord pallareled with his reaction inside his mind.
Art and animation:
art: decent backgrounds, semi-unusual character designs which is a little refreshing but nothing more
animation:
aside from ecchi scenes, the animation is nothing to talk about. eh, atleast its consistently mediocre/decent.
sound:
trash op, I cant listen to the first 10 seconds without getting a headache, the Ed is just as bad, and I dont remember any music used during the episodes which means its also nothing to talk about. the voice acting on the main cast is repellent, I might be biased because how fucking much I hated this show but oh well. I cant really compliment the voice acting at all.
characters:
Im very tired of the main characters, specifically Diablo, shera, lumachina (not so much rem but I dont really like her either)
every single character from the main cast is very one-dimensional
(except for rem maybe), its really bothersome. lets start with Diablo, he is always yelling the same nonsense for example when facing an enemy (im the demon lord from other world or somethingyou dare oppose me ? HA HA HA) or whilst hes talking to his harem if she asks him for help or a favor (Of course im gonna help you , you are my property afterall) this is all he says. the entirety of the 2 seasons. its a shame because I think it would be more enjoyable if he speaks his real mind everynow and then. not just always the diablo persona. it would open the way for some character development and it would give us somehting to look forword to.
shera is just as bad if not even worse. all the time on screen she's either calling for help from diable, shaking her fat oppai pair or seducing Diablo.
Lumachina is just as one-dimensional, she's is faithful and devoted and believes that diablo is god. this is her entire character. and like shera she screems in vain asking diablo to save her, but unlike shera she unintentionally seduces diablo
enjoyment:
I had no enjoyment watching this show. I hope I learn how to drop anime's because such garbage doesnt deserve my time.
overall:
probably the worst show ive seen in the past month or so. there is nothing good I can say about this anime (specifically this season). if you are reading this before watching the second season. Please dont

What a mess!
English is my third language so try to forgive any grammatical mistakes
******WARNING******** THIS REVIEW MIGHT CONTAIN SPOILERS
Joran: The Princess of Snow and Blood started out as a your typical revenge story, Sawa's parents were killed by an unknown person and she seeks revenge from him for that. And the only clue she has about him is the scars (?) on his back that she saw the night her parents were killed.
...
Story:
If I could summarize the story with one word it would be "Mess". Joran seemed like it had 40 different writers, eacgh with a completely different plot in mind, but at the end they settled for 5 or 6 of them, then they decided to stuff all of these convoluted ideas into the show. You realise that by the time you have finished episode 4. If the show ended by episode 4 my score would be significantly higher and I wouldn't be here writing this. The story in itself ended like 3-4 times before its proper "conclusion" which (ironically enough) is way less conclusive than episode 4. Too many things were left unexplained. Entire characters make no sense. All of the fights are same (literally) so you can't even enjoy the overly-cliche'd part of the story, the action sequences are all as follows: Sawa encounters enemy, enemy beats Sawa, saw uses her blood powers, Sawa turns the fight around. They all go the exact same. If you want you can really skip the action scenes because they are the most boring part (which is hilarious to me). By the end of the story half the cast would have the blue sacred bood somehow even though the clan supposedly went extinct long ago (except for Sawa). Characters
Die on screen then it turns out they are alive with no explanation to anything whatsoever, and it happened so many times that death lost its value. When a character dies I just don't know how I'm supposed to feel. I just go like "oh well they will bring him after 2 episodes or something"
Art and animation :
The characters models are unique-ish but oversimplified which is what would you expect from an original anime so it's not really a major complaint for me, however the backgrounds are so ugly!! There is a reason that the backgrounds are dark most of the time (not only to serve the story theme). It is because they are lazy and they lack substance!. They all feel dead as if it is literally a painting drawn by a middle-schooler but had some polishing after-words.
The colors are very trash in my opinion, when you pair oversimplified but unusual character models with the ugly and dark-y and the oil-y and unfitting coloring you will endup feeling a little nauseous at times.
Animation:
The animation is my personal favorite part about Joran. The animation is really nice. Which puts some worth on watching the action scenes. It's true that it does feel EXTREMELY janky at times (especially in non-action character movements). But for some irrelevant anime that nobody talked or will talk about, and had little to no advertisement. The animation is pretty impressive!
Sound : THE OP SLAPS! IT'S VERY GOOD. ONE OF THE BEST THIS SEASON! The acting is also good but gets old really quickly (somehow). The osts are Meh mostly and the Ed is garbage.
Characters:
YikeS, there are no characters here. Only plot devices. Even Sawa herself is a plot device. The characters just do things, either without a motive, or when they have a motive it is an overused motive like (acquiring the blood) or just a questionable motive at best. When the writers want a character to die they just kill it without no buildup by making character act very irrationally and so out-of-character so that they can progress the plot as they please. They introduce a character and after 10 minutes it's killed. The only okay-ish character would be Jin. his motives make sense. His actions were fairly rational. But he was way too clichéd imo but atleast he isn't bad. But he's way way better than Sawa.
Enjoyment:
Up until episode 4 I had a somewhat decent experience however by each episode I kept losing interest. By the last episode I was pretty much forcing myself to look at the screen. The only episode I genuinely enjoyed after ep 4 was the Jin character arc episode (forgot which one was it)
Overall : too many ideas stuffed into a one-cour show resulted in a hot load of garbage

Edit: I have finally watched episode 13 and holy shit it was a ride. It doesn't nearly redeem the rest of the episodes but dam it really is fantastic. I truly believe season 2 can be an entirely different experience and it potentially can redeem this one. Imo they have set up an incredible story-line. I really hope season 2 will actually happen. This is one of the few things Im genuinely worried about it getting a sequel since its an original. In VERY hyped

tl;dr at the bottom
After reading Godzilla Singular point's premise, taking a look at its Myanimelist page, and watching the first 3 episodes I just had way too many things to look forword to.
A collaboration anime that is both made by 2 studios with fairly clean reputation? Great news
Very engaging and an unusual cast? Check
No ecchi tag? YES!
Unique and interesting premise? oh my oh my
Strong presentation? GIVE
Impressive backgrounds?....
Catchy soundtrack?
Good art and animation?
One of the best CGI's I've seen in the anime industry?
Okay I'm hooked
I could list alot more stuff that got me really pumped for this. There simply was no reason for me not to get very hyped for this.
I even praised it and recommend it for my fellow weeb friends and I even claimed that it will be the dark horse of this season. But episode after another this show just drained me.
To put it plainly. This show is very unfun and boring to watch. You get tired very quickly watching it. 70-80% of every single episode is spent on explaining something. They spend most of the time explaining every piece of information thrown at you, whether important or not. They push the unnecessary information down your throat. The first 2-3 episodes were very eventful which deceived me into thinking this anime is something that is actually the complete opposite of it.
It's almost as if the writers thought the viewers wanted an extra course to study! Ha! Even worse. This show is a thousand times more boring than anything I've studied in both college and school. I'm not even kidding.
But wait! This isnt even the worst part about it. Not only that there is nothing but pointless dialouge. But it's also very hard to grasp! When the plot is extremely complicated with that much dialouge, paired with an unorthodox English vocabulary, I find myself on Google translate more often than you think. Since there isn't any official translations offered for this show in my first and second language I have no choice but watch it in my third one.
Godzilla Singular Point requires so much brain power that I really find it hard to watch any other episodes in the same day as I watch it. I swear I'm not even exaggerating!!
Anime is something I watch in my precious limited Leisure time. And it is supposed to be fun! But this show isnt!!!!
I made the mistake of watching godzilla s.p episodes on release, but you don't have to. If you are planning to watch this or if you haven't watched it yet do yourself a favor and skip it. But if you are really curious and interested in it then I'd suggest watching one episode every 20 days or something. I'm not even kidding. In my opinion that would be the best way of consuming godzilla s.p
Incase you are interested in my rating using the Mal review approach/criteria here it is :
Story 7 art and animation 7 sound 6 character 6 enjoyment 1 overall 3
In short : the show took a very incorrect approach. what seemed very intriguing at first glance turned out to be a snore fest.

This review will be covering the entire show not this season alone and since I completed the manga I can give a fair review about the entire thing
English is my third language so try to forgive any grammatical mistakes
Story
The premise is alright. But thats pretty much the only compliment I can give about it.
The story constantly tries its hardest to be "deep" but everything about it is just as flat as megumin's chest. The author is constantly trying to tell us "oh look x person is depressed because x y z" then proceeds to give us a cliche backstory wrapped with all the
...
"zodiac theme" which makes it look different at first glance but upon further inspection (not much you literally need about 5 seconds to realise it) its just always the same as usual but with a different package.
Let me give an example : Alfred is from your average melodrama highschool anime, he is sad and depressed because he was bullied in highschool and that left some suicidal thoughts in him.
Let's talk as if Alfred was in the fruits basket universe: Alfred is sad and depressed because he was bullied from his peers in school because he is a zodiac member
Taddaaa! You have finished writing fruits basket.
Art and animation:
The art is nice and the details are there nothing spectacular by any means. I found it better than 80% of romance Anime's though
The animation is also fine. The facial expressions are on point and they manage to convey the feelings of the characters.
Sound:
The voice acting is one point. But it's the least you'd expect from anime.
The music however is the most forgettable thing in this. It's fitting I guess. But never in my life I will go look up on youtube trying to find a certain ost from fruits basket. Non of the op songs nor the Ed's were any good imo but that's just a matter of taste.
Characters:
For me, this is the worst part about this show.
In short, the characters are very dumb, way too dumb. Non of the characters acts like a normal human being. The characters refuse to communicate like normal people. Instead they just say dumb stuff just to prolonge the story like "now is not the time to talk about this"
Or "I don't think I'm ready" or "when the time comes you will know" but there isn't anything such as "correct time".
I could put a thousand question marks on half the characters actions. You will notice it yourself whilst watching. You will be questioning an event every 5 minutes and then ask yourself:"why is x person is acting like an animal?" then you realize you are watching fruits basket so it's only natural. I don't mind cliche's that much. But when paired with such stupid characters Its extremely hard to enjoy the story.
Fruits basket could have easily been a 2-cour 25 episode series if only the characters were actively trying to solve the issues.
I could go on and on and on about this but I'm just gonna stop here for now.
Enjoyment :
I don't mind cliche's. But not this one. This is garbage. Most of the time I found myself wanting drop this show but it's fanboys hyped this so much that I had to complete it.
Overall:
Dumb characters ruined a cliche Fiesta that otherwise would have been mediocre at best. This show never had any potential. Thankfully I didn't really expect much even with all the hype surrounding it.
