At first I was reluctant whether I should read this manga or not, but in the end I'm glad I did. At first I thought that it would be another boring series but it exceeded my expectations and I found myself drown to it.
STORY
This kind of story is unique and it was a first for me. The best part was the drama which was incredibly. I cried so much while reading and I felt all the emotions and feelings of the characters. At some point I thought that if not cured, the sleeping princess will keep on moving from one generation to another. I could
...
never have predicted what was going happen, especially the ending. I was stunned with it.
ART
The art wasn't something very special. I kind of like almost all types of art so I had no problem with it.
CHARACTERS
At first, I thought that the sleeping princess is like your typical shoujo female lead but it isn't so. She may seem so, but she is not weak. I really liked her and the main lead. They formed such a nice couple even though at the beginning he was kind of a jerk but he had his reasons for acting like that.
ENJOYMENT
I can't say how much I enjoyed it. I cried untill my eyes were all puffy. It is a very touching manga and I highly recommend it.

I don't know if others agree with my opinion but I give this manga a totally 10. Why? Well, because there isn't one thing that I didn't like about it. Everything was just like I wanted and I'm not dissappointed by none of the manga's parts and details.
STORY
At first what appealed me was the story. I love historical/romance/fantasy mangas and this is exactly the manga I've been looking for. For me witches were a new element because I never read mangas about witches or something related to them but even so it really amazed me. The story was great, the scenes weren't just one after
...
another and I never hated or feel annoyed by any of the characters (this is something that never happened before because every manga I've read so far had at least one character which I couldn't stand). ,,A witch in a world without witches'' was the part of the manga that attracted me the most. Skyla was the only witch in a world were witches disappeared and not exactly a powerful one because she didn't have them at the beggining. She starts her journey when she was picked up by an old woman and an alchemist. As the story progresses we find out that the alchemist, Kaylus, wasn't exactly what it seemed at the beggining.
ART
I don't have words to describe how much I loved the art. It's exactly my type of art. There are not many mangas with this kind of art so when I found one I read it several times and I never get bored of it. Every detail of it fascinated me. There were times when I just stopped reading and focused my eyes on the art and WOOW!!! It was astonishing! Others may think that I may exaggerate but this is solely my opinion
CHARACTERS
I don't have a bad thing to say about the characters. They were all on my taste. I even loved the bad characters, so I can't say how much amazed I was by the rest of them. Skyla was my exactly type of character: strong, beautiful, a little naive but she matured during the series, funny and also a little foolish at the beggining (just my opinion). Even so I liked how she doesn't depend on others and she isn't easily manipulated. She didn't listen when others told her what to do and she made her own path. I was tired and sick of those annoying and weak female leads who do everything the other people say. And Kaylus - OMG!!! - I loved that misterious aura of him, it only made him more attractive in my eyes and the way he was sometimes so mean at the beggining with Skyla was great. After I finished the series Kaylus past it remained a little unclear for me but even so I wouldn't change anything. In other words I can't say how fascinated I was by those two, so fascinated that I think I will never forget them.
ENJOYMENT
I totally enjoyed every little part of the manga, even the slightest details. It was one of the best mangas I ever read. I find out about this manga a long time ago but I never tried it until now. I knew from the first chapter that I will enjoy it completely and that's exactly how it was. I strongly recommend it to anyone who likes fantasy/romance/historical/adventure mangas, you will definetely enjoy this...

I enjoyed this manga a lot even though I only read e few chapters of it. I read a lot of this mangaka's works and I enjoyed most of them and while I was looking for another one I stumbled on this one. After I read the summary I really had no idea what to expect, if it's good or bad or even if it's worth giving it a try. After reading some chapters I can sincerely say that it was a lot better than what i had expected at first.
STORY
What surprised me much more than any other manga did was the story. Even so
...
it was a pleasant surprise. My opinion is that the best part of the series is the story. I mean who haven't heard about the famous sultan Suleiman who once ruled over the Ottoman Empire and had a concubine named Hurrem (at first her name was Alexandra) who later became the empress. Even so this manga doesn't follow the original plot (that I think most of us know) exactly as they add new situations for the characters. As I read only the first chapters of the manga I can't say exactly if it will continue like this or if it will develop even more.
ART
I don't have much to say about the art because whether or not you like it is at you own choice. There are people who like this kind of art and there are people who hate it. Personally I really enjoyed it because I love this mangaka's works and I read a lot of them. It is kind of ,,old'' but even so the characters are drawn really carefully and I think that some of the females are beautiful and some of the males are handsome.
CHARACTERS
The characters are really unique, everyone has its story and past. The female lead Alexandra is a girl raised in a small village between two small kingdoms. She was captured for the purpose to be sold and while she was trying to run away she mets a charming dark haired man who she immediately becomes interested in. After talking with him, the man takes her back. She was at the market waiting to be sold when surprinsingly the man who bought her is the same dark haired man from that night when she tried to escape. He took her and gave her teachers who taught her all kind of different things. She was hoping that she would stay by his side forever so imagine how shocked she was when she was told that she will the concubine's sultan of the Ottoman Empire. Even so she accepted her fate easily. She soon learns the ways of the harem and began to make her own road to survive. She annoyed me a little because she liked both the sultan and her savior. She matured during the series and began to become more strong. She isn't weak, forgetful, careless and also she isn't the type to mess around with. She is quite smart and really enjoys studying. About the males I didn't really made an opinion. The sultan is ambitious, strong and has the spirit and charisma of a ruler.
ENJOYMENT
As I said before, at first I was reluctant about this manga but it was a really good adaptation of the life of the sultan Suleiman and his concubine Hurrem. I enjoyed almost everything about it and I think others will feel the same about it. I didn't find many flaws. I really want to end reading it and I recommend this manga to anyone who likes historical and romance stories.

The summary of The Descendant of the Dynasty doesn't describe this manhwa as it should. The first time I ran into this manhwa it didn't spark my interest at all and after a long time, because I had nothing else to read, I decided to give it a try and, to my surprise, it wasn't such a bad manhwa as I expected.
STORY
In my opinion, I think the story is the greatest part of the manhwa. It is set in Egypt, in a ancient time where each country fought in order to be more powerful. The manhwa follows the story of two royal sisters who where
...
separated at a very young age and their country was conquered by Egypt. Each sister has lived her life in different surroundings and they don't recognize each other when they met again after so long.
ART
Personally, I really love this kind of art which is quite unigue. Even though the characters are similar drawn you can't and you don't confuse them. I don't know why but sometimes I just stop reading and look at the clothes, the scenery and the details that, honestly, attract me more than the characters faces which, as I said before, are quite similar.
CHARACTERS
As I continued reading I enjoyed finding more about each of the characters and their past. I really loved the fact that the older sister isn't a typical weak and defenceless main girl which is always rescued by others instead of looking out for herself when actually it is really quite the opposite. She is a proud, beautiful, strong, courageous, arrogant and ambitious woman who always makes herself noticed by the others not only by her astonishing beauty, but also by her extraordinary fighting skills. She is a good queen, who cares about her people and she even risks her life for them. The other main girl is more like the innocent and pure type, but still she doesn't lack the strength to protect herself, is very courageous and, like her sister, she risks her life to save others and she doesn't lose to her in terms of beauty. The other characters have also different personalities but even so I was not as attracted to them as I was to the sisters. As I continued reading I got more and more entangled in the characters and their way of living.
ENJOYMENT
I really enjoyed each chapter of this manhwa that I've read so far. I read a lot of romance manhwa, but not many of them remained for long in my mind and this is one of them which I will not forget very soon. Even though I've read only a few chapters of it I have the confidence that at the time when I will finish reading the series I won't be disappointed at all.

Before I begin I would like to say that i have read this manga many times and I enjoyed it even more after reading it each other time. Saver is my favorite manga so far and I don't think I will ever find one similar to this. I knew from the first chapters that this manga will be one of my favorites.
STORY
The story starts with a beautiful girl named Lena who lives alone with her mother. She meets Hye-Min Kang and they start falling in love with each other. By a twist of fate, she finds out that she and Hye-Min Kang are half-siblings.
...
After her mother is killed she is injured and transported in another place and time where she has a big role to play. I love historical manga and time travels so this manga is exactly what I've been looking for a long time. I enjoyed each chapter of it. I liked that the fact that Lena was a female wasn't revealed at the beginning of the story and that the main guy fell in love with her believing that she is a boy.
ART
At the beginning of the story the art was set in modern times and was pretty good, but then when it was set in the pastand I loved it. The main characters were the most beautiful drawn. I loved the clothes and the backrounds. The art was quite unique which improved even more my opinion about this series.
CHARACTERS
My favorite character is Lena. She hides that she is a woman and calls herself Ley. I personally like strong-willed females who are courageous and fight to protect themselves. That is what I loved the most at her, that she is not a girl that is protected by others and that she rely on her own power to survive. I liked that attitude of hers where she looks like she doesn't care about what happens to the others when is totally the opposite. She doesn't let her true feelings to be noticed, she knows how to control her heart and she doesn't let Lucien to know about her true feelings. The way she leads everybody shows that she is a true leader.
My other favorite character is Lucien Wycelf. What I loved the most about him was the fact that he doesn't let his love for Lena to overwhelm him and to distract him from his people. The fact that he fell in love with Lena believing that she is a guy was great. I think this manga wouldn't be so good if he knew from the beginning the truth about her sex.
The others characters were also good. I would liked to know more about the queen and about 'The Five'.
ENJOYMENT
This manga was a great production. It is the perfect combination of history, romance, drama, action, adventure and fantasy. If you like historical mangas with a little romance you absolutely have to try Saver. It is one of the few mangas out there that, no matter how many times I'll read it I will never be bored.
