In both anime the female lead are pretty much clueless about love and are portraited as strong independent women. In both anime the male leads are in love with the female lead but due to personal reasons cannot convey it to her (except for the fact that the women don't realize that their pretty much crazy about them). With time in both anime they realize their love for them. Both anime have also the same comedy and drawing style.

If you liked Monster add

...then you might like Black Lagoon add

In both animes the protagonist was doing well in their respective field but suddenly everything changes. In Monster, the doctor has a normal life before he saved the life of a young boy. Rock was a salaryman before getting kidnapped by pirates/mercenaries from Black Lagoon. The atmosphere and the story telling in both are that of a much more realistic yet also with more darker/tragic aspects.

If you liked Claymore add

...then you might like Soul Eater add

In both these animes, the protagonist is a female who is hunting demons (or Yoma's in claymore) to keep the world at peace. When Soul Eater goes into the main plot it resembles a lot that of style of Claymore (relatively dark).

If you liked D.Gray-man add

...then you might like Soul Eater add

Both animes deals with battling akuma's to protect the world. In D.Gray Man they use weapons called innocence as in Soul Eater the weapons are actual humans that turns into weapon to slay the demons. The atmosphere of the 2 animes are very similar in the aspect it can get serious or funny depending on the situation in a flash. Both animes have moments where darkness prevails (more like the sensation of darkness).

...then you might like Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch add

In both animes, the story is about a protagonist who is fighting for what the believe in which renders on most part more towards the darker side (more villainous side than most protagonist). In Code Geass, Lelouch is very similar to Light were they side on the dark side but because of the unique stories it binds us to actually support these villainous roles as it is almost a form of justice. Also some psychological/mind games are involved in both animes. Definitely a must watch anime if you loved Death Note.

...then you might like Clannad: After Story add

If you liked Clannad, you will also appreciate Kanon which is also produced by Keys. Both animes are similar in animation style, music, character design and a nice emotional story. The lead male characters in both animes are of similar type, they go out of their way to see the smiles of others (especially people closes to them). So if you liked all he orinal aspect of Clannad you will definitely love Kanon (2006).
