As someone who loved the novel and is now up to date with it, I am seemingly one of the only LN readers that does not hate this season or the anime in general. Why? I'm not sure, maybe it's because I love the original so much that I still am able to enjoy a worse version, just because it's an adaptation and a new way of viewing something that I dearly love. The OP main character trope is one of my favourite and the psychological genre is one of the most original and entertaining in my eyes. A combination of the too is great,

but to have it done in such a way is simply put incredible. Even though I enjoyed the LN more, I can easily say that this season lived up to my hypes. The start seemed flunky but the pacing felt smooth and the cut content they made I in general agreed with. The story is one that is never before seen and the action scenes are really well done. The VA's do a great job and the music is nice to listen to. In my eyes people just want to hate because thay want to hate, since you can't say that this is bad if you are able to understand the story and if the tags that I just mentioned even kind of fall into your lanes. With hype moments, slow moments and good character building this story will always be a favourite of mine!
