Both are about protagonists that are attempting not to stick out in an environment because of how unique they are, at least initially. Additionally, both are gag-heavy, although Mairimashita Iruma-kun leans more on plot that Saiki K. Both protagonists are also powerful without intending to be. Finally, both have amazing characters you will enjoy.

As is typical, both start with the two love interests discovering something about the other, and both are love stories that develop very subtly and beautifully. Additionally, both look at the main love interests in a lot of depth, showing their flaws and their redeeming qualities. Finally, both are fast-moving love stories, so even though, the relationship feels like it is developing rather than stagnating in a slump.
