This story gave me the same emotions as a really good suspenseful horror movie. The tension rises with every chapter. It's a slow-motion car crash that's hard to look away from, and the story delivers on the actual car crash.

It's about a man that has lost his wife to an illness, is treated poorly at work while performing well and receiving recognition for it, has a mentally unstable daughter that has abandonment issues.

In all this misery he meets a classmate of his daughter perchance in a quiet coffee shop he frequents.

The main girl has an abusive mother that is stuck in a terrible relationship ... with a man that dislikes her and cheats on her with another woman so frequently that he's rarely at home.

Both of them see something in each other and thus begins that walk on razor's edge that is a truly uncomfortable relationship.

Nobody in this manga makes the best decisions, but they make decisions that are human. I was uncomfortable the whole way through, but I also couldn't stop reading. I was scared that the main character was going to compromise his morals as a decent human being, but I was also scared that he'd fall into a pit of despair.

I will now spoil if the story has a good ending or not, sometimes that's important for people to decide if they want to read something. Personally, I think you should go on this ride blind.

TLDR: Good concept, terrible execution. Don't waste your time with this.

They take an interesting concept of a girl being unable to communicate with her crush and gaining the ability to turn invisible in order to get closer to him.

Sadly, that is LITERALLY all this does. Chapter after chapter, our 1 dimensional girl that is basically a cookie cuter pretty & smart girl as you have seen them in almost every other manga turns invisible and stalks the protagonist.

Now, here's the extremely wasted twist, he can see her. Does he do anything with this? No. No, he doesn't. He tries to avoid her seeing his dick ... and tries to avoid touching her.

THAT IS IT. That is like 22 chapters of this 23 chapter manga. Boring situation after boring situation where she is close to him. Cliché over-exaggerated body movements to avoid touching her over and over again.

That is really it. One of THE most basic twists you can think of (him losing the ability to see her) happens in the VERY last chapter. Which ends in him FINALLY talking to himself to indirectly communicate with her, something everyone would think to do literal minutes into this situation.

As soon as he does that, EVERYTHING is resolved, manga ends.

An absolute waste of time.

This is a wholesome story about the romance between 2 characters that traditionally would not date each other, mainly because of the height difference.

There are no antagonists, the story is 100% wholesome.

It's a quick read with only 52 chapters that are about 10-12 pages each. Not enough so that the very 1-Dimensional story would get boring.

The characters are all simple but pleasant. You have your calm but emotionally traumatized and physically weak male lead. You have your excited but emotionally traumatized and physically strong male lead. Luckily for our unlikely couple, there are characters around them that want to see them succeed so they ... receive a push from time to time.

There are no romantic rivels or misunderstandings. This is a drama-free zone.

If you want something fast where the girl pursues a more reserved boy, you are at the right place :)

Our MC gets treated unfairly and abused. The blue-haired prince treats her horribly because of some inferiority complex. After she dies a horrible death, which is solely the responsibility of the blue-haired trash prince, she gets a second chance.

In her previous life she was timid and fragile, she didn't speak up and just did as others told her.

So you would assume, that the character would now try to right the wrongs after time was reset and she is now in the body of her 10 yo self.

WRONG! WRONG! You would assume so, but you'd be WRONG! because the author apparently has a fetish for making ... our main character not only COMPLETELY oblivious to the emotions of those around her (she is incapable of sensing that 2 WAY BETTER men are interested in her) but she also falls in love AGAIN with the guy that sexually and physically abused her.

She tries to "change" her faith, but not really. She still makes all the same mistakes again because she just can't open her fucking mouth when it counts, but at other times she is capable of articulating and speaking her fucking mind no problem.

What do we call that? Shit writing. The author uses the MC to do whatever he needs to happen in that scene, no matter if it makes sense for her character to do so.

Do NOT invest time into this story, unless you are okay with the MC ignoring love interests that genuinely like her for her core personality, instead of for her to go with the guy that MURDERED her and his unborn child inside of her. YUP, that's the kind of guy the prince is, and not because she made him so. That's how he is, it was not her fault at all.

It's true that this anime doesn't do anything TRUELY original with the genre and themes present within it.

For christ's sake, it even has a blond "tsundere" with twin tails.

However, all those concepts are not only excellently executed, but it also avoids a lot of common pitfalls and tropes of the genre while introducing pleasant twists that make the characters more "realistic" and a lot more likable.

The humor lands for me almost all the time and has me laughing out loud. The art could be better, but what is presented isn't bad at all. Music is sadly forgettable (not talking about the OP and ED, just ... the general OST).

I think people will especially appreciate this anime if they've seen a lot in this specific genre, given that it does a lot of things right that others don't.
