MINOR SPOILERS!!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(NO SPOILERS) OVERVIEW:
So, the show focuses on three different couples. Your classic high school BL story split up into three couples and their experiences with love. Since the show revolves around these characters who fell in love, it can be appreciated that we got a bit of each of these couple's relationships, as it really allows us to see another side of these characters and it adds to the development and comprehension of some aspects of the plot. This show fulfilled its job in making me see how lonely I am :D (if that helps). Each individual character has their own uniqueness to
...
their personality, and the different ways in which they all worked through their problems and how they expressed themselves. But, like any other show - it has its flaws.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(SPOILERS) PROBLEMS:
These couples felt very rushed. For example, when Ootomo "broke up?" with the teacher and Tsuchiya just jumped in and was like "Pick me" right after Ootomo's break up. It's understandable that Tsuchiya thought this was his moment but if he knows nothing about Ootomo's past relationship how would Tsuchiya know if Ootomo was even over it yet? Let alone mentally in the right state to jump right back into a relationship. Ootomo mentioned to Tsuchiya that him and the teacher had been on and off for a while and were struggling, but still. Tsuchiya, not a good time lol. In their case it was, but grounding at reality - in a hypothetical scenario most of the time someone would need time to process a breakup, I personally think the worst thing they can have in that moment is someone jumping right in their face after that breakup and asking them to start another relationship. That was an example.
The show is lackluster at times.
- The plot is your pretty basic BL story (boy + boy fall in love - the smooth talking and intimate moments)
Each couple fell in love differently though and shared different moments (Enjoyable cute moments)
- Characters a bit basic design wise (Some characters designed well, some a bit more boring)
- Dialogue was well put in some moments but cliche at others.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(NO SPOILERS) OVERALL:
Overall - the couples are rushed, the plot is a bit basic, and character design could have been more original and unique. But it's 100% worth a watch. It's your run of the mill high school BL show, but the author did it well with character development, cute scenes, art, music, and decent dialogue. Nothing was extravagant about this show, but it's an enjoyable quick watch.

Yes. I know what everyone is most likely thinking - the age gap. I am not too familiar with a lot of BL but I watched and read my fair share. This was a new plot to me - so the age gap was a bit disturbing. I wasn’t sure how I felt about it… but I told myself to just finish the show and let’s see how it works out. Overall the plot was really interesting and the dialogue was well put. I think some aspects of the show were unrealistic but then again this is an anime. Watching this has definitely changed some
...
views I’ve had about age gap being a weird thing in society norms. We are so used to seeing couples around the same age group and age gaps are told to be disgusting or not right. Now ofc let’s not have a 50 year old with a frickin 3 year old child. That’s NOT what I’m saying. I think Masahiro and Kousuke should’ve have waited until Masahiro was 18 - because then he is an adult and according to law we can’t tell him sh*t about what he does with his life. I really liked a line that Masahiro said in the last episode “This man, I love - he’s not a god of destruction or a perfect flawless hero. He was born before I was, and I love him.” - that line had me wanting to cry. Masahiro was expressing that Kousuke may have been born before him - but he knows it was meant to be. And I believe that also - they are soulmates. Kousuke happened to be born before Mashiro that’s all. I am not in anyway saying that it’s okay for Kousuke to be 27 and dating a 16 year old or to be doing anything with him… like I said they should’ve waited two more years. But I understand the point of this anime and these two amazing people are not monsters - but loves born at separate times. I think now I may be a bit more understanding of age gaps ADULT WISE and I think that is what the author maybe intended for. But overall, besides thinking about the age gap - I really enjoyed the show.

“Sasaki and Miyano” was such a beautiful show, and it had me invested through each episode. A show that represents quirky and normal teenagers exploring who they are. Sasaki and Miyano have to come to terms with their feelings and I really just enjoy their love story so much. Miyano is a bit dense but the representation he showed of being unfamiliar with love(even though he reads BL every single day) is just so funny to me. I really like how Sasaki realizes that even though Miyano is a man he loves him for who he is, and it really shows that you can love
...
the same or opposite gender. The story emphasizes on how love really is, explaining topics of just in general what can love feel like. The desire to be close, to do things for them, wanting physical affection, wanting to see them smile, etc. I think it really helped with my knowledge of love. It definitely has helped me with some questions I have, and I understand 100% why Miyano took so long to confess. Love can be so complex and frustrating and sometimes you don’t even know what love feels like until that moment of realization. I found myself routing for Sasaki and Miyano the whole time but I also love how it wasn’t rushed. Although I love a good romantic story quick and to the point, watching Sasaki and Miyano grow their relationship together was just such a beautiful thing to see. I also like that the gossip and warnings about same gender relationships is put into this series because it is a great representation of society nowadays as well; and although it’s not as bad, you still see people judging everyday over same gender relationships. My thing always - was that love is love and you just can’t control who you fall in love with. I also want to say that the art was well drawn. The animation was decently fluid. Key scenes of the show were so well put, for example in the last episode when Miyano finally confessed; the scene drew you in with just the way the hands were emphasized and the facial expressions. I really enjoyed watching Sasaki and Miyano just continuously hugging at the end as well to show the built up tension and them just wanting to hold each other. Its so relatable. I'd recommend “Sasaki and Miyano” as a great starter for people just entering the BL world, as it catches the aspect of what BL is, but also how romance is portrayed(physically and emotionally). Just the quirky and cute aspects. This show definitely had me feeling so lonely, but it also made me feel so many other different feelings. Leaving me smiling so much, feeling so engaged, and having goosebumps. I’ve watched my fair share of BL, but “Sasaki and Miyano” is definitely in my top 5 favorite BL series and I think everyone needs to watch this show at least once in their lifetime.
Hope you have a blessing day/night, thanks for reading. 📖

Vinland saga’s first season was already amazing, Thorfinn was a character who wasn’t the best role model, and was only seeing revenge. Now, I enjoyed the season because Thorfinn was a character who was constantly developing. I also really like the action and historical aspect of the show. At the end of the season Thorfinn has his whole source of revenge taken away. Seemingly leaving him to wonder what his purpose is; something we all can relate to. Season 2 brought us back with Thorfinn as an adult now, but now a hollow shell with the mindset of not having anything to live for. What
...
I enjoyed about the season was that Thorfinn gradually became someone who we can look up to. Someone who I personally want to strive to be like. Thorfinn became someone kind and strong; all due to meeting 1 person. Thorfinn watched around him, and grew. He realized the meaning of life. He made me laugh, smile, cry, and we watched Thorfinn grow up. Thorfinn realized the value of life and earth, and I really liked that originality and honesty that the show brought for us viewers. I believe we all need to grow as people just like Thorfinn, and we can relate to Thorfinn’s past self in a way too. We can adapt and grow like Thorfinn, and he is a wonderful protagonist. The opening and ending sequences also bring a nice hype to the show, with incredible music, and art. The writing to the show is also something to be very intrigued by, and I found myself thinking after alot of what the characters presented in their speech. It was a drawing, and mind blowing show. I’d like to see more of what this show holds for us in a potential season 3. I’m looking forward to it. 10/10 show. *claps*

I understand a lot of people tend to have negative views on the newer demon slayer seasons, and how they “fell off” or “it’s boring”. I honestly don’t agree with these critics and would have to go with my own opinion saying demon slayer keeps getting better and better. This may be due to the fact that I haven’t read the manga(started it) or maybe because I haven’t watched enough anime?(Ive seen over 100 animes)But for sure, I can say demon slayer is one of my top 3. Something about how this show can make me feel emotions I never thought I would feel, and
...
the utter motivation and happiness this show brings to me is astonishing. I would recommend demon slayer highly, you may like it or you may not. At the very least, I’d say it’s worth giving the show a chance.

(MINOR SPOILERS) As one of the first horror manga's I've read, I have to say that i'm overall very satisfied. This manga has done its job of sending chills down my spine. Each chapter has a new sense of fear written all over it and as a person who tends not to be frightened so easily, I can say that I indeed was. I remember the night I read this manga I couldn't sleep, due to that fact that whenever I closed my eyes all I saw was Mr. Saito(Shuichis Father) curled up to embody the shape of a spiral. I'd say if your not
...
to well with gruesome images, do not read this manga, but I would highly suggest it to people who love to be frightened. The way this manga is so unique and mysterious, it really has made me question the mysterious behind this optical illusion called the spiral, this shape is embedded into my brain after reading this manga. I remember at some point in the manga it was mentioned that spirals will become more known, and will be a lot more noticeable after reading this manga, and I will say yes, yes it has become more noticeable to me. Spirals that I haven't noticed before, have now been coming into site a lot more often due to this book, and it really does make you wonder how you haven't noticed so many spirals in your everyday life before. Although I hoped the ending would've turned out a little better, I then remember that most horror stories don't always have the best of endings. So do I recommend this manga? Yes, yes I do. 10/10

MINOR SPOILERS!!
I can say this without fail, One Piece is one of the best anime's I have watched. I've heard many excuses about why people choose not to watch One Piece and although I have made excuses as well, I will never regret starting One Piece. It has been a amazing journey so far and quite frankly I never want this adventure to end, One Piece has helped me overcome so many things in my life, due to how much inspiration I have found within the show, like Zoro's loyalty, Luffys dedication, Sanji's ambition, and more! One Piece is a work of art, and although
...
the art style is unique, its a good unique! Its animation is 9/10, I took one point away due too the animation error of some characters skin tones being changed, after the 2 year time skip, but other than that I absolutely love it! The character development is a shocker, I looked at when I first started series and now, I am amazed by the growth of many of the individuals in the show! One thing is for sure...I will never get sick of One Piece! I started my journey a little more than a year ago, and i'm sad to say my journey is closely coming to a close, with being at the Dressrosa arc I know my journey is getting caught up, and soon ill have to start waiting for episodes to come out, which makes me sad. And the last main thing I have to say is that the music! My gosh the music! There is no words to describe the thrill, the pain, the happiness, I endure when listening to the intros, and the melodys. Its just what makes one piece so amazing. My favorite characters are Trafalgar Law, and Luffy. I met Law for the first time and related to him so much which is why I like him so much, I felt like an outcast because I was different, and Law made me feel like I wasn't alone, he made me laugh so much at times when Luffy would annoy the crap out of him :D, and Luffy... My gosh he is just so cool! Luffy makes me feel like I have nothing to worry about in life, and motivates me to push my self over the limits. I love how Luffy can be is funny, careless, and his happy self, but at the same time I know he hurts, and can be serious at the most important times which is what I love about him. My favorite arc right now is Dressrosa, the one i'm at currently. And I just want to say one thing, do yourself a favor and start your journey of One Piece, I promise you won't regret it.
