+I am a die-hard BLOOD+ fan, I made tons of memes, persuaded my friends to watch BLOOD+, even though almost none of them liked it as much as I did, I think BLOOD+ is just a masterpiece - OST, story, and atmosphere - just everything about it is beautiful and well-thought. Sometimes I read reviews about it, it is sad to see people wrongly think movie of the year 2000 (BLOOD: The Last Vampire) is a new movie that came after BLOOD+ and people judge its CGI when it is just too good for anime of the year 2000 + it is a good old horror movie-like anime movie. It is also sad that BLOOD-C became more popular than BLOOD+. TBH, BLOOD-C is not that bad, it is boring, because it should be boring for the last 3 episodes, it is meant to be that way, even characters themselves say everything, every shop - there is just 1 of each in that boring city. I am not denying its flaws and all, but let's not forget that the real Saya is from BLOOD+ and as BLOOD+ is masterpiece it is hard to make something after that. Every masterpiece's sequel is doomed to be hated, or not liked as much as the prequel. Anyway, let's not get distracted from the main topic here. TLTR: After watching BLOOD+ I watched 1,380 animes and only 1,381st anime - Mnemosyne: Mnemosyne no Musume-tachi - was the only anime that gave BLOOD+ vibes, had similar aesthetic and beauty, and similar themes. The only flaw is that it doesn't have good OSTs as BLOOD+ does, and doesn't have too sad scenes like Vietnamese girl's scene, but it is still good and I enjoyed it thoroughly, and if a lazy person such as myself went out of his way to write this recommendation, then it is a must-watch, and it is only 6 movie-long episodes.

Although these anime are different as a genre, one is about fantasy world, another is about XX century world. HOWEVER! Both have same concept idea, and that MC was sent to another world via time travel by someone who is superior (P.S. this isn't a spoiler as long as you watch 1st episode of both). It is interesting to mention that even opening of Youjo Senki is also very similar to Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Issekai one.
