One Punch Man

One Punch Man is masterpiece, this anime truly sets the bar on it's great animation, great characters, and a badass ost. There are two reasons I love One Punch Man, First: it takes the concept of someone being able to beat enemies in one punch and gives me entertaining battles and a funny protagonist. Sure the the concept seems like, how can you make a story revolving around the concept, well...just check it out to see it. Groove Adventure Rave(known as rave master in north america) is easily one of my favorites for shonen's also it's my 5th favorite manga EVER! Let's get down the story, A boy named Haru Glory is the chosen one...The rave master (meaning he is one of the only one's who can use rave stones) along his journey with a snowman named plue (who is called a dog) meet's an etherion girl named Ellie, a man who can shape shift metal named Musica, a dragon from the mystic realm named Let, and numerous other characters. Fairy tail is one of those shonen manga's that have ideas which sound good on paper, but has terrible execution. One of the problems with this manga, it doesn't have a clear sense of direction with it's story(eg. fairy tail talks about the villains motives and then flashback to why the villain does this, which always tries to make character's have sad backstories..Which aren't sad. If they don't have that, their generic doomsday villains waiting for fairy tail to give them a whooping.) lack of character development in this story, and switch's between having interesting topics and ... |
