This manwha is a love story, it tells the tale of a love that spans across the ages despite what seems like irreversible odds.

Throughout the story I was rather puzzled by the directions that were being taken. Who was the good guy? Who was the bad? I wanted everything to be black and white and there really wasn't any such extremes in this manwha. Then it builds into a crescendo that leaves you stunned at it's end as it reaches a bitterwseet conclusion. How does the story really end? Well that's for the reader to decide I think. I thought it was a rather brilliant ... story telling move as to continue the story from there would have defeated the purpose I think.

The art quality is decent, though sometimes it leaves you longing for more, but all in all it's not bad. The dialogue is average, though it may leave you wondering if some things were lost in translation from time to time.

Also, I find the changing text on her shirts to be amusing since it was obviously just filler print.

Not the best I've read, but certainly not the worst. Read it if you like bittersweet stories of romance, pass it on buy if you want something purely sweet and fluffy as this won't ping your sweet tooth particularly.

Edit: Now that I've finally figured out how to edit reviews, let me go ahead and revamp my take on Regios even if it has been a while.

Story 7: The story is a pretty common one in parts I think. Boy has extraordinary power, boy doesn't want to use that power, boys tries to run away from that power, and then discovers that with great power comes great responsibility so he has to suck it up and use it. Not that it's a bad story, it's just a pretty common one.

Art 7: I can't find any major flaws with the artwork. The background and characters ... all look good and the battle scenes flow nicely. It's not my favorite style of artwork, but it was well done for the style they used.

Sound 9: I quite like the tracks for this series so far. The background tracks all portray the mood of the scene accurately and the OP and ED are enjoyable. The OP is probably my favorite this season that I've heard yet. The ED certainly grew on me and I appreciated how the different characters each had a version. It really gave some more character to the show..

Character 7: I really enjoyed the characters in this series. While they didn't really seem to change or grow I was rather attached to them regardless. I never could bring myself to like Felli very much sadly, despite her comic and moe appeal. Nina was a lost cause, but the fact that she continued to try impressed me personally and all the other characters were interesting in their own ways.

Enjoyment 8: It's a fun watch. Good action, good characters, and what's a fairly enjoyable premise even if it's a little confusing at times.

Overall 7: If you're looking for a new action series to watch I'd entirely recommend this show. Granted I typically don't watch Shounen that much but doesn't that say something about the flexibility of this show if it's able to convert a Shoujo fan like myself? Go into this with an open mind and you might find yourself surprised by the outcome.
