Kodomo no Omocha (TV)

The plots of these two anime are waay different (but I think that's a good thing, you don't want to watch the same anime twice) and the only noticeable similarity is the hair color of the two main characters (romantic interests). But what I think you'll later find is that both of these anime give very mature situations to the characters. In Kodomo no Omocha, the characters are in Elementary School through Middle School yet they're given some problems that you wouldn't expect children their age to be able to get through. In Marmalade Boy, although they're in high school, they still get some pretty intense situations. One thing I definitely know is that I watched Kodomo no Omocha right after I watched Marmalade Boy and it was one of my best decisions because they are both two of my favorites.
