I really enjoyed seeing one of my favorite games adapted into a manga. While I don’t think the medium is the best fit for this franchise, there are certainly some amazing panels and impressive artwork that make it worth checking out. That said, I wouldn’t consider it a superior experience by any means. For me, the game remains the definitive way to enjoy this story, with its immersive gameplay, atmosphere, and emotional depth. The anime would come in second place, as it captures a lot of the game's charm and brings the characters to life in a different way, but it doesn’t fully replicate the

impact of the original game.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 5: Golden Wind is an absolute gem, with a cast I’ve grown to love, especially Giorno and Bucciarati. Giorno is such a unique and driven character, and I genuinely don’t understand why he doesn’t get as much love from some fans—his calm resolve and strong sense of justice make him a powerful and inspiring protagonist. Bucciarati, on the other hand, brings the team together with his unwavering loyalty and sense of honor, making him one of the most unforgettable characters in the entire series.
Araki’s storytelling and character development noticeably improve in Part 5, blending complex character dynamics with creative Stand battles
...
that keep the intensity high. The plot twists and the depth of each character’s backstory make every episode or chapter feel meaningful and contribute to the overall impact of the story.
While I enjoy both the manga and the anime, I definitely prefer the anime adaptation. The animation quality and fluidity bring each Stand battle to life, and the OST elevates every scene, capturing the drama, tension, and excitement of each moment perfectly. Golden Wind is a thrilling journey from start to finish, and I’m grateful for an adaptation that highlights all of Araki’s incredible work so beautifully.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 7: Steel Ball Run is nothing short of a masterpiece, featuring one of the most breathtaking art styles I’ve ever seen. The journey has been incredibly emotional, thrilling, and consistently exciting, with each chapter drawing me further into its beautifully crafted world. Araki-sensei has gifted us an unforgettable experience, and I am deeply grateful to have read this story from start to finish.
The execution is absolute perfection, weaving together complex themes, shocking plot twists, compelling characters, memorable dialogue, high-stakes conflicts, and, ultimately, a deeply satisfying conclusion. And, of course, the art—stunning, vivid, and utterly unique—elevates every page, turning each panel into
...
a work of art that leaves a lasting impact.
Part 7 is truly poetic. The unforgettable story of Johnny Joestar, a man who learns to stand up once again, has left a permanent mark on me. The final words, “Let’s go home, Gyro,” resonate with all the emotion and growth of Johnny’s journey. Steel Ball Run is an experience I’ll carry with me always, a testament to Araki’s incredible storytelling and artistry

Fire Punch is a manga that, despite its unique premise, left me feeling more frustrated than impressed. While it opens with a dark, intriguing setup, the story quickly spirals into a chaotic mess that feels gratuitous and, ultimately, narratively hollow. It’s clear that the series tries to explore heavy themes and push boundaries, but its approach often comes off as excessive rather than meaningful. The grim tone and brutal content don’t add depth to the story; instead, they often feel like shock value for the sake of it.
I love Fujimoto's chaotic art style and story telling don't get me wrong but with this manga he
...
didn't quite get it right , If not for Fire Punch we wouldn't have Chainsawman , But narratively, Fire Punch struggles to stay coherent. The pacing is erratic, with scenes jumping from one extreme to another in ways that disrupt the flow and make it hard to connect with the characters. Agni, the protagonist, is certainly complex, but the story doesn't flesh him out in a way that feels satisfying or engaging. Instead of a clear, compelling arc, it’s as if we’re watching random events unfold with little purpose or cohesion.
In the end, Fire Punch feels like wasted potential. It has an interesting foundation but falls apart in its execution. For me, it was a disappointing read, lacking the narrative substance or character depth that could have made it memorable.

Bleach resonates on a profound level, weaving themes of inner conflict, balance, and human connection that go far beyond its stunning visuals and epic battles. Each character embodies a unique struggle, one that mirrors Ichigo’s journey of self-discovery. While initially captivating with its intricate character designs, thrilling battles, and iconic OST, Bleach’s true strength lies in its deeper narrative : the search for balance within oneself.
Ichigo’s path serves as the heart of this exploration. His internal war between light and darkness is something universal, a reflection of the very human battle to accept every facet of oneself. He must integrate his human, Hollow, and Shinigami
...
sides—forces in constant tension—to reach a harmonious state. This journey of self-acceptance, of balancing one's inner contradictions, speaks to something deeply personal. Just as the Shinigami maintain the equilibrium of souls across realms, Ichigo must find a similar balance within, blending black and white to reach a state of “grey”—the true theme of Bleach.
Many characters undergo similar transformative arcs. Rukia’s battle with the No. 9 Espada is a powerful example, as she confronts her guilt and comes to terms with her past, ultimately accepting it to grow stronger. Hitsugaya’s struggle to balance his cold exterior with the warmth he feels for those he cares about is another instance of internal conflict yielding strength. Renji, Byakuya, and even antagonists like Ulquiorra grapple with understanding themselves and their values, their journeys enriching the central theme of equilibrium.
Bleach, ultimately, is a story about embracing one’s entirety—strengths, flaws, and all—and finding the courage to confront and harmonize these opposing forces. It's a tale that stays with you, urging you to reflect on the balance needed in one’s own life, making it far more than just a story of good versus evil, but one of self-discovery and human connection at its core.
Bleach is my all time favorite piece of fiction
I already loved it's elements from character designs, writing , plot, Ost and of course the animation
upon the first time I watched the anime but that was just on the surface level ,
Now it resides within my heart on a deeper more personal level .

Going into this part after reading SBR and expecting something that exceeds it is a far bit too demanding because after all Part 7 is Hirohiko Araki sensei's magnum opus so I did not expect it to surpass it or anything and yet I was amazed by this part and how well written and illustrated it was , definitely in my Top 3 JoJo parts and It is extremely underrated because it's overshadowed by SBR . This Part does it's own thing and that's why I love it . The Art is spectacular ,Characters feel real and well written and their dialogues (Especially the Protagonist
...
Josuke and his developments) and they have a certain charm to them it's like when you know someone in real life from afar and you generate an idea about how they're like but when you actually get to know them you see how they really are and it's a very bizarre experience to say the least. I loved getting to know all the aspects of this world and the Rock humans biology and the themes of this story amazingly executed . It has a lot of mature themes but my favorite was the theme of family and how the lack of one can do to someone (like the rock humans). Your past ,heritage, lineage does not define who you are and how Josuke came to accept this fact after eagerly wanting to know who he , reclaim his memories and learn about his past and then he decided to create his own future from now on because that's what matters most and that's what's in our hands . The Stands were so bizarre this part as this part took the word bizarre to another level. Truly a must-read I can't recommend it enough!

This is a good anime in terms of art , animation , Ost and voice acting but there is something I must say : I think this adaptation conveys a very diffrent idea of the Tokyo Ghoul series as it portrays the theme to be a bit more edgy than the actual manga and this is a result of removing a lot of drama moments and character interactions and overall a lot of scenes from the manga. Also it doesn't help that there is a diffrent order than the manga where they adapt volume 4 before volume 3 in the anime which makes no sense
...
whatsover but I think the reason is this anime wants this adaptation to appeal to Shonen fans so it tries to reach the fights faster even if it means adapting the story poorly which is not ideal and makes people view this series as a nothing but edgy anime with fights and extremely bloody and violent scenes just to make cool scenes without context . I would prefer if this season was 24 episodes so I am hoping for a TG remake one day , other than that I recommend reading the manga first so you can experience the story in a better way that shows the amazing author Sui Ishida's genuine talent in themes and writing and of course the art .

I have started reading this manga since I watched it's anime adaptation and I quite enjoyed the first season
and how it ended left me wanting more so I decided to continue the manga yet for some reason it took me a year to come back to read it and I was truly missing out .
What stood out to me aside from the uniquely flowing Art style and the well choreographed fights is how well written the cast is , Although the cast is not that big it's the way that the author handled each character's development and how throughout all the story he
...
successfuly fleshed out all their characters and also developed them in a way that felt natural and not forced by any means that makes it so special. I loved the Gabimaru and Rien character's parallel and how they are diffrent sides to the same coin both doing everything for their love. I also adore how Sagiri's development kept changing but it ended up tying so smoothly into the story's overall theme which is basically : (It's okay to have Doubts)Which is a great and special message to convey in a Shounen battle manga especially when it contradicts most battle manga (I feel like Shugen dying is how the Author feels about the Samurai mindset and how We are not Samurai and that old mindset is long gone)
, We are only human after all and having doubt doesn't equal weakness
but on the contrary having doubt and pushing through it is what makes us stronger
and in a way it's also a big factor to what makes life worth living . I also loved Shion , Tenza and Nurugai's story and how it was handled (Especially the Panel where Tenza gives his blade to Nurugai) and The Twin brother's were so damn entertaining on every page they were drawn.
Overall I highly recommend this Manga to everyone who loves battle shounen but also want's a maturity to how the characters are handled and how they develop which isn't just how physically powerful they are but also their spirit which is more important.

Aside from the gorgeous animation and amazing voice acting , Ost and everything synonymous with the Monogatari Series. I loved Araragi in this arc because of the whole journey of not knowing if it's love or if it's just admiration for Who Hanekawa is. He sees her as a role model due to her Perfect and or Virtuous responses to everything especially in the Kizumonogatari Movies. She stopped him from killing himself and forced herself to be his friend when he needed a friend most , She changed his perspective and values on a lot of things while she herself was also suffering from other
...
things that she built up inside. So Hanekawa being his first friend he started to like her more and more even though he denied it at first then due to this confusion and stress he asked his sisters about it and reached a conclusion which mistaked it for Love. Now when I say mistake it's not because he didn't love her HE DID but only the character she portrayed which is only a part of her and so when he found out that this virtuous portrayal was not truly her and saw her cat form ( It's not just the odditiy which made her this way This is her true self which she goes into extra lengths to hide from other people) He realized that He hated her true self and so when he said he did he actually meant it but there is no denying she saved and helped him so he was willing to give his life for her even if it was meaningless , That's when the vampire who he saved comes in to save him and then Hanekawa goes back into her normal life after forgetting everything that happened. Araragi's arc is compete when he accepted that this feeling towards her was only admiration and now he is hoping that one day he will be able to genuinely love someone for who they truly are .
