Inuyashiki- an anime that have the potential to be one of the greatest anime of all time, got butchered in every way - Story, Character, except the animation. Now, i wont give a big ass explanation here. I will just tell everything on point.
The animation is 10/10, no issues here.
And the story, the story-it had immense potential, like it could have been as great as animes like AOT. They got all that plot smashed into a mere 11ep, huh? Also, there are many things that looked very odd.

have easily been one of the greatest MC ever. And Hiro,the villain, had the lot to be the greatest villain ever. But what happened? Bro at first kills, then becomes good dude then again starts killing. With that story, the author could have expanded it all over the world, the MC and The villain had powers that could have shaken the whole world, but got confined into the japanese neighbourhoods. Also, a superhuman being like Inuyashiki, the grandpa roaminh around the streets and nobody knows about it? Huh? And the most illogical shit, there are two superhuman beings with powers to destroy the whole world, and the USA doesnt intervene? What is it? A fairy tale? A world where USA doesnt fuck around? So much potential- MC's character had way more space to develope, as well as for the villain. There is no explanation about the villain's Past and Psychology. It was like Hiro randomly started killing for no reason. There were so much room in the story for many characters to be introduced. Love,Hope,Betrayal, Heroism and many more chemistry could have been created among these characters. MOST IMPORTANTLY! The author literally ignored the existence of Aliens, There could be a whole arc about these aliens, why are they roaming around the earth, WHAT are they, WHAT they want and what is there origin. I mean this story could have expanded throughtout the galaxy, going beyond earth. But,NO! There were mentioned for a second and were never discussed again. As the aliens exist, it is possible there are one or two more superhuman beings across the world that could have made the story more interesting. The ending,was good, but it needed more depth, it needed more writing.
At the end, i want to say that,basically all the character havent got any depth and needed better writing. The character of hiro was very plain.
All over, This anime had the potential to be one of the greatest anime with over 40+episodes,with story having unlimited potential. But, sigh.
If you want to watch it, i wanna say that, it isnt that bad, it is good but, if want something with more depth and good writing this aint for you.
