First prefernce for me choosing a anime is

First comes the artstyle

Second the story

Thirdly the genre

I love Romance and Romcom Anime
I believe they touching the feelings of the viewers, better than movies with real actors.

I'm big fan of Action and Military Anime like Girls und Panzer and Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind

I'm not very fan of Mecha but i have watch some masterpieces like 86 and Darling in the Franxx

Favourites directors are Hayao Miyazaki and Makoto Shinkai

I despise anime with scenes or endings which you don't understand nothing and leaves many questions unanswered.

I can't stand drama or hearthbroken scenes, necessary or unanecessary

Also i hate harem anime which ends without the MC choosing a girl or be with all of them.

I could not recommend ef: A Tale of Memory/Melodies according to your taste and preference

ef: A Tale of Memory/Melodies are definitely not slice of life/lighthearted anime. It is a story with character and drama. So I cannot confidently recommend this anime.

I haven't started reading the manga yet and I might start it soon. Thanks for your recommendation and I high expectation now!

I like different types of romance anime, lightheart or heartwarming romance anime such as Amagami SS I like it a lot.

Hi, I really like Akagami no shirayukihime and perhaps you could share your thought on whether I should continue to read the manga or not!

For me, my favourite romance anime is CLANNAD, Toradora, Fruits Basket and Gokinjo Monotagari. I trend to like drama in the story more than slice of life.

What about you? which genre in romance anime you prefer?
