Ever since the second season, it feels like Yami Shibai is just not trying. The first season managed to be a somewhat creepy compilation of short stories based on Japanese folklore and urban legends, however, from season two onwards it feels like the stories are just random and have no background. At this point, I simply watch Yami Shibai for the sake of it with very low expectations.
Yami Shibai is as straightforward as it can get. The masked storyteller goes around sharing his short horror tales. Each of these builds an eerie atmosphere and some tension for a monster to be revealed at the end.
...
One of the strongest points of the first seasons was their designs. Most monsters as far as I remember had cool designs, but right now most of the time the tension just builds up to the revelation of some abstract being or silhouette who lacks impact. There are even some attempts at psychological horror but it just doesn't fit the short format.
While this season doesn't really excel when it comes to sound it still does an okay job and it's what stands out the most in the end. The storyteller's voice acting is always pleasant and sets the tone and the ending theme is also nice. The sound effects during the shorts themselves are kind of hit or miss. Sometimes they help, sometimes you don't even notice they're there.
And as per usual, while there's really no animation, the art style suits this work but the lack of interesting monster designs makes it lackluster.
Overall I would say I still manage to enjoy this and somehow I always watch every new season but I wouldn't recommend it. Just watch the first and perhaps the second season and don't bother with the rest. I keep watching it with a very faint expectation it might someday come back to its roots.

I'm quite particular when it comes to hentai rating. While I rate this a 6, on a hentai-only scale this would be an 8/10. Just clarifying why I'll speak very positively about this work. Now onto the actual review.
It's your friendly hentai-loving neighbor once again, to review a pornographic manga for the first time. Firstly, in case you haven't checked the genres in whichever hentai site you came across this work, Alice in Sexland contains a fair amount of rape scenes or harassment. So if you can't stand that, I wouldn't recommend this work. However, if you're a sick bastard like me who enjoys watching
...
fictional characters suffer every once in a while, you should have no issues with this one.
The act opens with our protagonist Alice running from her rapist captors and immediately coming across a hole, which you can probably guess takes her to a sort of Wonderland. But as implied in the title, this work is a sexual parody of Alice in Wonderland with a twist by the end. Every chapter is a different sexual misadventure of our group of female protagonists while they interact with different kinds of fantasy creatures (obviously through sex). Most chapters are pretty mild, fun, and over-the-top except for a few serious ones that depict Alice's dark past. There are many diverse sex scenes and they manage to stay fresh throughout the manga. Be warned that there is also a high amount of "futa" scenes. I'm not a "futa" fan at all but it never really bothered me that much since they're justified.
There's not much to say about the characters. Alice's friends are pretty carefree and have plenty of fun interactions while most other characters appear once for a sex scene and are not recurring. Alice herself works to overcome her trauma and the ending explains most characters' personalities. The "villain" was also surprisingly interesting personality-wise. Not great characterization but if you're been reading and watching hentai for a while you probably know that the characterization present in such works is terrible.
Overall, I'd highly recommend this work if you can stomach the rape and "futa" genres. Besides an amazing artwork, sexy scenes, and charming fantasy character designs, this work manages to deliver a satisfying sex parody of Alice in Wonderland with a nice plot twist ending. This was honestly a very enjoyable ride with a few strong emotions and most importantly a lovely artwork. Personally one of my top 5 hentai manga right now.

This manga ended a while ago and no one left a review so I'll just write a short one.
Mitsuboshi Colors is a simple Slice of Life and Comedy manga about the misadventures of three little girls who form the "Colors gang". Every chapter is a different story with a few recurring characters centered around the protagonists' troubles and silly ideas.
Our trio of elementary school girls is often around their local park and interacts with a bunch of other characters in their city's neighborhood. They usually prank Saitou, go around solving cases, or play around with a few high school friends. There really is no much
...
to the story, the trio simply reunites and plans some activity for the day and every day is a brand new adventure.
Regarding the characters. We have Sacchan, the super-energetic girl who loves to shout random stuff and usually has terrible ideas. Yui, the smart and shy girl who usually has the most logical ideas. And lastly, we have Kotoha, the girl who likes video games and loves to mock Sacchan. Their personalities aren't complex and they don't really develop but it's not really needed due to the episodic and simplistic formula of this story. The rest of the characters also have basic lines and present coherent and fun reactions when engaged by the Colors. Everyone's simple but charming.
The illustration is not excellent but it works for this kind of story. The panels and character designs are often basic but there are some really beautiful illustrations that bump the quality a little higher. While simple the girls' designs are still very pleasant to look at.
Overall Mitsuboshi Colors is a short and enjoyable Slice of Life manga with feels good and fun moments. It's pretty innocent and you don't really need to think, just enjoy it. There's also 0% fan service or sexualization so it's suitable for every reader. If you're looking for a fun story with innocent and fun characters you should read this. While I don't think it's as good as Yotsuba to, I still found this a very enjoyable read. It's also worth mentioning that the anime adaptation is equally fun and wholesome, so check it out!

Asobi Asobase - A chaotic and exaggerated mess of an anime!
Pretty sure this review is completely spoiler-free and any detail I give about the characters is revealed during the first episode, but there can always be a spoiler I am not aware of.
Upon looking at Asobi Asobase for the first time, I thought it was the usual high school-themed CGDCT (Cute Girls Doing Cute Things) anime with some weird facial expressions here and there but I could not be more wrong. I typically avoid this type of anime because they are not entertaining at all, as they all share a similar premise with the same
...
types of cute girls and that just bores me to death. For some reason, I decided to give this anime a try based on the preview but I still was not optimistic about it, however, it became my favorite anime of the season hands down and my second favorite anime mainly focused on comedy as of now. Enough with introductions and let us start the actual review.
I am going to start with a short description and comment on the story because there is not much to talk about it anyway. Asobi Asobase is the type of anime that does not have an elaborated story and every episode consists of a couple of uncomfortable and hilarious incidents between the three protagonists and the rest of the cast. Its simplicity works in this case and it even offers some continuity and the characters' relationships are consistent. It gets very surreal and foolish and you might ask yourself why a drama tag? Is this actually a serious story in any way? In short: absolutely not. In my opinion, it has a Drama tag due to all the over-dramatic reactions of the girls that turn every little misunderstanding into a huge 'drama'. Hanako is a complete drama queen. At first, the story looks like a variant of Dagashi Kashi as it focuses on classic Japanese games instead of candy but it has quite a variety of content. Sometimes it is about their club, sometimes it is about a side character mystery, and sometimes it is about an innocent dialog about sex. You never expect what is going to happen next in this surreal and ridiculous school comedy.
Now we get to the part that I consider the most important about this show, its characters. The focus is obviously the main characters' hideous and completely dysfunctional personalities.
Firstly, I am going to focus on Hanako, my favorite character. Hanako initially looks innocent, cheerful, and playful, though she is actually a character with a pretty distorted mind that usually causes the biggest incidents and awkward situations in order to attain popularity among her schoolmates. It is also worth noting that the voice actor really did a great job with this role as she managed to sound completely hysterical and exaggerated, thus fitting the character perfectly. Every Hanako exaggeration is ensured entertainment.
Secondly, we have Olivia, a character that looks like the typical cute foreign transfer student, except she is not really a foreign student and there is nothing cute about her manipulative personality. Olivia is a sadistic character that enjoys having fun mocking Hanako's ingenuity and delusions. She really is not the generic type of foreign transfer student you expect at first.
Lastly, there is the bookworm Kasumi. A serious and clear-minded quiet girl that reluctantly becomes friends with Olivia and Hanako or that is what it might seem at first. Just like the rest, you soon find out she can be just as chaotic as the other girls. She can be spiteful and sadistic at times. While she is typically the most “normal” character on this cast, she also has her deal of problems and that reflects on her character, which originates interesting scenarios and character interactions.
The rest of the cast just adds to the craziness of the main characters and the more you watch the more you learn that everyone is crazy in their own way. But what really shines is how dynamic the trio is.
When it comes to the artwork and sound there is not much to write. The music is not particularly memorable but it fits the type of show. The voice actors have to be praised though. They are one of the reasons this anime is so fun, their performance fits their characters like a glove. The artwork is decent and so are the characters' design but the little details and exaggerated facial expressions make up for the seemingly generic school-themed art.
Finally, it is time to write about my personal enjoyment and conclusions. I would lie if I told the enjoyment does not heavily weigh on my ratings, after all the main point of anime is to entertain, among other objectives. This is not an intriguing or thought-provoking anime, this is a straight-up comedy with a very unpredictable trio of protagonists. I find it great unlike the rest of CGDCT anime as it does not rely on its characters' cuteness or lovable personalities, neither try to sexualize them. Asobi Asobase does the opposite. All the three main girls have ugly personalities and are not lovable at the very least, however, that is why I like them so much. There are no “imouto”, “tsundere”, “yuri characters”, and so on. If you are like me and hate repetitive CGDCT and high school-themed comedies, you should try Asobi Asobase. It manages to create a fresh anime from many overused genres replete with clichés and copy-pasted characters and scenes. Despite all this, Asobi Asobase might be a very polarizing anime as you either love or hate it. You either love its characters and comedy or you might completely hate it, but that is all up to you and I just hope this review increased your curiosity about this anime that can be quite deceiving based on its innocent appearance and opening. You just have to watch the first episode to decide. I instantly fell in love with it and loved every single moment of this show. I am really sad it is over and I hope an announcement for season 2 will be revealed soon.

I thought I had seen the worst Japanese animation had to offer, I really believed that after watching pathetic hentai like Boku no Pico and anime like Byston Well Monogatari, Pupa and Mars of Destruction, but I was so wrong...
And here I am, with a masochistic wish looking for terrible hentai at 1 AM. I never thought I would write a review for hentai, but I cannot stay quiet this time.
There is not much of an introduction to be written here, let's jump straight to the review of this garbage.
Story ~ 0/10
So, we have a story about rape, suicide, reincarnation, some weird spiritual "Endsky"
...
bullshit that does not make the slightest sense. I cannot even tell what this story is about.
I thought Pupa's plot was pathetic and the biggest and most confusing piece of crap I would ever find, but Tsui no Sora takes the throne. My brain hurts after this one.
Maybe there is some incredibly deep message here, but I am just incredibly dumb and I cannot understand the truth portrayed in this masterpiece...
I wish this had no story. It would have been 100x better.
Beyond pathetic. I did not read the source, but after watching this I want to stay the hell away from it the further possible.
Characters ~ 0/10
I finished watching the hentai 5 minutes ago and I already forgot every character's name, face, and personality. There is not even the smallest effort to make the characters look appealing or distinct. All the characters are super cliché and were incredibly bland, even I could draw more appealing characters than that, for real.
Not to mention the hilariously BAD dialog that made me laugh at how pointless it was. It was so bad I did not know I should cry or laugh.
Animation ~ 0/10
This must be one of the ugliest and less appealing hentai ever created. I could not even get the slightest boner out of this one. There are no sexy girls, everything is way too censored even for Japanese standards. The censorship was close to fully-censoring the girl's body.
I could literally create better-looking hentai with a free program, it looks that bad. The visuals are not only ugly as f*ck, but they also look incredibly amateurish.
Hentai where the sex scenes were unpleasant to look at. Now, this is new...
Sound ~ 0/10
I am literally the person that always gives a good or decent rating in the sound department, I try to always be positive on this one, even listening to the little boys moaning in Boku no Pico was more pleasant than this.
At least Boku no Pico had a decent opening and ending song, but this crappy hentai offended my ears. ALL THE SOUNDS WERE STUPIDLY UNPLEASANT. Every damn voice acting was terrible, every sound was so unnatural, especially the sex sounds. The ejaculation and penetration sound in this hentai were literally some of the most ridiculous sounds I have ever heard in anime/hentai.
Every song sounded like it was taken from some cheap porn video.
Beyond pathetic. Congratulations Tsui no Sora, the worst sounding hentai ever.
Enjoyment ~ 1/10
This was perhaps the most ridiculous Japanese 'animation' I've ever watched. I did not read the novel this is based on, but dear God, the novel looks a lot better than this ugly piece of crap.
I do not know until which degree this was an adaptation of the novel or if this even is considered an adaptation at all, but this completely kills any motivation to check the source material.
I dare you to try to get the slightest boner out of this one. This hentai serves no purpose whatsoever and fails miserably. Everything looks incredibly amateurish.
Why do I even rate enjoyment a 1/10? Because it made me laugh at how terrible the dialog was at least.
Conclusion
Do not f*cking watch this. Please, spare your mind, eyes, and ears.
It will be 20 minutes you will never get back. Do not even try to force yourself to masturbate to this. There is nothing pleasant to look at here.
UNLESS you are looking for terrible hentai like I was, and if that is the case, you certainly came to the right place. Seriously, this must be the bottom of the barrel, I truly hope there is nothing worse than this hentai around!
I never wished so hard I could rate an anime a 0/10.

Kemono Friends English Review - TL;DR included at the end of the review so you can just skip to that section if you do not have the time to read my wall of text.
I tried to keep this as SPOILER-FREE as possible.
I will write a brief introduction to my review, where I state the reasons why I decided to watch the anime, the expectations I had for it, and the final conclusion after completion.
This anime looked silly and childish with terrible animation and only moe animal girls. I did not have any expectations prior to watching it. I thought I would drop this after
...
3 episodes. But it actually pretty watchable.
Unfortunately, it failed to amuse me for the most part and ranked average in almost every aspect which was a shame as there was a sparkle of potential.
I would not call it bad, it is decent for what it tries to accomplish and there is nothing amazing nor terrible about it. I am sure I will forget it in a few days as the characters and plot did not have much impact on me.
I will now focus on the story, characters, animation, sound and personal enjoyment individually according to MAL review recommendations.
Story ~ 5
The story is so simple even a kid would understand it. That's not necessarily bad, having a simple story can be good, lots of adventure anime have simple stories that work.
Kemono Friends, however, has a very linear story that can be compared to a generic RPG main mission "go from point A to point B and talk to this character". In Kemono Friends the main characters simply go from a point to another and talk with animal girls in order to uncover who Kaban-chan is.
They also seek to help every animal that needs their aid through the power of friendship, thinking outside the box and using the unique traits of said animals, which is a very positive message for kids. The problem lies in the fact that this becomes repetitive and predictable as it happens in almost every episode.
But fear not, behind this simple and cheerful plot there is a dark lore that might captivate the attention of the more mature audience or be completely ignored as most of the episodes all you see are animal girls solving some trivial issues.
The Cerulean are mysterious beings which are present in a small part of the anime. I wish they were more predominant and impactful, but in the end, they seemed like a kids version of the Angels from Evangelion or the foes found in Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de Aru as they were so easily defeated.
Maybe the simplicity of the plot and the positive messages it passes to the audience are enough to make this a great plot for some viewers, but it is not enough to convince me.
Another important point. There is absolutely no explanation why there are no male characters. Did males just go extinct? Was the studio too lazy to create male models? Or is having all cute girls cast the formula for success in anime this day?
The ending to the anime was satisfactory, yet nothing special or enlightening about the questions that remained unanswered.
Characters ~ 6
Our two heroines find a bunch of different animal girls every episode from furries to birds and reptiles.
While you have a huge cast of cute animal girls that would make Monster Musume jealous, they are easily forgettable as some of them simply request a favor to our main characters and do not provide anything else for the progression of the story. Pretty much like NPC's in common RPG games.
As for the main characters, Serval is a funny character, however, most of her jokes or funny moments are childish and fail to amuse me. As they became repetitive quickly.
Kaban was a good character, to be honest. Despite being a petty human without any special skill unlike the rest of the Friends she has proven to be the crucial element to save a lot of girls and helping solve many difficult problems posed to the Friends thanks to her incredible versatility and intellect. Showing the superior creativity and adaptability of the Human race.
There is nothing else to say about the rest of the cast as they did not really shine in any way. They basically represent a different animal with some issue to be solved by our heroes.
This anime emphasized nicely the differences between the human and animal mind and how they can cooperate to overcome their problems.
Animation ~ 4
The animation is not that bad. The backgrounds are pretty. It is nice how every zone symbolizes a different area of the Zoo.
The characters may be CG-animated but are distinct for the most part and represent a unique animal. But that does not hide the fact they are badly CG-animated girls with some animal trait.
Not the worst my eyes have witnessed in anime so far, but still unpleasant to look at. If not for the pretty backgrounds I would have rated this department a 2/10.
Sound ~ 6
The background sound of the anime is relaxing and atmospheric at times.
The OP and ED aren't really memorable, but the overall sounds of the show fit and give a feeling you take part of the adventure.
The slightly less pleasant sounds are some of the girl's voices. Some of them can sound really annoying to the point of making me cringe.
I did not really enjoy every musical choice, there was specifically one song in episode 8 or 9 that sounded like those overused songs used in no-scope montages by 12-year olds.
Personal enjoyment ~ 5
It's nice how the studio managed to make this child-friendly with a simple plot and characters that are suited for a younger audience, but also adding some mystery and a dark lore for the adult audience to actually get some interest for the show.
My main issue with this anime is: most of the episodes were focused on the trivial event and innocent encounters, making the anime boring for 90% of its duration. The only good episodes were the 11th and 12th, the rest was decent at best.
One positive point to note about this show is that it teaches the viewers about the unique traits the animals possess. Having some educational purpose is always a positive point.
I get what Kemono Friends tries to accomplish. It tries a unique approach to creating an anime suited for kids, but at the same time implementing some mystery to entertain the adults. However, the amount of pointless character interaction overshadowed the mystery.
It is also worth noting the comedy had absolutely no effect on me. Granted, I am hard to please when it comes to comedy as I find most of the anime jokes overused and repetitive. The "Please don't eat me!" joke quickly got repetitive after 2 uses.
To top it off, this has an open and inconclusive ending that only lowers my enjoyment. I like when the seasons work well individually without having to rely on a cliff-hanger to appeal for the next season. It is just cheap and too many anime do that.
It is not guaranteed you will not enjoy the anime simply because I did not. You might be a huge fan of the animal girls. The cheerful yet dark plot that attempts to be original and stand out between so many clichés and repetitive anime in 2017 might be enough to convince you, but not me though.
Overall Score ~ 5.3
TL;DR: Kemono Friends is a show I would mostly recommend watching with your kids or younger brothers and sisters, as the anime has no violence or fan-service and will not make you fall asleep like other kids shows do. It even passes positive messages to the viewers!
You might get disappointed if you are hoping for a mind-blowing conclusion. This is a simple anime that tells a story of friendship and cooperation and that is all.
Note that the real action only happens in 11th and 12th episodes. By the time it starts getting good, it is over. I could not enjoy an anime that was boring for the first 10 episodes and slightly interesting in the final 2.
If you are looking for good adventure anime with mystery, there are definitely better options, but this is definitely watchable.
