The concept is kinda similar. We see the daily life of the characters, mostly at home in their comfort zone. Also there are characters from another world. Sometimes we get to know more about the past life in the other world. Another similarity is that magic can be used in our world. Both series have their unique style of making jokes.

Both main characters are overpowered and have a similar personality. The world setting is a bit different but there are similarities e.g. that the relationship stays on being classmates. The biggest difference is in the language. The immortal King is chinese, has more Seasons and has a tiny bit slower story. --> It's the daily life... but its not that boring. If u don't hate the chinese style it should be alright. On the other hand we have the mc with an instant death ability. It's japanese with a faster storyline and is more merciless. There are a lot more people dying but the style is less bloody. Another positive aspect is that the mc is shown in a less perverted, more grown up way (He doesn't get nosebleeds when seeing a girl).
