You'll like it if:
• You enjoyed the comedic aspect of S1.
• You liked the character dynamics in S1 and want to see more of the side characters.
• You finished S1 and you just want more.
• Slice of Life is your thing.
You won't like it if:
• You expect the Horimiya plot to progress.
• You didn't like how the attention shifted from the main couple to the side characters in S1, cause you mostly liked the romance.
• You're not a fan of filler episodes...since this is basically a filler season.
• You couldn't care less about the side characters.
...
Story: Piece is unique in the sense that it's not really a second season, but rather some side stories that took place parallel to the key events of S1. So while there's no actual plot from start to finish, it complements and adds to what we already saw, with the stories themselves are pretty enjoyable.
Characters: While the characters' traits remain the same, we get to see more sides of them in Piece, which fleshes them out even more. I was delighted to see characters who didn't get to interact as much in the previous season share some moments and explore their new dynamics.
Art & Sound: As with the first season, nothing particularly mindblowing. but they serve their purpose well.
Personal enjoyment: Since my favorite thing about the first season was the everyday moments between the cast, Horimiya: Piece was up my alley. Even then, the lack of an overall direction made it occasionally hard to push through with the season. While I overall enjoyed it I would be hesitant to recommend it to everyone who liked S1.

You'll like it if:
• You're searching for a light-hearted high school romcom.
• You're tired of waiting 2 seasons for the main ship to confess and another 3 for them to hold hands.
• You miss those little fun moments in high school with your friends.
• You love the small instances that build the dynamic between characters.
You won't like it if:
• You want something drama-heavy.
• You're looking for a complex story.
• You absolutely despise even remotely cliche characters.
...
• You want the focus to be entirely on the main couple.
Story: Horimiya is a wholesome high school romcom, focusing on the relationship between Hori and Miyamura and by extension their friends, classmates, and families (at least Hori's) as they go on with their everyday lives. The whole premise is simple and down-to-earth and I think that's the strong suit of this show. The highs and lows never go out of proportion, making the situations and characters feel more realistic. The pacing is alright for the most part, some things regarding that aspect didn't really make sense to me but not to the point that it undermined my enjoyment.
Characters: This is what mostly drives the show. Somebody could argue that the characters are a bit cliche, but it's the dynamics between them and their back-and-forths (especially between the friend group) that give life to Horimiya and make it so nice to watch. Despite the main ship's name being on the title, most of the characters have their moments to shine despite the show's short run, which is something I always appreciate.
Art & Sound: The art is beautiful and compliments the story perfectly, and while nothing stood out to me from the soundtrack, I do feel that it set just the right tone, no complaints here.
Personal enjoyment: I loved Horimiya. I would say that in all its simplicity it is a unique show. Horimiya as a ship is realistic and adorable, and the cast's dynamics really made me feel cozy, like a part of that friend group, and a bit nostalgic. It is not a mind-blowing experience but it serves exactly what it promises.

Story: 3/10
I am a sucker for "dark" Mahou Shojo shows and while the story had potential it felt severely lacking. The pacing was alright (it is a slow burner but the reason is understandable), the way the story is told is alright but some things felt forced and while the mystery was keeping me from dropping the series, the reveal was disappointing. I think there is not enough information presented to give certain things substance and value; I felt as if they happened for the sake of happening.
Minor side note: there were a bunch of really uncalled-for panty shots and I wouldn't mind
...
if the context was that of an ecchi, but ... like ... they are just 14-year-olds running, why feel the need to use that angle?
Art: 5/10
It served its purpose, but that's about it, there were very few scenes that stood out to me visually. The Djinns and the different transformation outfits were kinda nice though, more in the sense that I was wondering what the next would be like.
Sound: 4/10
Not bad but forgettable (both the OST and the VA).
Characters 4/10
This is tricky. At first, I didn't like the characters, I felt as if I had seen the main girl cast a thousand times in different shows and I just couldn't care enough for them. But by the end I kinda liked them? They compliment each other and you get some glimpses of the worries and struggles of ALMOST* everybody important throughout the show and there are some moments with nice dynamics and I like that these are kinda subtle but they can be a bit too subtle. The protagonist, Ichika, did have her development, but although her whole premise is nice, it didn't really reach out to me. My biggest complaint is the antagonist, I don't know if I missed something, but as a character, it felt extremely flat, just served the purpose and that's it.
*some characters that appear in one episode are given much more background than characters present in all (or almost all, can't remember) episodes ...
Enjoyment 3/10
I watched the show at x2 speed after some point and still felt like I'm wasting my time. There were some brief moments I liked, some others felt so ridiculous, some others just bland. Overall quite forgettable, highly doubt I'm gonna revisit it.
Overall 4/10
I can see why some people like it, but to me, it felt painfully mediocre and not as well-executed as it could be. If you're looking for dark Mahou Shojo there are much better alternatives.

When I started watching Dantalian I was left speachless from the animation and the beauty of this anime...I thing it is a really good anime to watch.
~Story~ 9/10
The story is very interesting and it's a great match for this "Old England" themed anime. Although you know the most of the stuff that will happen, because every episode is like a motif, it is still pretty interesting to see diffrent character and diffrent situations.
~Art~ 10/10!!!!!
Oh my God! Dantalian no Shoka is one of the most beautiful animated creations I have ever seen!
Even if you are not keen
...
by the story or anything, you should watch it just for the animation. It is stunning.
~Sound~ 10/10
I thing both the Animation and the Music are beautiful. The opening is really really good, the background music gives you this old era feeling and the ending is pretty nice too.
~Characters~ 9/10
I really liked the characters of Dantalian. I haven't seen a lot of anime to know the stereotypes and all, but I think that the characters of Dantalian no Shoka were all unique and likable. And the relationship between Dalian and Huey was developed perfectly (I just thought that they would turn it into a romance thing...thank godness they didn't).Oh...and Flam is such a great character with so little screentime...she is my favourite!!
~Enjoyment~ 9/10
I liked that series a lot! The whole setting, the characters, the music...ok the animation was something else. Highly enjoyable series.
~Overall~ 9/10
Dantalian no Shoka is a great anime and I firmly believe that you sould watch it!!
*Thank you for reading my review ^^ I apologise for every mistake but english is not my mother tongue. Have an awsome day!! *

Sengoku Otome is a rather entertaining show! It is not the best, but is it good enough to cure boredom!!
~Story~ 8/10
The story was pretty simple and that's not bad at all. It had a pretty good pacing and it managed to complete the story between these 13 episodes. In my opinion,13 episodes were just right for this anime...uhm...I got nothing more to say about the story although I think I said too little...anyway the story was nice!
~Art~ 9/10
The animation was great! It was bright, the characters and the backgrounds were well-made and the fighting scenes were great too!
...
What's wrong with me! Why can't I write more?!
~Sound~ 7/10
Not a lot to be said here either. The background music and the opening and ending were nice but nothing really stood out. There was nothing that intresting about the sound...still nothing bad either!
~Characters~ 8/10
First of all, ALL the characters are females! All of them (ok exept one that does not really count). Hideyoshi is a "typical" schoolgirl that can be really annoying sometimes, Mitsuhide is the more mature one (although she can be annoying too,for a totally diffrent reason) and Nobunaga is the best of them all! She's likeble, strong and funny. The other characters are important too but I am not going into much detail. About the development of the characters...well...the anime tries to show you that the characters are changing as the series progresses but the truth is that only Mitsuhide does...
~Enjoyment~ 8/10
I liked this series mainly because I was looking for an anime with lots of girls with superpowers and such things. It was really enjoyable!
~Overall~ 8/10
Sengoku Otome is not a masterpiece. There is nothing that really stands out in the anime. However, it is a great way to kill your bordom. Something that I should mention is that the show contains some ecchi scenes, but personaly, even if I hate ecchi scenes in anime, I was not really annoyed, as there weren't many
*Thank you a lot for reading my review ^^ Have a nice day :D *

Angel Beats...laughter...tears...really Clannad-ish in the good way...
~Story~ 8/10
The story was really intresting as it makes you think what would you do if you realized that you was dead...would you accept it...deny it...feel lost...that's a good question!
Angel Beats also has great development of both the story and the characters. All the questions you and the character have will be answered when they are supposed to and the way that charaters act is different (Not out of character, just more mature.) as the show progresses
However the best thing in the story is the backstory
...
of each character. The backstory helps the viewer undestand the reason behind every action of the character. Unfortunately there are a lot of characters left with no backstory...but hey nothing is perfect right?
~Art~ 9/10
The animation is stunning! Every character is well designed, the fight scenes are really well done , the colours and everything is just...WOW!
~Sound~ 10/10
Again... WOW! To be honest, if GirlsDeMo were a real ife band I would definately be a fan. The songs were wonderful, I even like listening to them even after watching the show and the singing was very emotional (for example My Song or Ichiban no Takaramono that makes me cry every time I listen to it!).
~Charcters~ 9/10
There are some shows that even though the story is great, the character are just so annoying that you do not enjoy the whole show at all. Angel Beats is faaaar from that category! All the characters all likeable and you can relate to them at some extend. The development of the character is also great as the series progresses.
The thing is that it is okay if you are crying because I think that's the magic in the show. Feeling the characters...understand them...try to imagine youreself in their position.
And as I metioned before the backstories are a great thing in Angel Beats. However I got a little annoyed that some of the character had no development or backstory at all (like Shiina which I totally loved and the other GirlDeMo members). That's the only reason why I rated Characters 9/10.
~Enjoyment~ 8/10
Well I have to admit that this kind of anime is not my kind of tea. Don't thing of it as 2 point before 10. Instead thing of it as 8 points after 0! I just hate being in the emotional state these anime bring me in and I hate crying! However I really enjoyed this anime in whole!
~Overall~ 9/10
Angel Beats is a great anime! You will totally like it if you like Clannad and if you can easily relate to the characters. You will like it too if you like badass girl characters (Yurippe!!) and great fight scenes without tons of blood! I would highly reccoment to watch it!!!
*Thank you sooo much for reading my review ^^ I apologise for any mistakes (English is not my mother tongue) Watch Angel Beats!!*
