It's a 5 episode ONA so you can't really expect much. I'm sure the manga is wayy better as I feel like the story has so much potential. Personally, I love comedy (and thugs) and I found it very funny. The show is literally a mix of my two favorite things lol

The animation wasn't great and it did look like animated manga panels, but that didn't make it trash. I got used to it, occasionally cringing at the poorly drawn side characters XD and I also think it fits the whole atmosphere.

If you like/are an avid fan of comedy, definitely give this show a ... shot and it's only 5 episodes. It ain't gonna kill ya

Many people are rating this low just because it's more realistic. That doesn't mean it's bad. It's not dragging out a training montage, it doesn't have unrealistic characters, it has real-life problems.

Honestly, it's a really good anime. It's not THE BEST ANIME IN THE WORLD for me, but it's not bad like other people are saying.

If you like unrealistic characters, unbelievably hyp moments, good things always happening, this might not be for you.

If you're open to trying new things, like realism, like volleyball give it a try!

The OP and ED is very good and some moments are so heartwarming ^^

It had a very simple story, great if you want to just past the time. The character design and art style were beautiful and overall keep me very entertained! I expected it to be longer, but that was okay. There was some use of CGI/3D models so it could seem weird to some people. I recommend watching it if you have nothing else to watch or want to watch it with your family. It also had an important message. It's a 30-minute movie so you can't expect so much. Maybe if the story was developed more and make it longer. It would be great as ... a series. The story makes sense for the time frame.
