If you like a dynamic where men with rough exteriors, dangerous, illegal professions, have to take care of adorable young girls that only cause hassles for them, you will enjoy both of these shows. Both of the girls in these shows are bonkers, with Hina being a little older but not understanding typical human social morays while Miri is absolutely precious but is as chaotic and energetic as some young girls can be.

Yakusoku no Neverland

Both shows feature extremely intelligent juveniles facing extreme circumstances that not only have to come up with strategies to escape their certain demise, but also expose a corrupt society. Terror in Resonance is set in current-day Tokyo and feels a bit more like a detective/crime or heist series and is a little more atmospheric, whereas The Promised Neverland deals with elementary aged and younger children set in an earth quite different from our own that evokes more of an existential horror.

Both of these shows feature fast-paced, bloody action with eccentric characters with their fair share of nudity. The main characters of Andy and Fuuko in Undead Unluck somewhat remind me of Mako and Gamagoori in Kill la Kill.

[Oshi no Ko]

Erased and Oshi No Ko have similar "reincarnated into the body of a child" premises with deeper themes of mystery and murder. If you're interested in a show with a supernatural premise with intrigue and high stakes, Erased and Oshi No Ko both have a lot to offer.

Until Your Bones Rot is a great psychological thriller with many similar themes to Erased. Namely, both titles feature murder, kidnapping, conspiracy, and mystery, with the young protagonists having to deduce who and what is behind the gruesome happenings in their town. Until Your Bones Rot is a maturation of Erased's elementary school setting: featuring high schoolers, more graphic/disturbing imagery and sexual themes. Time is an important aspect in Erased — with the protagonist traveling back and forth in time to get information — whereas in Until Your Bones Rot, time plays its role more in the form of flashbacks/memories, and is itself important in determining the sequence of events to catch the evil mastermind. If you're ready for another suspenseful "whodunit" but more graphic, give Until Your Bones Rot a shot.

Golden Time

Toradora may be the GOAT of romantic comedy anime, but I think Golden Time deserves credit for being one of the of the other shows at the pinnacle of the genre. Toradora mainly revolves around high schoolers causing misunderstandings and not being honest with their own feelings towards each other, whereas Golden Time takes a step up and matures the theme with college aged students navigating a social landscape and further developing their relationships with their friends and loved ones. The comedy in Golden Time is more mature and well-developed than in Toradora and the characters are just as charming. If you want a show exactly like Toradora, Golden Time isn't it, but with similar themes, strong characters and compelling storyline involving a couple you oh-so-much want to see together, then Golden Time is for you.

Both of these shows are reverse harems involving an adorable and likable female protagonist who is so helplessly oblivious to her suitors' advances (so cute). Both have some subtle homoeroticism, but not enough to discourage viewers who aren't interested in that type of stuff. Many of the male characters butt heads and compete with each other to win the affection of the protagonist. The main difference is that Kiss Him Not Me revolves more around anime and otaku culture whereas Ouran High School Host Club is based on social class differences and crossdressing.

Both of these shows are similar in format. They focus on a girl or girls traveling around an unknown land and discovering new things around them. They both have episodic themes where they both explore a different philosophical concept, and give the viewer room to think versus having that view forced upon you. Girls Last Tour is a little more general and existential with its philosophy and lighter with its tone, and Kino's Journey focuses more on political philosophy and can be quite violent at times.

Both Made In Abyss and A Place Further Than the Universe feature young, middle to high school age children and their love for the great beyond. Shirase and Riko are both traveling to harsh lands to find their mothers and make friends and allies along the way. Made In Abyss has a dark tone, violence and some truly heart wrenching moments while A Place Further Than the Universe is lighthearted, more like a Slice of Life show like K-ON. However, if you are captivated by unfamiliar, harsh landscapes and exploring the unknown then you will love both of these shows.
