The way Konosuba manages to bring comedy to the excess of fanservice is surprising.
The film's humor is very good, I say it's on the same level or if not even better than the first and second seasons.
The animation, sound effects and soundtrack are perfect, they knew how to use the soundtrack well at the right moments.
It was a good idea to bring a film focusing on Megumin's hometown, a character who was already very beloved by fans.
We need more films with this quality.

When I started watching I had high expectations, because it's an isekai with DC villains, like what's the chance of being disappointed?
Well... the characters don't always manage to make an uninteresting story interesting. My biggest complaint is the story, in my opinion it's boring, lots of random characters involved, the fact that they wanted to transform the suicide squad into a squad of heroes didn't work. To be honest the firsts episodes caught my attention, but after watching a few episodes I lost interest and only finished it out of curiosity if the ending would be good. And I was disappointed again...

It's been a while since I've seen an anime as well done as this one, it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say this is a masterpiece.
The story is very captivating and creative, the characters have remarkable development. The opening and sound effects are impeccable! The two openings are very beautiful, I remember the lyrics of each of them. Another thing that is important to highlight, the flashbacks are very well used, they explain the story in a simple but well explained way. Overall, it's an anime well above the average of those currently being produced, it's definitely worth watching. |
