This for me is one of the best sports manga/manhwa that I have read, though it is true that I haven't read much. I thoroughly enjoyed it throughout its run and I was honestly quite devastated that it got axed, though I guess I appreciate that they didn't continue it with a downgrade in art style or any decrease in quality which is happening to quite a bit of manhwa as of recent.
Plot:
The story starts off for me quite slow as I am more used to action packed shit. Though the momentum quickly picks up as the mc's motivation and drive continues to develop
...
with him. In my opinion the conflict itself is quite lackluster as we don't really get to see the mc struggle much (his conflicts continuously gets resolved one by one without much effort by him). What the story lacked in the conflict was carried by the interesting progression in story as he slowly got better and we see how the world around him is affected with his rise.
The story doesn't really complete itself as from what I hear it got axed. Though thankfully it was able to complete or at least led to the next step some of its thematic setups. So, the ending though not completely satisfying is a point in which the story could end as it did make a sort of goodbye wrap up moment.
Characters:
This for me is what absolutely cements this story as one of my favorites. The characters are all interesting and memorable which I guess is also influenced by the artstyle (which I will touch upon again later). Even less essential characters like some reoccurring fans are quite memorable due to how they are used effectively to display the audience's perception of the players. The reporters are also given some character as they are given reasons for the audience to hate or like them. Even the minor supporting characters are also built upon quite well as they are easily distinguishable from how they look and act which I feel like increases the realism feel of the story.
Moving on to the main supporting cast they are built upon very well in my opinion though with some aspects that I wished could be done better. The main rival for example was only prominent in the beginning of the story and I guess needed to take a back seat to show off the other side 'villains' though I would have enjoyed a greater sense of rivalry between them. The love interest though quite cliche, is not annoying. Often times the stupid cliche love interest usually becomes annoying as they make stupid conflicts for the mc, which does not happen here which I enjoy.
The main cast which not really spoiler but is the mc and ghost is such a fun duo. Individually the mc is actually quite boring as he basically always gets what he needs like luck is legit his skill. He is of course fun due to his high energy and confidence which always brings hype to the story. Their dynamic though is legit really good. You could actually feel a sense of a real relationship between them like a mentor and a mentee. Even though Kim Jinho likes to tease and annoy the mc, he still acts like a genuinely good mentor offering good advice and motivation when mc most needs it. And even though mc teases kim jinho and likes to ignore his naggings truly looks up to him and wants to be like him.
Art:
The art is really really good as it gives so much hype for this manhwa. It makes baseball look cool as fuck and I personally think baseball is such a boring sport. When the mc throws a pitch the art makes excited as it feels very dynamic. When the ball gets hit by the baseball bat or when it is caught you can actually feel it even though it is just a picture. The artstyle is able to very clearly demonstrate to us the audience the expressions of all the characters including all the intense and hype moments.
Overall:
It is such a great story in my opinion even though it ends abruptly I thoroughly enjoyed its run. I actually felt depressed for a bit because it ended how it ended ,since it ended how most manhwa would be like a season end. We just opened up to a new world but it was the end of the story sadly. I love it and really recommend it for anyone really as it is just genuinely a fun read.
All I could really say in the end is, WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!.

To begin with I would say that the manhwa does a lot of things well enough that has led me to enjoy it throughout its run, though the same thing couldn't be said about its ending that was very clear how abrupt it was. It is actually quite saddening that it had to end this abruptly as according to those who read the novel (not me) it gets even deeper and more interesting.
Plot:
The plot may at first seem fairly cringy as personally it reminds me of other isekai stories that begin like such (getting seperated from class when summoned to another world), that leads mc
...
to become edgy and recluse. In this story mc doesn't become that annoying and cringe. One thing it does though that follows its predecessors in this type of subset of isekai is spending too much time with the other perspective (idk what to call it), which could have been used instead to develop the main character.
Characters:
The main sidecast that follows the mc is fairly interesting as they serve as guides to the mc in this foreign world, but are also made in a way that shows their individual personalities. Each character evokes different characteristics from mc thus bringing to us a more rounded mc from which we can see his good and bad. I do have qualms though with the characters of his original class as they are all very one sided characters, which barely have any development in character. And the character that gets the most character building from them is the worst one.
Art:
The art is something that is fairly basic I feel. Nothing to praise yet nothing to complain about either. The art is consistent at least in my eyes which is something that I commend that they kept even nearing the end where the story got axxed.
Overall:
It is an enjoyable series which gives a goofy little twist to isekai that I feel is yet to be overdone but is not revolutionary. If you ask if I would recommend it I would say no, but if you ask if I would advise you against reading it I wouldn't say so as well. It is an ok series but the ending is very disappointing. It could probably be used as a starting point for reading the novel though (that is what I'm gonna do).

Overall it is an amazing story that has its melancholic points and its exciting points. It is one of the first manhwa I have read and it is still one of my favs to this day. The only thing that I have against it is how the english TL's names seem really goofy if you know what I mean and kind of puts me off at some points in the story.
Story:
Although there are many school gang manhwa type stuff this is one of my favorites because of how its story is told. It doesn't go over the top with crazy insane shit and mostly stays
...
within the grounds of reality (to a certain extent of course). One thing that I love most is how it isn't stretched at all. There is one big bad introduced in the beginning and that is the end. All around the story gives itself time and pacing to go step by step reaching the end goal.
The ending is definitely one that is great in some ways while lackluster in other ways. Maybe it is just how I was feeling while reading the chapters but although the build up to the finale was insanely hype I wasn't that hyped as the finale was happening. The final twist is definitely something that came out of a left field and finally I became completely invested in the story again. I am not saying that at any point the story became boring but the finale wasn't as insane as I hoped it would be.
The flashbacks to moments before the story began is also really good as we see how the current ecosystem came to be from how each character knows each other to how systems that exist came to be. The flashbacks are also really amazing at giving the aspirations of each character and why they do things.
Characters:
Definitely one of the stronger points in weak hero is the characters. Each of the main cast is explored enough so that we understand their positions and emotions. The arcs that explore the individual characters are some of my favorite actually as it takes a break from the grand goal and explores the values and goals of a character and understand what makes them who they are. Even the majority of the main antagonists are explored to the point that I can understand them and to a certain extent feel for them. The story is also really great in its character to character interactions, as we can see the hate/care/respect one character has towards the other that has been built before the story even began.
Art:
The art is great all around from how the characters look to how the movements seem fluid and natural even though it is just panels. An amazing thing that I have to say though is how great the emotional scenes are drawn such as the sad scenes or the angry scenes. The close up angles shown in panels where stylized depictions of the situations show the gravity of the situation. The characters expressions are really great as they show us exactly how the characters feel and also prelude us to their intentions.
Overall:
Good action, good story, cool interesting characters. School violence type of story that stays within the realm of reality enough that I seems pretty legit (like probably could happen idk how korean laws work). Still kinda annoyed by the english TL's of the names of the characters though with the worst in my opinion being Doland Na (no one is named donald these days come on man). Great story though.

The story overall is an interesting one with a plot that starts of kind of weird and interesting but slowly starts to became a tad bit to predictable but still stays fun. I came into this story expecting a real wacky one but turns out it isn't that wacky which I am kind of disappointed in but in the same time I'm not really complaining.
Plot:
For me it sort of feels like your typical reincarnate as a side character in an otome game type of stories, but it doesn't really focus onto the supposed FL. A great thing as well is that there never really is
...
a bland moment as the plot starts and ends with just one main big bad essentially and it doesn't feel like it gets dragged on for too long.
Now the romance plot of it is pretty basic I would say. Although there are sweet, cute and wholesome moments with our main romance it is pretty boring and the romance of the side characters is far more interesting imo.
Characters:
The characters are mostly great and even the side characters are mostly well developed. That is the main issue I have with this story though, the development of each character. I feel as though most characters are just given a simple backstory then done, with development of character reserved just for the main characters. Even then it feels pretty lackluster.
Now is the reason for the spoiler warning as well as a reason why I can't give this story a 9 and that is the ML. I don't hate him but I think he is so boring, I feel as though the story didn't really let him develop. He actually seems like a fucking tragic guy with a lot of heavy emotional baggage that he has to carry which could be super interesting if it was explored more.
Art:
The art is really cool looking which can be seen from the simple aspects like the clothing and the expressions of the characters, but also in the detail of the few fight scenes there are. The art also matches when it is a serious moment or a comedic one.
Overall:
It is definitely a nice read if you're bored and want a little taste of some isekai otome game shit. Don't expect to be wowed that hard though as it still follows quite a lot of cliches. It is fun, cute and wholesome though for the most part and isn't that all that we need in our life.

I finished a while ago and I finally have come to terms with the ending.
I have read it essentially from the beginning and of course all that I expected of it was goofy ecchi shit and at least it delivered on that. The story at first was actually quite interesting and I had actually sorta enjoyed the manga for the plot while of course the "plot" was still amazing. After a while though the story started to feel less exciting and interesting. As the scale of the problems and supposedly the stakes got bigger the less interesting it became for me. I was reading it
...
weekly though so it wasn't really a burden to read a chapter a week so I stayed. The last arc was kind of bland that I didn't even realize until the last few chapters that it was the end.
I don't really mind the ending per se but I think that the reasoning for (you know) was kinda bs at least in my opinion. I expected that that was how the ending was going to be and so did a lot of the people who read this. But I at least though that there was going to be a good reason for it.
Overall though for what it is, it is a pretty decent manga with a pretty decent plot and of course the amazing "plot". I never really feel bored when reading. Tbh through I just like it for the fan service it's not the worst story but the story isn't really my cup of tea.

It was a nice and enjoyable read to say the least as it is a slice of life manga which I didn't really expect much from. In general this is one of your typical misunderstandings cause hilarious hijinks type manga. What made it interesting though was the relations between each character and how each misunderstanding just makes their interactions based on past encounters to be even more funny. They all don't have certain information that holds them back from grasping the entire situation which helps the story to lead them to the most funny conclusions. The comedic elements of the manga really get to me
...
as they combine the ridiculousness of the situation with the misunderstandings each character has.
I thoroughly enjoyed all the main characters as we at first only knew them from their archetypes and slowly learned and understood more about them. Each character was able to truly shine in their own moments, but we also see their flaws. Of course as a comedy there is not really a need to actually explore the characters individually but I felt the story did pretty well in letting use understand each character and their circumstances.
The ending felt kinda rushed as the final multiple chapter arc didn't really felt that satisfying. Such as the story has been throughout though the ending was unexpected yet sweet in its own way. In conclusion although this manga is a good fairly short read that makes you double take a few times with the sheer ridiculousness that occurs.

This story is honestly just pretty good from beginning to end. It was a pretty interesting twist to the whole monster invasion dungeon gate genre. Where our main character instead of using something like a system or an op ability gets a pretty interesting ability which at first won't seem like it would be pretty powerful but by coincidence and fate the ability became really useful. The original premise is actually pretty interesting and exciting but the plot was carried out fairly blandly and the characters are also very bland where they basically only have 1 characteristic and are never developed further. I literally don't
...
remember any part of the manhwa where I felt truly hype and truly felt with the characters of the story. The ending especially is not good it was rushed and so many stupid things happened that made it lose all stakes. It is long so I actually won't recommend if you are looking for something to read, but if you are looking for specifically a gate dungeon type manhwa this one ain't bad.

This manga is the first manga I have read weekly from beginning to the end and although I enjoy it, it isn't that great. I love the main character mashle thoroughly but the side characters definitely leave a lot to be desired. While the main side characters are pretty cool and I do get hyped for them when they battle I don't really care as much as I would with other series. I wouldn't say the plot is bland but it definitely isn't all that great. The plot is pretty straight forward which I like but it doesn't give the chance to really explore the
...
world. I like that it didn't stretch that long and that it ended at a decent high note. In the end it is a good read but don't expect a revolutionary or insanely intricate story. Just a good read for a fun time.
