Kingdom to me just lacks class. I think series that handle heavy and ambitious topics should be treated with adequate respect and sense of tonality/tact befitting them. Kingdom fails terribly in this regard for me, just feels like a childish iteration especially relative to the only other "War" manga I read that also covers a certain period in ancient Chinese history (The Ravages of Time). I wasn't very fond or impressed with Kingdoms characters or story. Only perspective I found genuinely interesting is Ei Sei's. The Art style wasn't a problem as I was reading it but looking back on it I just don't really ... like it. This is how I feel with kingdom entirely, when I was reading the series it was actually fairly enjoyable and easy to read but as I look at on it I just don't care and don't find it good/impressive. As for If I would recommend it to others. I would. I think the average person isn't going to care about the problems I have with it and if they do care probably won't be to the same extent at all. I think if you are looking to have fun, you'll get what you came for.

I rate the visual novel a 10 and thats what I'll be speaking about. The House in Fata Morgana is one of the most tragically beautiful series I have ever come across. Arguably the most emotional stories I have ever come across. An all time favorite for me across all mediums and an experience I will never forget. Instead of yapping below I will list some strengths I believe it has and weakness to keep things quick.
Strengths:
Amazing and consistent atmosphere.
Great Cast (4 Characters that stand out far above the rest, as for the rest they are solid as well)
Amazing Narrative that is built on ... a plethora of mysteries and plot twists that are all handled with care and finesse.
Extremely cathartic
Nice befitting art style/aesthetic.
One of the best, if not the best soundtrack ever.

Weaknesses
Quite Long (This could be a strength for some!)
Quite Slow, Very Dialogue/Interaction heavy (I think this is great and heavily befits the medium of Visual Novels.
No Voice Acting (Not necessary in my opinion but yeah.
Not Very accessible since its a visual novel. Unless you have like a Ps5

I honestly don't find the series to have any flaws aside from it not being the most accessible. Anyways that's all for now, if you have any questions let me know!

Umineko is a story I believe for those with no standards, or rather I should say, its for those with very different standards from me. I think this series is quite cool conceptually but handled very poorly at times. It is very repetitive. I also find its characters outside of Beatrice to not be even slightly compelling lol. There were many times where I found myself quite bored I was just reading to progress, not because I was interested which isnt a healthy way to experience anything. I think Umineko is very lacking in atmosphere, compelling characters, and class. The manga is terrible, no ... trace of the author in his work because he didn't draw any of it. He's not a mangaka so he had many other mangaka draw it and handle it. If we are talking about the visual novel I think the usage of that medium for Umineko is also lack luster but in some regards much better then the manga. If you haven't read much manga or have "No standards" I would definitely give this a try, however if you have read good manga like lets say, HxH, Vagabond, Eden It's an Endless World, Akira, Please Save My Earth and etc then I don't recommend this at all.

One Piece is a series that has much of what you want but also leaves a lot to be desired. There are many things the series does quite well, and there are many things it just does not do or fails to do at an adequate/consistent level. I’ll give two examples. One is one pieces world building and how grand and ambitious it is, alongside its narrative. This is does well but it also is a double-edged sword because my next example is…Character Writing in One Piece I believe is awful. Especially considering how long it is. There are too many characters, too many places, ... too many events, ideas, and conflicts that there just isn’t enough to also be able to have good, consistent and compelling characters. Now many would disagree…a that’s fine. If you have low standards then I envy you genuinely I wish I still had them but unfortunately, I don’t.

The next aspect I’ll talk about is that I believe One Piece is a great series to start someone out on early. I think if you wait too long and allow the viewer/reader to build their “taste” or “values” that it could end up hurting their experience. Of course, this just isn’t the case for everybody so do as you will. Regardless at some point in time give it a try but when you do make sure you understand that what you get in first 100 chapters or episodes is what you will get for the rest of the series. Some aspects will get much worse, while some get much better and much more interesting.

Do I believe the story deserves its hype? Sure, I think it’s good and at times can be quite enjoyable. I think it’s ambitious and I respect that. It’s trying to do much more than many other works do, and I understand that that means some aspects will end up being lack luster relative to other works that literally focus on those aspects. I however do not think this work is Top 10 worthy for me personally but still great and can totally understand it being Top 10 for others.
