lmao yea my manga list is stacked, tbh Im not a huge fan of action heavy manga since i just prefer anime as a medium for that so all the mangas I wanna read are slice of life or romance or slow fantasy.

You're so right about last season being stacked tho i was a huge fan of both frieren and maomao. As for airing anime right now the only non sequels im watching are kaiju no.8 and wind breaker and Im enjoying it a fair bit. Some of the sequels are pretty good too like mushoku tensei and konosuba (i was gonna watch slime too but decided to watch it after it finishes airing because of the dogshit pacing of the first quarter of the season).

The most surprising one this season tho, it has to be the spice and wolf remake, back when i watched the original and I enjoyed it but the older animation kinda capped my enjoyment of it a fair bit,(and season2 was lowkey kinda trash). So when i heard the remake is gonna be following the light novels without cutting or skipping anything I was really hyped. The new gen animation also really upped my enjoyment of the series and it was so cool of them to bring back the same voice actors for it. honestly this the romance anime of the season for me, and I cant wait for more seasons I hope the anime is popular enough for the studio to adapt the whole story instead of just stopping after s1.

As for future upcoming anime Im looking forward to sakamoto days and dandan, Ive wanted to read the mangas for a long time but my friends told me to hold back since theyre bound to get an adaptation sooner or later so im hyped for that.

For villainess manhwa ngl the quality for most of these is worse than the manga counterparts despite the better art character design and length(like shitton of chaps)
a decent one off the top of my head is "not just anyone can be a villainess" i had a good amount of fun with it.
for fantasy I havent seen witch hat atelier so imma check it out right away and the sports ones ive seen all of them. Also I love accomplishments of the duke's daughter I was hyped to check out villainess who will go down in history but got crushed when i saw it only had 18 chapters, but such is the fate of villainess mangas.
As for romcom I havent heard of most of these except for pseudo harem and misoshiru de kanpai and i loved both of them so im hyped for the rest. Have you read, "Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity" or "Blooming love"? those are my current top ongoing romance mangas right now. "Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You" is also a really underrated one

The alchemist ones sound great I was looking for something to read so imma try them out. Im pretty into the villainess genre too, have u read "An Observation Log of My Fiancée Who Calls Herself a Villainess" its short with only 36 chapters but its really good. It kinda sucks how most villainess mangas are very short or have abhorrent release schedules so I go to manhwas to get longer stories.
For my favorite genre hmm I love everything from a pure shounen sports anime like haikyuu to a wholesome romcom like "dangers of my heart" to a explorative world building fantasy like frieren, The only genre I dont really like drama, cus most of the ones ive seen resort to cheap tricks like misunderstandings and bad communication or character assassination events so its kinda driven me away from the genre. My current obsession tho is finding a good kingdom building manga/manhwa cus ive already read all the major ones.
Also that news about s4 of of the anime is insane I never expected wit studios to do it, Im glad its getting the justice it deserves I loved all the prior seasons so Im looking forward to it.

Hm theres some minor crafting elements but if you havent seen it already Ascendance of a Bookworm is really good with its world building.
Tbh most world building heavy isekai like "nombiri nouka" or "log horizon" or "realist hero" usually incorporate infrastructure building or improvement in them so they're really enjoyable.
Also about alchemist isekais, are there really a lot of them? I really like the idea but I havent read any other than "Cheat Kusushi no Slow Life" and "isekai yakkyoku"(which idk if its alchemy since its medicine but i enjoyed it). If youve got any recommendations like that then Id love them.
Jin_20 May 25, 6:12 PM
Yep it starts off that way but the other characters do get a little more polish after some episodes. As for fantasy man ngl for crafting related isekais are kinda niche so theres not many out there so craft-gurashi is probably as good as it gets theres a few alright ones here n there like "kajiya de hajimeru isekai slow life" or "Let's Buy the Land and Cultivate It in a Different World" .If you dont mind reading manhwa's then id highly recommend "The greatest estate developer" its pretty different from craft gurashi but it has really really good comedy and great character chemistry, honestly one of the best manhwa out there
Jin_20 May 24, 4:45 AM
Wotakoi, romantic killer, servant x service and spice & wolf are some decentish ones I can think of off the top of my head, its not the exact same as craft-gurashi but its full of wholesome bantering

Hi :3

Thanks for thanking me! I've been meaning to update those lists so I think I'll do it when spring break starts,

I think if you weren't interested in the anime you probably won't like the manga either, although, in my opinion, the manga is cleaner and more to the point.
It’s time to ditch the text file.
