I never cried with an anime like I did with Clannad ~After Story~. Its a mix of a lot of feelings which cant be explained.
It is not only an anime that hits hard in the heart but as the program progresses it makes you reconsider your way of thinking and what to do in a delicate situation, and that is what makes it extremely special.
It is necessary to mention that Clannad ~After Story~ has a prequel, Clannad, and to tell the truth it is a great step to delve into the plot properly and not leave any loose ends along the way. With that

said, let's start the review :
The plot is presented to us clearly and quickly. Following in the footsteps of its prequel Clannad After Story returns with a more serious and less childish tone as events happen one after another. It is necessary to add that the predominant genre is Romance with a few touches of SoL and Tragedy/Drama. If you are not a big fan of these labels, I ask you to please at least give it a chance.
As for the animation, it is perfect for the time and it shows that it has not aged badly. Kyoto Animation did very well with this anime, giving it a nostalgic and magical touch at the same time.
We continue with the OST, probably the best aspect of the series behind the plot. Those instrumental sounds make you feel sad or happy depending on the tone of the melody and also warn you about what the atmosphere is like within the anime at certain moments.
What else could I say about this wonderful series? It has been a great journey through 50 chapters full of emotions, unforgettable characters and of course with that feeling that this anime is on the rise as the chapters go by. It will be difficult to match and I hope it remains in my memory for a long time, I prefer for eternity if possible.
