In my opinion it was good but not great. It was nice to see Iketani improve his racing skills tho.

The fact that they finally met and then Mako decided to go to Tokyo and they didn't get that much love or couple time as Kazumi and Itsuki is just sad. But considering that Itsuki's relationship was worse than Iketani's then at least Iketani and Mako are okay. I mean that they are glad that they got to talk to eachother and are not heart-broken or something. Although I almost thought that Iketani was about to make the same mistake twice but gladly he got ... to contact Mako that he had a flat tire.

Nothing much really happened in here but I rate it 7/10 because it was okay but not great.

I dunno where to start honestly.

For Takumi he Joined project D and he beat every opponent he faced one by one with his 86. He used some techniques like turning his front lights off and suprising the opponents sometimes but not always. I like that technique. I also liked the Miata vs AE86 race, it was good that the driver was okay after he crashed his Miata and kept a promise to his wife.

For the other characters life like Itsuki was unexpected and sad, I really feel for him. He had a crush for a woman Kyoko and she decided to go for the other ... man. Itsuki literally had feelings for her and she decided to go her own way I guess. I was suprised that a woman got a crush on Keisuke. I think in the beginning the relationship wasn't that good but later it got better and then went even worse. Although, Kazumi's car was a big help for Keisuke in one race because his one wasn't able to race. Because the opponents were bully type guys or something and dropped oil on the road on purpose what made Keisuke lose control and make a small crash.

I think overall this was a good stage, not as good as the first 1-3 but It was good that Takumi has made big progress and made this far.
Overall rating for me 9/10 really.

It's almost the same good as the first stage.
The only difference is the animation and looks on characters and less ep. Very good Anime in my opinion, story is good too. I recommend everyone to watch it even if your not a Weeb/Otaku. Much action and some sadness too.

I think that characters were overall well-minded but few were stupid to make mistakes and stuff. The situations and events were realistic in my opinion but some parts may be unrealistic for me. I can't give examples now tho.

There were included car parts and other what are familiar to me because I know about ... cars and how they work. How the engine works and what mechanical parts do

I really recommend everyone to watch this! The story and characters are amazing!
I got to find new songs/music from it and they are BANGERS.

As a car mechanic my friend recommended me to watch it and since I and my friend are working at a Toyota dealership, I like JDM and Japan cars, racing, Japan itself, Anime etc. I and my friend are working in there total for 5-6 months and I will leave working in there in 2025 summer because I am still a student finishing 12th grade(I need to complete the car mechanic exam). So I thought why wouldn't I start watching it, ... and I did start watching it.

I watched almost everyday at least 1 ep a day of Initial D stage 1. Sometimes I was just so excited when very interesting moments came and it put a smile on my face when I watched it. There were sometimes cliffhangers so I had to watch more than 1 ep a day.
Overall 10/10 from me.

I honestly don't remember when I watched for the first time in my life. When I was younger I found the DVD in my country home and watched and I loved it. I didn't know that it was actually Japanese. I was suprised that there was a option to put my mother language in dubbed. But when I put it to English I couldn't understand almost anything. I had watched it like at least 4 or 5 times because I was so bored in my grandparents place because they didn't have internet in there. I still have the DVD somewhere in my home.

I loved the ... movie because it had the bandits or you know the bad guys who had a duty to kill Pero. I liked that they were constantly chasing and fighting all the time. It was much more fun honestly than the original puss in boots where they didn't have that kind of thing. I still can't believe they made a puss in boots cartoon in 1969. The movie was also very interesting and funny, I highly recommend people to watch it! Also the Intro is also a masterpiece and a so good song that will always stay in my heart because of the childhood.
