The main protagonist joining the 'terrorists' and later finding out that they are actually the good guys etc etc and many more similar things. Both shows just give the same feeling, you'll know when you whatch ;D

Tengen Toppa somehow looks like a parody of Macross Frontier to me.

Ozuma reminded me of Holand... But that's not the point. Both talk about galaxy and coexisting with other life forms. And lots of robots fighting in both. And in both anime at the end everyone comes back to live on earth, if remember correctly.

If you liked Kumo no Mukou, Yakusoku no Basho add

...then you might like Byousoku 5 Centimeter add

Same drawing style and similar characters. Both are great and worth watching. Even thought "Place promised..." is a bit more apocalyptic they still match each other perfectly. If you liked animation, characters and landscapes of "5 cm/s" then you will definitely like "Place promised in our early days" .

...then you might like Giniro no Kami no Agito add

Both have very similar characters. Renton is just like Agito: sometimes stupid and funny but very heroic and brave when needed. Eureka is very similar with Tula: both are different from normal people, sometimes strange and heroic. In this movie main characters are two young people just like in Eureka seven. I find these very similar.
