Disclaimer: I read this manga in Japanese, in order to learn Japanese. I did not understand every single word the characters said, but with this manga it was pretty fine.
Yoru no namae wo yonde (Call the name of the night) is a wholesome story about a sick girl exploring the world. The girl has a condition that when she feels anxious, she turns the world around her into 'the night'. Everything becomes black and no one can see anything. Due to this condition she has experienced a lot of trauma, and her parents brought her to a magician to cure her. The magician (who often
...
wears maid dresses) is trying to show the girl the world and make her able to control her curse.
The drawings are magnificent, and very cute. There are few characters, but they are all very well designed and written. The world feels like a different world, and like there is a lot of the world we don't get to see.
The chapters are mostly self-contained, but do follow each other. There's plenty of chapters in one book.
I will definitely continue reading the series once the next books release, and suggest you do to!
