Seikon no Qwaser is one anime that is easy to binge watch. There are a few reasons as to why I think that, but for now lets focus on the series.
The story takes place in Japan, and was told in a somewhat cryptic way. It doesn't really make sense until the later episodes when more things are happening and is tied together. It is a rather simple story, but I didn't find it particularly boring to watch. I found the pacing to be quite mediocre. At times, you can tell a few things were rushed and at other times it felt a bit slow. The

comedical moments in Seikon no Qwaser were pretty funny while the Ecchi and fanservice were desireable. There were a few tropes that I felt were done right, and there were some that didn't really sit well.
The art style does feel a bit old school compared to other series. It is a bit standard for this style of animation. I think the creator accomplished their goal in setting the mood with the art style. If there was any CGI used in this anime, then it blended really well cause I couldn't tell if there was or not. The style and quality of the animation stayed the same throughout the series, and the animation was fluid. The backgrounds are a bit copy and paste, but fit well for the anime. The character's designs were nice and fit their personalities well. The character's were unique between them, but did remind me of a few other anime.
I felt that some of the voices didn't match the characters. The main male protags voice sounded off to me as he sounded wayy older than he looked and was. The background music was great and fit the atmosphere of the story. I did find how some tracks highlighted certain scenes. I would find myself listening to some of the OST. I didn't really like some of the endings and the first opening was average. I really liked the second opening and felt it fit the show more than the first.
The characters were pretty well made. They each had their flaws, quirks, and strengths. The extra characters reacted to situations in a pretty realistic way which made it more interesting. The MCs reacted a bit unrealistic at some points. The characters did grow, but each in their own way. I found that some characters were more fleshed out than other characters. The supporting cast was only fleshed out on a few, but some were still cryptic. I did dislike the character Miyuri, and I don't think the creator had the intentions of you disliking them. She tended to be quite annoying at times. I do think I will remember some of the characters, but not their full names.
I do think that others would like this series because of the soundtrack and art. The ecchi parts may turn off people and I can see why people would dislike the series because of that. If you aren't an anime or manga fan you probably wouldn't like this work. I would like to re-watch this anime in the future, and probably watch the whole thing over. I wouldn't like to own this series, and it is kind of memorable. Some scenes from the anime will definitely stay in my mind.
Hope you enjoyed this review. This is my first review, and I hope that it helps you on deciding to watch this series.
