Komi-san wa, Comyushou desu.

Both are quite normal sol/ romance with the features of the main characters setting them apart from other school anime. Hori is a typical popular girl...except she is super homely at home and Miyamura is an introvert except he has many piercings and tattoos. Tadano is a generic mc except he can scarily read the room well, Komi is a cliche ojo-sama except she struggles to communicate. Both of these 'special' things slowly wear out as the plot continues and makes the show quite boring. While every Komi-san ep has a formula, Horimiya is just a premise and watching them go on wih their lives. Both have great animation and similar characters.

Both shows are quite misunderstood with its main trope being slice of life, while they both have darker elements like supernatural and fantasy. Bunny girl senpai is more romance than kyoukai no Kanata, but both have smooth animation and similar male mcs. The supernatural trope is wuite differently presented, but both are quite misunderstood. I highly recommend both.

Kawaii dake ja Nai Shikimori-san

Both feature a strong female lead and have elements of romance. Although the overall chemistry between the characters are different, they still manage a slice of life comedy. Both Misaki and Shikimori have gaps in their personality, where Misaki turns into sweet and cute Misa~chan, Shikimori turns into a delinquent and a cool type of person.

Both have a similar cast, with a black-haired mc who doesn't care about his life, a girl who reintroduces him to life, a brown-haired girl who has unrequited feelings for one of the characters, and a brown-haired bestie who pushes the mc to embrace his life. They also have beautiful animation and interesting side characters. I prefer Hyouka over Your Lie in April because of the character development.
