Most people would probably agree that prioritizing non-canon movies over canon manga content adaptations is wrong, because most of the time these movies don't offer anything good except some high-budget animation and this is the exact case with the World Heroes' Mission.
Story : 4/10
I think it's safe to say that if you take the good animation away, it leaves nothing more than a really generic story. And I'm not even surprised with that. Although this movie takes a concept of Quirk's Doomsday Theory mentioned in the original manga, it doesn't really present or elaborate on it in any interesting way and uses it
...
as a plot device for our heroes to scatter around the world and fight. So if you were expecting this movie to actually be story relevant then well.. it's not, did you really expect it to be? Besides that it's all pretty generic stuff - villain wants to change the world, because he was wronged blah blah blah he gets beaten up by our greatest hero that pulls of his trump card of an absurdal, silly power-up at the end, no surprises there. That said - if you don't mind a generic story, then hear me out on the good part of this movie which is the animation.
Art : 8/10
Here we come to the star of the show and by that I mean the only star of the show really.. The animation is great, it's fluid and really makes the characters and the world feel alive and for me that's the main selling point of this movie. There are many cases of media that solely rely on attracting the viewer by outstanding visuals, but for more demanding viewers that's not gonna cut it. That being said, if you'd like to enjoy some 'epicly' animated fights then go ahead and give it a go.
Sound : 6/10
The sound design and voice-acting is alright, nothing much to write about. Soundtrack-wise there's a lot of music tracks previously used in the earlier BNHA seasons, but I don't really mind it. I'm also pretty sure there were few new variants of already existing ost's in this movie, so that is welcome. And let's not forget this movies' insert song (?) "Empathy" by Asian Kung-fu Generation, it's pretty neat.
Character : 5/10
From character stand-point I have few things to say :
First : most of the characters are reccuring and if I remember correctly, this movie was marketed as "all the heroes get together and save the world together" or smth in those lines? Well they did gather and fought a bit, but as you might have guessed, our main trio had most of the spotlight once again, leaving most of the other character serving a purpose of filling the movie run-time and I'm going to say it once more : no surprises there. If you're looking for your fave side characters to shine, then go watch Heroes Rising, it does a better job at that. So what about the new characters? Well Rody is alright, he has a cool design, but overall he isn't a really complicated character, but I don't think he really has to be. Him and Deku becoming buddies felt light-hearted and cheerful which I really liked and his role in the movie was alright. Then we have main antagonist and his goons. So yeah the antagonist is basically a Megamind-looking dude that wants to eradicate quirks, he's pretty one-dimensional and his backstory is boring. Then we have his goons : The bow-lady, the twins with extending sword arms quirk and others. Well all these characters are movie-only so don't expect them to show up again. The best character from this movie was the egyptian guy called Salaam.
Enjoyment : 5/10
I sat through this entire movie, but wasn't too engaged either so I think 5/10 is a fair score. I did enjoy few bits of animation and interaction between characters, but that's all. The final fight between Deku and Flect Turn was just silly and it made me laugh.
Overall : 6/10
If you're looking for more elaboration on this series' characters or world then this movie is not for you, but if you'd like some anime fights with your favorite character trio of Deku, Bakugo and Shoto and you're alright with a story of a simpler premise, then go ahead. I hope Bones will give upcoming seasons a better treatment next time, instead of just milking the franchise with mediocre movies.

Before I watched Hunter x Hunter I've seen that reviewers here are divided
into two major sides. One is the people that praise Hunter x Hunter, saying it's the best shounen ever and the second is people that say it's overrated and very typical. I used to agree that it's overrated, but as I started watching I realized how wrong I was and my opinion drastically changed.
First I wanna say that I don't think Hunter x Hunter is the greatest anime of all time. "Then why you gave it 10/10?" you may ask.
Well there are two major aspects that I value the most in anime
...
: characters and overall enjoyment, and Hunter x Hunter managed to nail them perfectly.
Story : 9/10
Hunter x Hunter storyline definitely isn't the greatest and most complex, but it also isn't simple nor dull. The world of HxH and the way it works is very solid and makes sense. This anime well manages to slowly teach us principles of it's world to then descend more into complexity of it.
The plot itself is very enjoyable and the story progression throughout the series is carried out very well and it's balanced between typical, brighter scenes and very dark, unsettling themes and series of uncommon, original developments.
Art : 10/10
Artwork in Hunter x Hunter is straight up brilliant. Animation is fluid and pleasing to watch from start to finish. Characters designs are very diverse and nice.
Sound : 9/10
Music is great and it really does it job well to express climate and important of each scene. There're few tracks that are various versions of same track or instrumental version with slight changes, but it's completely fine, it's even better to hear different variations. Overall, Hunter x Hunter OST is just beautiful.
Characters : 10/10
Here it is, one of the best things in Hunter x Hunter - characters. They're well-written and more complex than you might think. You can get attached to them and sympathize with. Gon and Killua are great protagonists, they both develop emotionally and physically and sometimes they do it in uncommon and unexpected directions. Antagonists are very interesting, amusing and some of them have very complex personality. Supporting characters also get their chances to shine and have fair impact on the story.
Enjoyment : 10/10
Hunter x Hunter gave me great joy and many different feelings that other animes can't simply trigger so easily without cast of characters such as this.
Overall : 10/10
Maybe fair score would be around 9-9.5/10, but I just love this anime and if you're looking for a great adventure with lovable and memorable characters then just give it a shot, it's absolutely worth it.

At first glance Fire Force seemed like really cool show, like you have those fire fighters with different pyrokinetic abillities and techniques, but then well that's only cool aspect of this anime, because story and characters are bad.
Story 2/10
Ok so we use pyrokinesis and we gotta defeat infernals and find secret behind human combustion? Sounds simple, yet interesting, but as the story progresses it gets more dull and clichey. Between story progression we can see great amount of pointless unnecessary fanservice.
Characters 3/10
Well at the beginning characters seem nice, but then..
Shinra Kusakabe - he is only interesting character, he has this weird tendency to smile when
...
he gets excited no matter the reason. He is called Devil, but still he tries his best to be a hero.
Arthur Boyle - your clichy mc's rival and guy who annoys him.
Tamaki Kotatsu - worst character in this show so far, she's adding huge amount of unnecessary fanservice and tries to seduce Shinra, except that she is doing nothing else. That's just so annoying, like she could have better role, than just being thot which satisfies perverted people.
Maki Oze - she's cool, she needs fire starter to use pyrokinesis tho.
Iris - at the beginning she seemed fine, like normal nun, but guess what? She was fanserviced too, twice if i remember correctly.
Art 6/10
It's fine, not much to say about it. Animation is smooth and there is not much of the cgi.
Sound 4/10
Okay music is fine, but what the heck is wrong with these bass-boosted sound effects, like I heard same thing in OPM season 2. When there is a fight or something collapses it just sounds weird and I also noticed same sound effects being multiply used for different things.
Enjoyment 3/10
Ok, fights are fine in this anime, but rest is not very enjoyable. Characters relations and direction in which plot is going is really plain and predictable, also pointless fanservice and ecchi scenes that appear without reason, like girls taking shower together scene or clothes of female characters being burned by fire even when male cast stays unscratched, it's terrible and seems sexist.
Overall 4/10
If you want good story, then don't watch it, if you want to see some cool fights and you don't care about plot being plain and fanservice appearing from time to time then go watch it.
