What would you do if you somehow survived a plane crash on your way back from a school trip and land on an island not even registered on the map, with extinct animals roaming about and doing as they please? You have to survive and figure out how to get back home, but how? Well who knows, maybe this manga has your answer.
To be completely honest, when I first started reading Cage of Eden, I was like "Oh boy, another lame manga... Oh well, kills time." Later after reading it, I found I started to like it. Maybe because of how suspenseful the story was,
...
or because of all the boobs and panty shots there were, either way, it became my favorite.
I reread the first few chapters, and found that I had not paid attention to any of the little things in the beginning. Later in the volumes, the little things I never noticed came back to become huge things. But as for the plot of the story, it could be better.
There's not much to say about this manga, I kind of already said it in the first paragraph. Anyways, the manga is full of mystery and suspense, and starts off all happy and full of life, but it gets dark quick.
I recommend this manga to those who like action/adventure manga, but I wouldn't recommend this to those who don't like ecchi, because there is a lot of ecchi in this manga.

Akagami no Shirayuki-hime is an anime I've been waiting for for quite a while. When I discovered the manga, I instantly fell in love. When the anime came out, I didn't like it at first, because the characters looked different from what I was used to, but the story was spot-on, but I soon got used to it.
Story (7/10):
Like almost every anime with romance as it's main focus, there's not much story to it. But with this anime, there's practically a different plot to every episode, you can clearly point out what the episode was about and how it was different from the others.
Art (10/10):
The
...
art was very beautiful, great scenery, and adorable art style. As I said in the beginning, the art was much different from the manga, but it's still adorable.
Sound (10/10):
There's not much to say about this, really.
Character (7/10):
When watching anime, I always look for the character's background story , or what happened to the character in the past. There's not much background in this anime, especially in the main female character, Shirayuki, in which the story revolves around her.
Enjoyment (9/10):
I laughed on funny parts, blushed and cried on cute parts. I loved it.
Overall (8/10):
Like most people say, "The manga is better," I'd say that's true for this anime, although the anime has more elements that manga does not have.
Recommend:
I'd recommend this anime to people who like romance and shoujo anime. I also suggest to read the manga, but that's not required.
If you watched Tamako Market or Tamako Love Story, you might also like this anime.

"Don't judge a book by its cover," they always say, and that applies to this anime.
--------No spoilers---------
To be honest, before I watched this I judged this anime by its cover picture. I thought, "Hmm... I see a lot of good comments on this, and it's popular... but it looks kiddish." That was my first impression. I thought it was going to be stupid or it was going to be something like One Piece. I procrastinated to watch it. Then finally I got bored and wanted to try it out, I watched two episodes. Then six, then seven... then after a month or two I got
...
to episode 141 and stopped watching it for about three weeks because it was so good I didn't want it to end. Then finally I forced myself to finish it and the result was crying for the fifth time.
If you judge by the cover like I did, think: Why is it rated R? Well sir/ma'am, it's because there is lots of blood. I mean... not like it's raining buckets, but like as half the characters in AN opening dies in different ways. They die by being eaten, beaten to death, or just get shot or something terrible. It's not THAT bloody, I mean not like Attack on Titan bloody, but sometimes it's a bit too much.
I'm not saying that Hunter x Hunter always seems like it's rated R, sometimes it seems like it's rated PG 13. A lot of scenes it really cute and adorable, but sometimes... not so much. Sometimes you just want to cry your eyes out or just punch the computer/TV/phone until your hands bleed.
------------------------
Overall: 10/10!
This is my new favourite anime. There are many who have loved this and I am one of them. It may be long but you just have to find the time to watch it. One complaint though: It has the same opening song every episode but different opening art (for opening song) every arc.
Recommended:
I recommend this anime to people who love action/adventure anime.
Similar to:
Hunter x Hunter is similar to One Piece, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Fairy Tail, but nothing can't truly compare to the awesomeness of this anime.

How will humans survive the Seven Days of Judgement? Well, by their will to live, friendship, and strength, of course.
-Personal Opinion-
This anime, Devil Survivor 2 The Animation, was based off of the DS game, Devil Survivor 2.
I don't care about how others think about the animation after beating the game; I care about how I view it and how epic it was. I mean, I do have the game of Devil Survivor 2 and I haven't finished it yet... but I loved the anime more than the game.
The game made me die, the anime made me cry, the game made me mad, and
...
the anime made me sad. Why do you do this to me?!
Since I haven't completed the game, when I was watching this anime I had the urge to play it cause I was a bit jealous of the characters' demons... But then I remembered, I have to level myself up in order to not die... (Dang it)
OKAY! Enough about the game!
-----------------------
-Things you should know-
There was some parts in this anime that are disturbing because a lot of people die. Just be prepared to cry or at least be upset. (No spoilers)
Overall: 9/10
It is full of epic action and surprises in every episode. It's a very emotional anime and has a happy ending but it makes you sad/cry. Prepare for the feels.
Recommended for people who like Sci-fi and/or supernatural anime with a twist (the twist is the feels, of course).

Gugure! Kokkuri-san is a quirky anime. It has no plot and is a bit strange at times. This is an anime where, sometimes, you are so clueless that you have to laugh at it. That's why it's a comedy.
And yes, I did enjoy the weirdness of this anime. Sometimes, when my older sister got bored, she'd went into my room to see what I was doing. I had to pause several times to explain what was happening, because she never seen it, but most of the time I didn't know how to explain it because it was so weird.
Yes, there are some almost inappropriate scenes
...
in it, but it's for the laughs. And there are also some scenes where you are either blushing so hard because something is so cute or there is a romantic scene; you just don't know what to expect when you click the button to the next episode.
I highly recommend Gugure! Kokkuri-san to people who love quirky anime with no plot.

Anime: Danganronpa: Kibou no Gakuen to Zetsubou no Koukousei - The Animation. Or in other words: Danganronpa The Animation.
(Long name, amazing results)
(Somewhat) Short Summary:
The phrase, "Kill or Be Killed" is applied in this anime.
Being trapped in a school with only one way to get out: Kill someone without getting caught. The mastermind behind all of this, knows how to drive people to the verge of despair, by giving them motivations. These motivations make people want to kill others just to satisfy themselves, sometimes it doesn't go as planned.
My Opinion:
About a week before I watched this, I asked my anime buddy about this anime. Knowing
...
that I am afraid to watch rated R horror anime, she said, "Don't worry, the blood is pink."
So knowing the new information about the pink blood, I decided to watch it. And lets just say, having pink blood is better than having dark red blood because many people die in many ways.
To be honest, this was probably the first time I've enjoyed watching a rated R horror anime. It's all because of the pink blood.
Overall:
It was not as scary as I expected it to be. But it has a great mystery factor to it because you think that the killer might be one person but it's actually a different person.
Recommended:
I would recommend this anime to people who like mysteries and thrillers.
Not recommended for people who don't like the non-realistic parts of the anime, such as the pink blood.

I'll try to make this short and quick. Hopefully no spoilers. You decide.
Short Summary:
The main heroine, Haruka Ozawa, experiences many unusual phenomena and reports it to Yakumo Saitou. They soon begin investigations together. Come to find out almost all of things they investigate are all connected.
If you watch this anime and watch the anime Ghost Hunt, you could probably tell that they are very similar. In fact, I would actually recommend Shinrei Tantei Yakumo to people who liked Ghost Hunt and vise versa.
Overall:
Shinrei Tantei Yakumo is a great anime that consists on solving crimes and strange phenomena.
...
Recommended:
Shinrei Tantei Yakumo is recommended for people who love mysteries and things that are supernatural. This anime also has some Buddhist teachings.

"Have you ever felt like you were born in the wrong world?" -Sender: Unknown
No Game No Life is an anime that has been liked by many people, especially perverted gamers.
Story- (Story from the first episode)
No Game No life is about two siblings that are huge gamers and do nothing but playing video games. Then one day a person finds out about how advanced they are at gaming and challenges them at chess. The two siblings win, of course, and the loser asks them if they have ever felt like they were born in the wrong world. They say yes. Suddenly they are brought to
...
a new world full of gaming and were given the 10 pledges of this new world. The story starts from there. (that was the summary of half of episode one)
Art-
Personally I think that the art was very beautiful but there were times where I had to remind myself about how girly the colors were. There was no place where you couldn't find the colors pink and purple.
Overall-
I believe that No Game No Life was an anime I could watch again. Also I would like to watch to second season if they ever come out with one.
Recommended-
No Game No Life, I believe, is perfect for perverts and/or gamers.
Not recommended for people who don't like ecchi or video games. (wait.. who doesn't like video games?)

"Since ancient times, the dragon has been the only beast to equal a tiger." - Ryuuji Takasu.
When I heard about this anime, Toradora!, I immediately put it on my Plan to watch list. I really love Romcom anime like Maid-sama. So was very glad when I when I finally got a chance to watch this.
About-
Toradora! is about a small high school girl and a normal, scary looking high school boy that bump into each other one day. On accident, the small girl, Taiga Aisaka, gives a love letter to the wrong guy, Ryuuji Takasu. After finding out who Taiga likes, Ryuuji tells her who he
...
likes in exchange. After that, they start helping each other get together with the people they like.
Things you should know-
- Taiga's past reflexes on her personally.
- The ending was a.... Lets just say I had tears in my eyes.
Overall-
I love this kind of anime, and I want to watch it again.
Recommended-
I recommend this anime to people who love Romcom anime.
Not recommended for people who don't get the humor in Slapstick anime, or comedy based on violence.

Anime: Hakushaku to Yousei, also known as Earl and Fairy.
- I would strongly recommend reading the manga before watching this anime. You would be confused otherwise.-
Through my understandings of this anime, Earl and Fairy is about a girl, named Lydia Carlton, who is a Fairy Doctor. Like her mother, Fairy Doctors can see what others can't.
One day Lydia received an invite to go to London to visit her father, then her whole world changed.
Pros-
- It has mythical creatures in it, like fairies, selkies, and merrows.
- I believe the anime is longer than the manga, which is always good I guess.
...
Cons-
- It didn't explain the things that you wanted to be explained. Like, for example, what selkies and merrows are. You either have to look it up or read the manga to understand.
- It doesn't really tell about the people's past. It tells you just a little bit about the past but not a lot.
- The ending wasn't what I had in mind; I was expecting something with more action.
Overall-
This was a good anime but has some flaws here and there. I personally liked the manga more.
I would recommend this anime to people who like European myths. And also to people who have read the manga.
