My friend gave me a bunch of his old downloaded anime and this was on there.

There isn't a whole lot to say about Gall Force- Eternal Story. Its your standard old school space anime.

It had its high points: The ship designs, some of the fighting scenes and effects, ok music.

But there was also quite a bit of bad. There is almost no character development whatsoever. I found myself not really caring about any one character more than the others and so I wasn't really even sure who the heroes were.

When the cast starts getting killed one by one and each time its pretty ... much the only character you were interested in at that time, its usually not a good thing.

There was also very little background given on WHO these people were, antagonists and protagonists alike. All in all, it was enjoyable enough for me to watch and finish. But I highly doubt I will ever watch it again.

My favorite thing about Cowboy Bebop is how motley of a crew they all are and the interaction between characters. The action is ok but nothing special. But character development is where this anime really excels. They pretty much go into everyone's backstory well enough to give you a good idea of what makes them tick.

Can move along a bit slow at times but for the most part has a good mixture of comedy, action; seriousness and sillyness.

Chobits is a great character study full of "what-if" type scenarios that countless people have pondered as we grow more technologically advanced.

Can a person be replaced by a robot? In what ways?

I thoroughly enjoyed this anime and even though the story moved along slowly at times, it did a great job holding the carrot on the stick in front of me for what was going to happen next and when the relationships are going to be realized.

Not much action or adventure but good characters and storytelling.
