At first, I didn't really get what this anime was about, a lot of the scenes felt kinda thrown together and I was unsure about the direction this anime was heading in, untill my impatient ass watched the second episode and it made sense
I haven't dived deep into shoujo animanga media as much as others have (even though I absolutly love romance). But if this is my introdcution, I am not dissapointed.
My biggest compliment would probably go to the art, which at first seemed kinda shoujou generic, but with the beautiful blend of realistic backrounds and the classic shoujou artstyle that I have
...
at least seen, it left me pretty amazed
The characters aren't anything to write home about, Ishimori, our main girl, is pretty cute and relatable but her personaility and struggles are not things I haven't seen before. Kai is pretty cool but again, not special or genre-defying. The side characters at large, suck. Thats it.
But, their dyanmics together are so sweet, and after the snoozefest Blue Box was after there was so little romance and slow pacing, Honey Lemon Soda at least keeps my everlasting love for romance alive for this season at least. Since I have already caught up to Kuroiwa and Okinawa. I digress, but Ishikawa gaining confidence through Kai's efforts is pretty cutesy in my opinion.
From a recommendation stand point, I dont think this will be for everyone. So it gets mixed feelings from me. Give it a watch to expand your horizons maybe.

I feel like I have read far enough into Sakamoto Days to say it isn't the best shounen manga out there, never has been, never will be. That being said, I would be a liar if I said this wasn't a worthy read. So let's jump into it.
Story: 6.5/10: Sakamoto days story in the begining is quite...just...okay, it's nothing special, the guy is just an ex-assassin avoiding being iced and doing it all in flashy style. But as the plot thickens a bit, the narratives purpose seems to unfold. But as of chapter 196, it doesn't seem there is a grand thing each character
...
is working towards, rather just each arc presenting an interesting plot to push the story further which leads me into...
Plot: 7.5/10: This is where I have to give sakamoto days some props. Each arc brings alot of enjoyment and nail biting tension with fantastic action while also being able to relax a bit to unravel aspects about the lore and characters. Each arc has a purpose which either is more action based or more character based. Overall, each arc has to be good to make you want to keep reading, and it does that fantastically. Just wish it didn't feel forced as it sometimes does. However, smartly, infomation revealed previously becomes important later. Sakamoto Days is well thought out.
Characters: 8/10: Oh my do I love the characters in Sakamoto Days. While some of the supporting characters sometimes follow a trope-like line (which isn't bad btw), the main cast of Shin and SakaGoato are (for the most part) unquie and somewhat complexly written characters. However, to see this, you will have to read quite a bit. Side characters are fire, that's all I need to say, designs are some the best out there. The order is a pretty cool set of characters who also have unique traits. I love it. The antagonist group is such a breath of fresh air in terms of reasoning for motives that I can't help but critizise other series for not doing the same.
Art: 10/10: This is where I think the most of the Sakamoto fanbase will agree, is that the artstyle, composition, framing, designs and technique are THE best on the shounen new gen scene as of now. Beautiful, Jawdropping backdrops paired with easy-to-follow and detailed fight scenes. Yuuto Suzuki is a genuis. If there is something to appreciate about this series. Its the painstacking artwork that clearly has been made with true love and passion
Closing thoughts: Its good, better than good, give it a try. There will be at least one aspect of this series you will stay for. Which is why I am recommending it.
Overall: 7.5-8/10

Pretty underated, same author as beastars. Art style is quite beautiful. Story, while lacking substance in some areas, is enjoyable. Comedy is on point. Characters are fun for the most part. I suspect this manga will become more popular as the anime releases. So I guess get on it while its underground. This is only an enjoyable read if you are struggling to find something to read. For all those people, this should keep you at ease. I will say, it is pretty forgetable, at least I wasn't nearly as impacted as I guess the manga hoped to do to the readers.
Maybe In the
...
future ill rewrite this review once I re-read it over again, but for now, this is how I feel. Give it a go, you never know what might stick with you.

This is an implusive review, but I cant sit here and let the haters convince people not to watch this season
Firstly, Animation was fine, it was actually great infact. If you arent hyper analysing each frame of the anime in the begining episodes the "poor" and "powerpoint" will go by quickly. Very soon it picks up and becomes something incredible and unquie.
People had issues with dialouge, but i didn't at all. This is a shounen sports manga, and one of the most if not the most intense one out there right now. The dialouge serves it purpose to muster up hype and makes clench
...
your buttcheaks in anticipation. Don't expect shakespere dialouge. That's just stupid and you aren't watching this show for the right reason
Now what the anime did right:
And its the chracters. Very well written, fantastic backstories that aren't dragged out at all. Amazing dyanamics between some of the characters that surprisingly aren't with the main character, Isagi. If you have to love this show for something, its the characters for sure.
And that's all, don't be sheep and judge to quickly, because if you give Blue Lock Season 2 a chance, you will be very happy.

After Wotokoi, the best realistic office romance you will find, there wasn't much I could read or watch to match it until I found Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi, which for the sake of this review will just be referenced as the show below, I read a couple of chapters and after taking a quick look at the anime, it's pretty damn good.
Story/Plot: 7/10, You most likely know what this is about, smol girl and sigma senpai romance, very cute and wholesome, Futaba the main girl spats with Takeda her senpai is chill, not overly enticing or game-changing but still plays on its characters
...
traits like Futaba with a small chest and stuff like that make it quite a chuckle of fun.
Characters: 7/10, you love them or you hate them, personally I think their big/small dynamic is something that has been missing in media like this or not explored enough, so I'm glad here it's at least a thing. There is a side romance between two people Sakurai and Kazama, out of any romance in this show, I really want to see there's work out.
Art: 6/10, Not its strongest suit, I'm sure Studio "Doga Kobo" is great but it's just pretty usual and run-of-the-mill stuff, in short, good not great.
Overall: 7/10, it's good, and I would recommend it for those just wanting a chill time with an anime viewing experience, but if want something that changes and in similar vein to this, Wotokoi is 100% your way to go.

"Masterpiece" is not a word I use lightly at all but after reading 60+ chapters of Dosanko gyaru, I have never felt so compelled to write a review before. Please, if you have never read this before, I implore you to discover this fantastic manga.
Plot/Story: 8/10, Shiki Tsubasa, a Transfer student from Tokyo finds himself in Hokkaido as an exchange student and happens to come across a gyaru named Fuyuki, a generic plot to a manga for sure, but when story is involved, so much life is given to this manga, plot twists, well done dramatic/ emotional scenarios and fantastic build-up allow the reader to
...
experience these feelings conveyed by the author as if they were right there watching it for themselves. The only issue would be pacing/plot progression, at *some* major points and conflicts resulting in character development and or conclusion is rushed heavily, and while this is scarce and doesn't majorly affect the overall story, it can be quite hassle to read, but still, absolutely fantastic.
Characters/Cast: 9/10, When reading romance manga, it is crucial to have well-written and likable characters to add a flavor of enjoyment as it is the driving force, And LET ME TELL YOU, only good characters in this blessed series. Let's start with the MC, unlike most, he doesn't blush and get to be a nervous wreck AS MUCH as others, of course, he's still like that, but Shiki is Giga Chad, this isn't a harem but so fucking close I swear to god and I love it, he is overly kind, supportive, has his own backstory and issues, a personality and doesn't only just blush and in when around women in normal circumstances (he does but not in the over the top kind of way),
Shiki is a real one I'm just saying, alright on to Fuyuki Minami, main girl and the waifu of your dreams, Fuck it she even rivals Chizuru, that's right I said it. I can't say much here to avoid spoilers but god damn she is the sweat country bumpkin you'll ever meet, but hey her mom, the thickest hottest MILF I've ever seen with my own eyes, others include Akino, a gamer girl, I mean cmon wtf this just keeps getting better and lastly a gym girl/senpai who is also quite frankly in love (maybe) with the mc so yea, good shit.
Art: 10/10, read it, look at the pannels and experience bliss on paper (not in a weird way)
Enjoyment: 10/10, yea, i fucking love it.

"If we can't get true happiness then this will do"
Slice of Life, Wholesome, and Cute anime appeal to all sorts of anime fans, it's completely fine if it's not your thing but the majority should agree that media like this can't hurt to give a watch, and Jahy Sama backs this claim up big time.
Jahy Sama filled a hole in my heart longing for something that I could just laugh and smile at, nothing too special but nothing to straightforward and average, it just sort of fit into place and cemented itself in the genre just like that.
Breaking it down everything really excels in a
...
lot of places or at least does well, so let's take a look.
Plot/Story: 7/10, Demon takes massive L in hell, gets turned into a loli, and now fends for herself in a cruel world out to get her with evil humans to lay waste (or so she thinks). Perfect set-up for a show like this, the wholesome, sweet content and ideas ready to spill out. no complaints here. executed very well.
Characters: 8/10, every great show needs a great cast, And here they don't fall short, from Jahy herself to the Landlord to Kyoko the magical shojo who sent her to earth in the first place. all have a role to play and fit right in. Especially Jahy Sama, not only being a perfect protag but seeming development in the works as well, acknowledging humans aren't so bad as they may be I believe deserves massive credit.
Art: 8/10, Vibrant, Colorful and bright, Silver Link does an amazing job making this show really come to life. and the quality hasn't dipped so far so I'm happy with it.
Enjoyment/Overall: 9/10, I like it, it's great, it's funny, cute, wholesome, and puts a smile on my face. Nothing I would change, just another good anime here.

Look, I absolutely love sports anime, so seeing Re-Main, a show about water polo of all things, I was so excited for some fun, tense, and hype stuff that even I enjoyed, but in the end, I was ultimately let down by some of the most outrages bullshit plots and *some* terribly boring or basic characters. Re-main has been a pretty forgettable experience as an anime.
Plot/Story: 4/10 "So how do we make an interesting show WITHOUT any of the steps to get there or making it airtight whatsoever", well just do what Re-Main does. Basically, the main character gets in a fucking car crash, lands
...
himself in a coma for about 200 days or so, and on top of that just to the cherry on top, he loses 3 YEARS WORTH of memories. Which personally by my standards is a really big thing that should have a decent weight on the character's family and himself but no. They really just gloss over it all and honestly, I feel like it was brought up to some level of importance and does make some impact, but they all weep over it for like half an episode, and then oh it's straight back to water polo. They could have done this so much better, at least some resistance from a family member may be being tormented over almost losing their child to make it for real in a sense. but in the end, it feels like they put the most minimal effort into it
Characters: 5/10 honestly not much to say here, the main character isn't that bad whatsoever, and neither are any of the other characters, they all have something they want to strive for and work towards, and a really like that because it shows some level of care (unlike in some places). But this is where the compliments end for the cast, half the team at least which there are 7 of are the blankest, basic dead characters I've seen in a while. if you go look up the tall 'cant play basketball' guy, his description is that he's a gentle and soft person, mother fucker they are all like that seriously there's nothing to hate about them as people but come on something juicy at least. hit me hard with some of these guys. sadly on like 3 of them did, the main protagonist, the coach/senpai of the team, and the guy who really wants to surpass his brother.
Art: 8/10 Mappa puts in work, the strongest point of this show IMO, Never ever thought was per say lacking in some points, so good job Mappa, very well done here truly.
Sound: 7/10 Does just fine, sound doesn't really affect an anime for me unless it is actually unbearable at some points, but almost 95% of the time it honestly does not pose a problem at all. This is no different.
Overall: 4/10 I was hoping for so much more from Re-Main but it's not a manga-based piece, its a collab with Mikasa the sporting goods brand so I guess I shouldn't have hyped myself up, but I did and were here now. and who knows maybe this opinion is subject to change but this is how I feel currently at this point in time

This was such a huge step up from the 1st season, now don't get me wrong the first season was good too, like a 6. One problem i had with the 1st season was even though it was subtle, the teasing which was actually her Tagaki flirting, it was pretty boring to be real with you. The second season however blows the first one out of the water and really starts to lay down the spice. Never have i actually seen a Rom-com slice of life show go through such a good change of pace. So in this case this season was very good. I
...
loved that it still kept Takagi's subtle way of flirting through teasing without making it boring, it was also better in terms of plot which had the festival episode obviously. Everything else stayed the same and finally they didn't cut off the story like they did back in season 1, now i get to see more of the mini stories and its great. Over all 8/10 and definitely waiting for a season 3.
P.S, i see some people have given this show about 1 or 2 because apparently her pretty obviously harmless teasing is somehow making Nishi depressed and suicidal?. Like shut the fuck up no. What a shitty take and over reaction for sure. absolutely just fucking dumb. Anyway i hope you liked my first review.
