A pretty good adaptation given that A1 picked it up. With as good as the manhwa’s art was, I was worried that the animation wouldn’t be able to compete when I heard who was animating it, but they delivered. The animation is just good enough to make the fight scenes very enjoyable to look at.
One of the main downsides that was pretty prevalent in the anime was the story and pacing. Given that there’s only 12 episodes, all the parts in the episodes from the perspectives of all the major guilds on the events of Jeju Island just felt too much. Especially given where we

end off in the season.
But even with that, it was still fun to watch. Overall to me it was a 7/10, but I do have high hopes for the next season and think that it’ll get much better. Main thing this season suffered from was the amount of episodes they were given.
TLDR: 7/10, good enough animation but suffers from the amount of exposition on the major guild perspectives which only further limits the amount of content within the 12 episode season. Only next season will the scene’s and outside-character perspectives start to matter.
