For the first 3 episodes: 8/10, but theres a lot more to it than this.
Overall I am a big fan of the chainsaw man manga and I guarantee it gets better as the series prolongs, but the first season might not live up to everyone's hype.
Story 7.5/10: At this moment the story is pretty basic and nothing crazy but it gradually gets better and better as more things are revealed and as you start really liking the characters and how crazy it can get.
Characters 7.5/10: Again its so early on I can't really say much about the characters but there
...
are some really good ones as the show goes on (all the big 4 are great) plus some others in future arcs. Many people early on feel weird about Denji but its very easy to see why he's like this and I personally really like how he's so different from other shonen characters.
Animation 9/10: The fight scenes are great, some cgi is a bit weird but not too much of a problem especially with how mappa does a really good job of building up the hype for the fight scenes. The more calm scenes/still frames are like 10/10 with a lot of detail and really set the tone of it.
Sound 9.5/10: The op is a banger and they have an ed for each episode, with ed 1 to me still being the best out of all them. In addition to this the sound effects of the chainsaw are so good, plus the osts are great.
To many people Chainsaw Man might just be another basic shonen thats more on the gorey side, but the farther you go into the series the more you will realize how great it is, so even if you weren't that big of a fan of the first eps I would suggest to keep watching, and make sure to avoid spoilers!

Overall I was kind of first confused why bubble had mixed opinions on it when I first saw the rating + reviews, but thinking about it, it definitely makes sense
*minor spoilers below*
Story 6/10: It had its good moments and I actually really enjoyed the first half. The second half was definitely makoto shinkai inspired, but it felt rushed with many plot holes (will go into this down below). If you don't think about these plot holes, the movie is actually really really good in my opinion, or if you haven't watched any of Shinkai's films.
Art 10/10: OUTSTANDING sequences
...
of parkour and motion angles, as expected from WIT studio. Many shots as well were wallpaper like.
Sound 9/10: Great in all aspects, as expected. Nothing stood out to me like your name or weathering away with you, but nothing was bad.
Characters 6/10: The MC is developed to a normal character's extent and he is a decent character. Uta is sort of good (you see her character arc in a lot of anime) and the rest of the characters are your typical side characters, so don't expect too much from this department.
Overall the movie had its ups and downs, but seriously it was decently enjoyable. It felt generic, but it was nice to pass time. Ending was also good
MINOR SPOILERS BELOW-skip if you haven't watched it:
I think my biggest issue were some of the plotholes. Why did Uta the bubble love the MC only? How come they could only hear the music? The bubble phenomenon was also not explained that well. I didn't think about this on initial watch but I am starting to think about it now. If these were solved this movie would be much better.

Shikimori-san at this moment seems to be very mixed-feelings after the first view eps. This was probably the most hyped non sequel apart from spy x family, and has a lot of people watching it, but they seem to be disappointed with the development and lack of a plot in it.
From what I have heard the manga continues to get better down the road so hopefully we can see more of a plot. Overall I would say its still a good show so far, just not great.
Story 6/10: Its a meh story. If you don't like slice of
...
life that doesn't have meaning to it, this I would not reccomend it. But I will say that its pretty satsfying in a way there is no drama and the main couple is already together, which bumps it up a bit.
Art 9/10: DAMN the studio really put good art. The scenery is great and somehow the expressions of the characters, especially Shikimori. The art is also very consistent.
Sound 8/10: Its a romance anime with normal soundtracks, but the OP is actually pretty unique and a lowkey banger.
Characters 7/10: This is the most mixed bag. The MC is kind of a "beta" male who literally is about to get injured every time, and is not really good at anything. No idea how he got Shikimori. Still not an atrocious MC though like I see some people saying, as he still has balls to do things unlike a certain character... Shikimori is great, she's the main selling point of this show. The friends are also pretty likable so far.
Enjoyment 7/10: Its mostly just chill enjoyment thats probably not the best in a binge. Sometimes it can get a bit boring, but to me it was mostly just wholesome fun.
Overall its just a good anime, with nothing it does outstanding , but nothing too bad. I guess its the definition of playing something safe.

Spy x family is looking like it might break mainstream with this insane popularity, and is probably the first time a slice of life oriented show has gotten this popular. Due to this, I have seen so many people call this overrated or not as good as people make it to be, but from a blind first time anime watcher, I think it deserves its hype.
Spy x family does not have an insane or complex narrative at all, but its good at what it does. It combines action and slice of life really well, and I think the way its presented
...
is a mess that somehow lands on its feet.
One of the best things to happen to Spy x family is WIT + cloverworks. Both studios have some of the best animation for action or slice of life, which is prefect for this show. And the first 3 episodes have not dissapointed yet, with everything seeming smooth and well done, while the action is still super well done.
The strong point of Spy x family is easily its characters. The main 3 characters in already the first 3 episodes are some of the better ones you can find in a slice of life. Everyone talks about Anya, and she is easily the funniest character in this show. Her character of reading minds makes for some great moments, but also making it show that she is just a 5 year old at heart who wants a family. Twillight, the MC, is actually a pretty well written character who truly sacrificed a lot to become a spy, and is just learning to associate with a family. Yor, an assasin, is kind of a yandere type who can jump from wholesome to a killer in an instant.
By far the best part of the show to me is just the family moments. When they are conversing doing day to day things and just having fun is what makes this anime so great, and is probably the most relaxing show to watch after a stressful day.
Overall this anime is not a masterpiece but is a happy slice of life with some action that can appeal to a wide variety of people, and is super enjoyable. Truly deserving of the hype.

Kaguya-Sama is a masterclass of the rom com genre, and literally presents every good thing about it, especially the comedy part.
Story 7-8/10: Its a good story thats pretty unique for romance, but this is literally a comedy don't expect anything crazy that blows your mind.
Art /Sound 9/10: The art is perfect for a story like Kaguya Sama, with the random dramatic pauses and moments, but also the more wholesome and daily life moments. The ops are also great, and the soundtracks, while not standing out, fit all the moments really well.
Character 10/10: ALL the characters are so entertaining and
...
might be my favorite cast in all of anime. Kaguya is literally every dere in existence and drives the plot forward at many times, which creates so many funny moments. Shirogane is Shirogane with his menacing external appearance but with many flaws on the inside, and also what drives the plot forward. Ishigami continues to be a relatable otaku, and Chika is Chika. Miko is also a great addition last season that really contradicts Ishigami's lifestyle and their banter is super funny. Although none of these characters are deep or though provoking (at this moment) they all provide PEAK entertainment.
Enjoyment 9.5/10: MOST of the time Kaguya sama is one of my favorite anime to watch, especially for a smile on my face or a chuckle. Every once in a while there might be a joke that doesn't hit, and that joke might tend to be the main theme for many minutes, but that doesn't happen too much. Still is peak, and after reading the manga, this season is going to be the BEST.

Ousama Ranking to me is very hard to rank. I will be completely honest and say that the first cour was amazing, while the second cour felt much more "average"
*Anime Spoilers below*
Story 7.5/10: The first cour of the story was amazing. There was great mystery and wondering what the character's desires were. But the second half to me did bump down this score. The story was still technically good, but it just didn't feel right. Boji getting strong was a bit half-assed, but they did in a decent way at least. The healing things with this
...
anime were the worst for me as I felt 0 suspense. The second cour was also more dragged out in parts, but not to like a big shonen extent. The worldbuilding was still great and its clear that this story is just starting, so this score could go up.
Art 9/10: Holy the art was amazing. Obviously WIT did it, and they have the best sakuga and action scenes in my opinion. In addition to this, the water paint backgrounds were amazing as well, even if a little weird.
Sound 9/10: Each OP and ED was great, and I would go through each episode listening to them. I didn't really notice the soundtracks, but they were good and didn't feel out of place.
Characters 7/10: This is where I felt the second cour went downhill. First cour was mostly about Boji, Kage, Daida, and King Bosse, and their relationship and development was amazing. In addition to this, the whole supporting cast had a very gray moral compass and you didn't know if they were good or bad. But, this all pretty much got solved in the second half. (Spoilers): They basically all forgave each other and had a more happily ever after ending, even the main villain. Which comes to my main problem. They forgive way too easily in this show, which I guess isn't a bad thing for some people, but the way the show was marketed in the first half let me thinking it was going to be much more complicated. Also Daida and Miranjo's relationship feels illegal.
Enjoyment 7.5/10: First half this was like an 8.5-9/10, but second half just felt much more boring, apart from some of the backstories. All my favorite episodes were in the first cour, with the exception of episode 21, which was just jaw-dropping.
Overall a light 8/10: The first cour was amazing and I can't take that out, but the second cour just felt like a generic happy-go lucky shonen. Still has good worldbuilding and a promising future, so I am still anticipating a second season.

HOLY LAST EPISODE WAS ACTUALLY INSANE. (old review got deleted so here goes a new one). Overall, this season of AOT is easily the best season, which is most likely gonna end on ch 131. Easily the best parts of AOT. Episode of 5 of part 2 was probably my favorite AOT episode of all time.
Story 10/10: Man so far has season 4 part 2 been such a story. The twists and turns of last episode to the culmination of everything that has happened so far in this episode is just so mind-blowing to me.
...
Art 8.5/10: The CGI can look wonky at times and is not nearly as good as WIT's titans, but season 4 part 2 has been an upgrade from season 4 part 1 where it looks nearly 2d. The recent episode MAPPA obviously put all their budget into which was WELL worth it. Easily the coolest transformation sequence I have seen so far.
Sound 10/10: OSTs are great and they all sound epic, sad, or horrifying. The OP is great and fits the tone of Eren's character. The ED is easily my favorite ED of the whole show with jaw-droppingly beautiful visuals and so emotional.
Character 10/10: All the characters are heavily explored in some ways. People like Eren, Zeke, Grisha, and Reiner all got massive character development while the old survey corps stuck to their roots and showed that really haven't changed at all. Even side characters like Porco got good character development: At peace with himself learning his brother truly loved him and protected him.
Enjoyment 10/10: I mean this is one of my first animes, its gonna always be a 10/10 for me.
Overall: 10/10

It was a good show, 7/10.
The first was actually really refreshing and I really liked it. That slow pace of life with only a few action scenes plus some romance really worked, as it was like the epilogue of a great adventure story. Nothing was amazing, but it was super entertaining. Then the real "plot" started to kick in.
The plot in the last 1/3 of the episodes started to look more like an isekai fantasy plot, except it was extremely confusing, and you can see the budget also went down towards the end once there were a lot
...
more action scenes.
Luckily, the final episode made up for those lackluster episodes with a good enough happy ending, with a peaceful viewing of how life was going to be for them later. Still a good anime, and pretty entertaining apart from the episodes right before the last episode.

Jobless Reincarnation part 2 was a massive improvement from part 1. Part 1 was already pretty good, but part 2 built up upon that in nearly every way.
Story 8.5/10 The story isn't the strongest part of the anime, but it's still very good. It's definitely on the adventure side with Dead End's main goal to find the family of Rudeus and Eris. But, towards the end of the season, the story really starts to pick up. The worldbuilding is one of the best of all anime. I can't really explain it, but when watching it you get a feeling
...
of actually being in the world.
Art: The art is great, fluid, and it really shines in the action scenes. Not much to be said.
Sound 9.5/10: Most underrated part of the show. They change the openings/endings a lot, and each of them is an amazing fit for the show. They generally put it with a travelling scene instead of the normal OP format, making every second of the episode count. Sound effects and OSTs are obviously great as well.
Characters 9/10: Another amazing part of the show. All the characters are flawed and are trying to overcome problems, especially the main character. There is always growth, in a good way or a bad way.
Enjoyment 9.5/10: Very enjoyable show, just my personal opinion.
Overall Jobless Reincarnation part 2 really was a step up from part 1, and I loved nearly every aspect of it. By the end of the show, I can barely believe this is an ecchi story by how much the other aspects of the show outshine that theme.

The most popular and polarizing season of AOT, season 4. I either see 50% of the people hate this season, or 50% calling this peak fiction. Personally, I would lean towards the 2nd option.
Story 10/10: The plot is on a totally different path, and you don't know what to expect next. There is nothing predictable in AOT anymore and it's like a whole new anime. That's pretty much it I can say without spoiling, even though I bet most people already got spoiled.
Art 8.5/10: Mappa did a good job for their time constraints. Their 2d
...
animation is amazing, really showcasing how dark this season is. They used a shit ton of cgi, which was actually really good for cgi, but still not as good as 2d titans. I did not feel that thrill anymore when the ODM gear was used though.
Sound 10/10: The opening is amazing and so symbolic, with the soundtracks being my favorite out of all of AOT.
Character 10/10: If I had to give an 11/10, it would be this category. Eren's character development was insane and he was definitely the highlight of the season. Reiner's and Zeke's backstories made me sympathize with them and the rest of their people too much, and it was very hard for me to root for anyone this whole season.
Enjoyment 9.5/10: This would be rounded to a 10/10 but I did not enjoy it just as much as season 3 part 2, because it still had many just talking scenes, and it was more a set up season for season 4 part 2 rather than a culmination of events.
Overall 10/10: Tied with Season 3 part 2 as my favorite season, and definitely the most mind-blowing season out of them all.
