The plot of this anime is poorly explained, leaving out crucial details that could have enhanced the story. The buildup in the beginning was promising, but midway through, it lost direction and became confusing. The most engaging characters were surprisingly the chipmunk (no joke) and Xianyi Li; the rest of the cast lacked depth and personality.
While the art and design were appealing, and the voice acting was decent, the animation fell short of expectations. Overall, the characters felt bland, and there was a distinct lack of a coherent story. It's difficult to discern what the anime aims to be beyond a misguided attempt at comedy.
