Honestly, this movie is so cliche that there is nothing to spoil because everything was already predictable. It was just cliche after cliche.

The 60-minute mini-movie goes wrong at the beginning when Akane hands over the protagonist role to Mika. That was way too much out-of-character behavior for Akane. Akane has always been the main character until now. It has worked well due to the character chemistry and traits of Akane.

The relationships between characters appear hollow Because Mika is at the center of the story. Ginoza had a lot of depth in the first and second seasons. Now Ginoza is just soulless and carrying ... out his task. Bringing Yayoi to support Mika and Ginoza just ruins it even more because Yayoi has never been an interesting character. Yayoi has never before been given a significant role due to that. Overall interesting conversation or character development isn't brought to the scenes.

Things get even worse when the main-villain combination is introduced. The villains are way too obvious, and the split between good and evil is as cliche as it can be. There is no moral conflict seen. The villain's motive is to eliminate bad people because they are villains. There isn't depth in the villain's motive! The protagonists also fail to have any moral conflict or thinking is what they do right or wrong. It is a drastic change compared to the first season.

Also, there were all the cliches of the Psycho-Pass series. They claim to introduce a new concept of rehabilitation facility that was already introduced a long time ago. The Sibyl system being the reason for all the bad is a cliche that Psycho-pass has been using a lot, but never has it been used in such a blunt and meaningless way. It felt like the Sibyl system was behind everything because the Sibyl is evil, and people can't get rid of it. Previously Sibyl has been introduced as a good and evil entity to society.

Previously every Psycho-Pass addition had been able to add something new to the franchise. For disappointment, the 60-minute movie gathered all the cliches of the Psycho-Pass series without bringing anything new to it. All the aspects of the film could have been predicted by just watching the previous production. In conclusion, don't waste your time watching this :)

If you watched BNA anime and liked it you will like this manga too. Style and story telling is kind of similar to the anime. It also refers to the anime many times and continues the story based on anime.

(So because Mal doesn't have a good synopsis to this manga) In short Michiru tries to find a suitable job for herself and at the same time explore how beastmen live in Animal city through day to day life. The story progresses kind of fast and is sometimes a little confusing. The themes that the story deals with are interesting and give a more ... depth aspect to the beastmen’s world.

art 4/10
Art style isn’t good. Characters look sometimes weird in pictures and their proportions are sometimes wrong. The scenes look plain, because there is no different coloring or texturing. The lack of variation causes the characters to sink into the background from time to time.

characters 9/10
Manga introduces new characters and uses old ones. Old characters' action is similar to the anime. The new characters are fascinating and come from different backgrounds which give a nice touch to the view of the BNA world.

In conclusion, the manga is a good way to get to know the BNA world better and continue where the anime ends. (and it is short and quick to read through)

I would like to say that I liked this series but can't. Most of the time it just tried to explain the story and evolve it. Forgetting to develop the caracters. Left the viewer not caring about the characters and what will happen to them.

The series left too many open questions along the way and it was a shock that it got it all together in the end making some sense. The end result though isn't very good and because the big buildup the rushed end was just disappointing. Good thing in the story is the way it is built toward the ... final fight (though the end fight isn't even the best fight.) It added along the way new things and new characters and the first season's ending is pretty good.

art 6/10
The atmosphere and backgrounds are good and make a good fantasy feeling. Spell casting looks really amazing and I haven’t seen another similar method. Character designs aren’t that good and Chaika’s dress annoys me.

The opening and ending music are really good. They fit in the overall mood nicely.

The characters ruin the series. There was too little character development. The character traits are boring and generic. Sometimes it feels like the characters have only one aspect and they repeat the same reactions and jokes throughout the whole series. The series gives a lot of opportunities for good character developments but nothing happens. Only character that is good is Chaika. His actions with others and speaking is adorable. But Chaika, like the others, holds a lot of wasted potential.

I think that if the series would be longer it would have more time to develop the characters. Now it just feels like the 22 episodes are too short a time to cover the whole story and at the same time try to develop characters. The decision was made and now the whole story has been rushed with bad characters.
