This is peak fiction, I haven't come across any other anime that can compare to this.
The way Di gi Charat is written is genius in that it ascends the general rubric for anime and I had to evaluate it in a way different from any other series. The character designs for Dejiko, Puchiko, and Usada are peak moe and the citizens of akihabara being represented as anthropomorphic thumbs is a great metaphor for how the city is a hub for gamers.
