Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan
(Anime)
add
Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan is the most brainrot anime right now, but that doesn’t make it a masterpiece. With more lows than highs, it starts off strong but quickly falls flat. I had high expectations, especially since it’s an anime that constantly breaks the fourth wall, ignores logic at every turn, and features such a unique character. However, you soon realize that the jokes aren’t that funny, the comedic situations are weak and repetitive—“look, my horn turned into a rifle,” “look, I pulled a sandwich maker out of my head,” “haha, I’m not Nokotan, I’m Barack Otan, the deer president of Japan,” and so on. Violet Evergarden
(Anime)
add
Violet Evergarden is my favorite anime—it's even in my profile picture, look.
This anime can either be incredibly boring for you or a masterpiece like no other. Violet's character development is one of the best I've ever seen. You follow her journey from being inexperienced in the workforce and lacking basic common sense to her childhood, where flashbacks reveal how she was used as a weapon on the battlefield. Sousou no Frieren is definitely on my list of "anime you should recommend to your friend non-stop until they get annoyed and finally watch it." This anime manages to be a spectacle in every aspect, but my favorite part is the characters—well-developed, memorable, and unique. Another highlight is the art direction; I can't quite explain it, but watching it gave me a sense of nostalgia.
The story follows familiar tropes—demons, a demon king, magic training, adventurers—but Sousou no Frieren tells it in a unique way, with a slower and more relaxed pace that fits perfectly. And about Frieren... I'd love to lift her by the ears like ... Jan 21, 2025
Kumo desu ga, Nani ka?
(Anime)
add
If you're planning to watch this anime now, be aware that it can be a bit confusing as it contains two parallel storylines—one focusing on the spider protagonist and the other on someone else who was also reincarnated. These different plots tell the story in a mysterious way that really kept me hooked to see where it would all lead. The protagonist and her fun personality are undoubtedly the most entertaining aspects of the anime. However, honestly, that CGI was unbearable—and it seems like everyone here agrees. If you enjoy isekai anime with lots of RPG systems, you'll probably love Kumo desu ga, Nani ka?
