1. This is one of those anime that makes you kinda wonder "Who is this show for?"
. This is a curiosity you will come to think too after you watch this. Since it's gross and full of plot holes, unsatisfying episodes, half-assed action, all served on a non-hype, dissapointing scene.
. When you think of "blood weapons", you don't imagine cutting your veins, proceeding to bleed out litters of blood all while screaming "it hurts", feeling your head go in circles, or bumping your head against the floor. That's just plain unpleasant... I think so too.
. If you may not like seeing pain fetishes, being entertained
...
from feeling pity at seeing others despair, or enjoy seeing sequels unrelated events, I recommend you don't watch this show. But if you still think you can get over these aspects, go ahead.
. I'm not going to mention much the turnoff that is the failure at trying to be in the "shounen" genre(young male MC), or the fruitless boring fights, or the tournament arc.
<I'm saying this from 2020's perspective, but what would someone from 2011 do? I watched all this so you don't have to.

Why are you throwing rocks at this?
The main selling point of this anime isn't it being an ecchi show. It is not an "adventure in the wild" type of story. I find it little more than that. As a story with a goal, a point, a place the protagonist wants to protect, and reach.
-An interesting story that ends in a good note, full of moe parts, presenting and exposing again and again how our emotions impact our actions. They can go deep, but for a 12 episode show, don't expect the characters' full psychology to be presented word to word.
Example: K, the guy
...
that because of his past trauma, won't fail for the same belief twice and comes to hate others as a result.
Kokonoe(Male MC), who wants to protect.
Julie(Female MC), who won't let anything be taken from her anymore.
Miyabi(Female Main), who wants her feelings to be answered.
Lilith(Female Main), who will fight for what she wants.
And Tomoe(Female Main), who doesn't pay enough attention to other's feelings.
You'd want to watch this anime because of:
-1 Animation, representing really well human movement and action, how characters feel and move
-2 Epic battles(believe me on this one)
-3 Good character development
-4 It being enjoyable, to the end
-5 Interesting story
-6 Fulfilling episodes, capturing your attention
-7 Relatable moments
-8 The banger that is this OP
-9 Moe. Really moe.
-10 Above expectations moments
-11 Realistic emotions
-12 Nice mix of fun, plot and story drive
It ends as a coherent story and follows to the end its own saying: "when you acquire something, you lose something else". This is enough to make you want to return back to the moment where it all started. ((And I didn't even get to talk about how cute, moe, and how much I want to dote on our lovely Female MC, Julie, and her authentic ecchi moments.))
But here we are, where people are talking badly about it because the anime didn't meet what they expected it to be.

TL;DR: A budget show, story, plot, creativity and art-wise. Episode 1 = Good. Don't bother with the rest.
Looking back on it, this show was nothing more than 1 actual episode and the rest is cliche along with fillers.
The only episodes worth watching are first and that mostly just the first half, that's what made the show interesting. If you wanna see the direction the show takes, watch until episode 3. That's a -dead end-(don't quote me on that).
Rest of the show is your common romantic comedy(as casual as it gets, like your TV movies/shows. It's like watching Titanic for the 27th time). I liked
...
how it started, it was quite smart and human for characters to start off like that. Neither we're too confident or too stupid and they acted in a manner that made it good. Then, there's the rest of the show.. How his girlfriend went from "same as you" to "madly in love", "a bitch", and also "the devil". His childhood friend went from a good friend to a chiwawa that screams all day and acts so tsundere it's unbearing. Saw this show many times before. Saw it done better. Saw better comedy and episodes which order would matter, but here not;
MC went from uninterested to "oblivious/dull" and he gets criticized for it; So much screaming in this show!! I'm not having my volume at 100 yet I can hear her from the other room, good thing I didn't watch it on TV. It went like a rollercoaster, from kinda good to absolutely ignorant. Eventually get got all boring.
(What do you do when you have no more imagination or things to do with your current characters? Add more characters! - Japanese anime/manga creators.)
I liked the style of the Art though (so bright sometimes), but some faces made me laugh like their eyes we're dark dots that moved sideways while zooming in. Other times, they forgot what was the art supposed to look like.

From the same studio that helped work on the fail attempt called "Jiggly Jiggly Heaven" -- ah, sorry, "Marchen Madchen", from the same studio that brings to us hentai, we have this emotion-focused show that at episode 6 already fails with the animation completely, not like it went already downhill from episode 2 on. I could draw better.
So, we have our classic lonely otaku protagonist that goes and just so casually acts like a normie and finds a girl. So original. This show is as smart as 'him and her' that do not think before doing anything then the "she" gets in fights
...
with him, like "B.... please!", the MC already has no idea what life is about!
Good things about the show: Decent sounds, but I don't mean footsteps. They even failed there, music that is missing but they have a good ending, that is respectable. Yea, that is much you can take from this show. The good part of the show is only at the start, the emotions.
Things I hate about this show: Footsteps. -- y cani nutt heer u? --
Sounds are bad, most of the times lacking, missing and there's no music.
Art sucks. After all, it's a H-Studio.
Typical characters and interactions.
The show stops making sense after third episode, or even during the middle of third.
Emotions are not on point like I previously stated after episode 1. You start wondering you really would feel "like that" - poorly animated.
I enjoyed like the first 2 episodes because I could relate to myself when I 14-15 years, but seriously what the *heck* they are 17-18 years OLD, like wtf those apes don't have common sense?! - Indeed - ain't smart.
Stupid use of flashbacks, even so they are poorly presented and give you no emotions or way to react.
Life is too short to spend it eating *crap* content.
Time to drop it, I think.
Go watch something good. "Old, Classic" - Your 16 Year Old Ogii-chan.

Basically, it's a 3D Less-Anime-More-BS with an empty story, moe characters, made in photos and good music. Would you watch it?
No spoiler no life, it would be too vague so:
SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT SPOILER:
Story: Lots of nonsense, some witch who predicts the future and kills people. Everything starts from the title "Reversed World" aka "Paralel World", but it turns out it's the same world?
Now we can easily understand the cliche and common this concept of this story, following a MC more dull and careless than my sliced cheese. Problems are showing themselves from the first frame, in which someone from
...
the original world gets killed for knowing[nothing], everyone cherring a man's death. Hooray, economy..
So, until the end of the series, we are understanding that there are two worlds who coexist in the same time and space, who can so easily interact with each other without penalty, but still everyone know of it and are still all confused. Why's that? If you don't know how to have content and fluidity in it, YOUR STORY IS OVER. How can you just never clear things up and keep adding mysteries one over another? Bet the writer doesn't have a clue either.
Sound:
Music is good, as for the footsteps or any other effects choose to use something too common and small for something of a way bigger scale or different sound.
Art:
Yeah, 3D as it is but the character's movements weren't fluid at all, they moved too slow and you could tell the missing frames.
Backgrounds looked very well and deserve some credit, characters looked good too with the positions being a little more realistic than expected.
Characters:
They we're cute. Yet couldn't take the opportunities and be a little clever or deductive. Also, the MC in the OP looked like Arararagi. This anime doesn't have originality at all, just balls. Eh, the least I can say is that the characters are, somehow, honest.
Enjoyment:
Music was really good, art didn't look bad at all and characters we're honest, with a somewhat interesting and empty story, but I can't ask much for a total of 25 minutes in a show, can I?
But still enjoyed it a lot. Just because it had that charm of hard-working people, but I only had expectations, because it could have been so much better.
