One of the worst series I've ever had the displeasure of watching.
I don't even now where to start, it's that bad.
Should I start with the worldbuilding? Utterly undeveloped, it's like they think of something they need for the plot and they write it down. Almost no build up, almost no backstory, just random stuff thrown in.
And that's just the general feel of the entire series. Things just happen, the writing is terrible. The characters are one-dimensional, it's all just a bunch of tropes.
It's just very cliche, this entire anime is one giant sequence of cliches, not even executed in an interesting way.

I'm usually very picky, but I don't know why this show really grabbed me. I'm an ADHD-ridden bored mess, I don't like anything. And yet I really liked this.
It's just got enough humor that I can describe it as funny. It's got epic moments, and yet they're so wrapped in sarcasm and parody and irony that I love them much more than a boring epic moment from a more serious anime. And yet, it's also a rather serious anime overall, despite all the sarcasm. I love that blend, it's what really clicks my buttons. So... yeah.
