Tl;dr:
It's fine. Visuals aren't great for being a movie, (Aside from literally the last few scenes of it.) but the VA cast is amazing.
I haven't read/played FGO and with that in mind, the story and characters were meh.
If you want to know a summary of what happens in this arc of the FGO story, then it's an alright watch; otherwise just play the game or a playthrough if you're really that interested.
Story: 6/10
Very interesting and seems cool... BUT the movie felt very rushed and it shows with how fast the story was progressing.
You've barely seen/experienced an area or event and before you know it, the
...
movie's already in the next. Other than that, it's cool, as is par with Fate/ in general, so if you like Fate/ it's casually good enough.
Art: 6/10
Just alright, like, it's okay. Not as good as I hoped it would be.
If I could compare it to something, it's like the Deen movie adaptation of UBW but more modern.
Definitely missing that 'movie quality' feel EXCEPT the last few scenes; that actually caught my eye and deserves some praise. It was beautiful.
Sound: 5/10
Let's start with the best of the sound side which is the VA cast and their work execution. The movie is filled with a good number of VAs you know and love which did all their work exceptionally. I can personally say they're the best part of the movie in general.
Now, on everything else; tbh, I don't even remember most of the soundtrack. Sfx were fine, worked as intended, nothing wrong but that's it. Nothing to write home about.
Character: 4/10
The worst part of the movie. You see most of the cast for 3 minutes and that's all the development they get. Basically nothing. Benivere's the main focus and even he didn't get nearly enough development for me to care much. In the end, it's just enough to for me to see their character designs at least and know in general what they're about.
Enjoyment: 6/10
As an avid Fate fan, it was fine. There was nothing spectacular about it but it's... something. At the very least I enjoyed it enough to not just dismiss it.
Overall: 6/10
Seriously, all I can say is it's good enough to scratch that Fate/ itch.
If I would rank it vs all the Fate/ Anime, it'd definitely be ranked on the lower half. Not visual enough vs Apocrypha or even Kaleid but not as mediocre as Deen F/SN.

3D Kanojo is NOT a good show.
I have given this show a try since I wanted a show that could've realized the desires I had in watching Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso, which was quite a disappointment for me.
3D Kanojo didn't meet my expectations, to say the least.
Now, you might be thinking, "This guy doesn't like Your Lie in April!? I won't read this sht, all his points are invalid.". Well, at least give my review a chance.
So, let's start with my disappointment for Shigatsu. Shigatsu is a GOOD show. Contradicting, yes, but hear me out. I watched it because, as everyone else usually does
...
starting drama anime, I wanted to get emotional. It became a disappointment because it never even got near to making me feel anything.
A short reason would be because the main characters, which are the focus of the drama aspect of the story, did not get the development they needed. Before the "moment", the show went on for ages on sht that is completely irrelevant to the main point of the show. As I was troubled of the ongoing crap, I was force choked into feeling sad for someone that I don't even know much of (due to lack of character development). Combine these and you get a disappointing end to a good hopeful of an anime.
With all these, how do I even get to think it's a good Anime then?
Because it is!
People mistakenly equalize "Good stories" with actual "Good" shows. A good story (for you) does NOT mean that it is a good Anime, HUGE mistake.
I didn't like the show for the reasons I have dictated, but that doesn't mean it's bad.
Shigatsu has great animation, to start things off. The ost is phenomenal and iconic in the Anime community, with good reason. Seeing the Anime as a whole, you can see that a lot of passion and care is given in the creation of it and it shows! As a simple gauge, look at the OPs & EDs; they're amazing. Sadly, people think the story was good because the presentation (anime itself) was good which as I have stated, isn't the case.
With that, let's see the relationship of Shigatsu with 3D Kanojo; Why do I deem Shigatsu as a good Anime even with my dislike of it but see 3D Kanojo as the worse version (Bad anime).
*Spoilers for Shigatsu & 3D Kanojo*
You can connect the two in how they start up with the good bits of the plot. Both shows feature a heroine which "seemingly" have some kind of illness that may or may not be terminal. Both shows present the event in which the heroine doesn't have much time left. Both shows could have been good.
Now that we have the important similarities out of the way, let's now focus on the differences.
I have stated somewhere above, a summary of despite being a disappointment, why Shigatsu was good. If you remember, I have stated the care and passion given in the creation of the show as one of the reasons for it being a good show. This might be one of the most, if not the most important need of a show to be deemed respectfully pleasant.
3D Kanojo lacks ANY sign of this. Okay, compare the OP of 3D Kanojo with another of a show that aired the same season; specifically Wotakoi. Now, tell me, which of these 2 would you say lacked respect for the viewers by being awfully done to the point of torture and which was done with care and passion? You can simply take this answer with the show itself as it's basically the same throughout. For every aspect of the show, the animation was awful, the VAs sound dead inside, just like the Anime. The story was going nowhere, the characters got nothing. The show was a torture to watch and I hope no one else gets the disrespect the show has given its viewers.
tl;dr - 3D Kanojo is a massive f* you to anyone who watches it. No one says you can't enjoy watching a show like that, but facts are facts. No care was given to the show which is very evident if you actually look yourself. A lot of people "wanted" this kind of story just like they did with Shigatsu, but getting what kind of story you want does not mean it's good. Wake up, 3D Kanojo is really, really bad.

The movie seems like more of a summary episode and I do think you should treat it as that. If you're searching for the impact & excitement you had while firstly watching the series, don't look for them here.
As I have said, this seems like a long summary episode of the first few scenes in the series but with higher quality animation. It's not a good place to start for those new to it but is at least welcome to those who have watched the 1st season at least. People who would want to try
...
the series but don't like old anime would start here I guess, but I really suggest going for Season 1 instead.
The scenes lack impact, largely so in comparison with the TV series. The music is quite a large factor regarding this; they, in my opinion, do not give the feeling of Speed which is like the main point of action in racing. The character development is clearly lacking too. It could have been better but the scenes just fly by so fast leaving us no time to be invested in one.
As a short movie, it's just okay, forgettable but otherwise an okay watch for someone who finished the TV series; which I think is a must prior to watching this. The TV series' season 1 by itself is a lot better compared to this movie and I suggest you go watch it if you are looking to start Initial D.
In short, more Eurobeat please.

*Note* This is a review summing up what reading Minamoto-kun Monogatari feels like regardless of its origins.
First of all, you'd have to read this looking for romance and borderline ecchi while being open to quite a few number of "preferences".
Reading Minamoto-kun Monogatari has been quite a blast for me, I kind of loved it really. Forr romance, I very much preferred and wanted the one girl wins over the Harem ending and I could say this manga provided me that; yet it also did not. Yes, I'm contradicting myself but hear me
...
out.
The power of Minamoto-kun Monogatari stems from it's wide and nicely developed characters. Every target actually feels like a legitimate "Omg this is it" or "True end girl", this comes from how it develops each target which were seemingly made with the goal of "Best girl" in mind.
As you think your now Waifu is entering a Happy End with the MC, turns out that she isn't best girl. (It was me, DIO!) Why you ask? Because now, the new target is actually your Real waifu and Real best girl Really. And the next, so on and so forth. This is not a bad thing, in fact, it comes from how great the characters were developed. You learn who they are and what they are, until you find yourself caring for them and loving them altogether.
For every girl, I really felt like they were all "Best girl" while I was reading their parts. Everytime, my heart would beat so fast when a crisis arises which signifies that this is the one. Next scene you'd see me heads over heels for the new one. It's just what it is, you think you liked this character so much until the Manga decides "Nope, this is your waifu now!"
Each target is their own, but just as easily as you fell in love with one, you'd find yourself loving the next one more. Or so it seems but it's just the great character development. Each girl will tug at your heart strings, leave you hanging then dangle a new target in front of you leading to more romance, love & other delusions. That is the beauty of Minamoto-kun Monogatari
Long story short: Kaoroku Fujiwara is Bestest Girl.

First of all, I only considered watching this cause I want to see something Horror in anime. This as the cause gave me low expectations about the Anime. Although I don't think I am wrong I still think it doesn't give the Horror vibe I've been searching for. But please don't misunderstand, I am not saying it is bad at all it's just that I think it goes over into the Suspense or Mystery more. In my opinion, it resembles the Final Destination movies a whole lot. Like the sudden but slow deaths in it. I mean it's like telling me, "This Character will die
...
in less than 1 minute." or something and then I'd say, "Oh, ok... so that character will die... but how, in what way will that Character Die?" That question does incite some intrigue just enough to put me on the edge of my seat. LoL.
---STORY: 8
As I said before it's like a Final Destination movie cut into episodes so there shouldn't have been much to the story. Well... It actually is more than that although still kinda basic. The story is set upon mostly how will Sakakibara, Kouichi & *company* solve a certain kind of mystery. Simply speaking, that certain How was what made me curious of watching the next upon next episode.
Opinion: Good.
---ART: 9
This kind of Animation (For Me) is definitely one of the greatest! Specifically the one P.A. Animation does. If I would rate them animation studios #1 would've definitely been P.A. and with like and in 2nd Kyoto Animation. Ok so back to the Anime review. The Art is portrayed very well in a way that it should have scared me IF* I watched it by myself at night. It gave a realistic feel whilst staying true to Anime. The Death scenes though were quite unreal like, "How did the blood spray reach that far!?" and the characters look like... say, characters in a make your own anime avatar but you can only change the hair/accessories but I guess you could say that to most anime.
Opinion: Great!
---Sound: 6
The BGM or Sound Effects were so-so. They were put at the almost perfect time to match the mood. Why a 6? That's because even though the songs did match the mood, they didn't give out the feels as opposed to some popular ones from Movies like Jaws or Scream etc. The sound effects also seem recycled, like hearing the same stabbing sound in every murder anime you would have watched. As for the OP & ED, I think the OP is good and fits the anime quite well. And as for the ED, I don't know if they tried to make something emotional like Angel Beats' ED but no, it just doesn't work out like that. All in all sound/music is good but definitely not one to remember.
Opinion: Fair.
---Character: 8 (Roundabout Spoilers)
I think the character development was pretty well done. Only part of what that could do was make you say "WTF!?" when someone dies. That feeling of getting close to someone for the first time then after some seconds he/she dies. Yes, that's how I felt but also got sad at the last episode about Akazawa Izumi. The Characters themselves aren't just like Student Council President with a crush on MC or something like that, it's something Deeper.
Opinion: Very Good.
---Enjoyment: 9
Kyaaa~! Ahhh~! Nooo~! Hiyaaa~!
Ok, well that 9 came from watching the series a 2nd time. The 1st time I watched it was at broad daylight on my SGSIII at public places. (No, it wasn't because I was scared. Really) The 2nd time was with my friends using our Projector at night. You might have guessed that they were easily scared. Well all I could say was it was a fun night, can't beat those Expressions!
Opinion: Great!!!
Overall: 8.00000008
It is, without a doubt, a Great Anime overall. What I found instead of the Horror was the joy of watching this anime. Something I'd definitely recommend to people who like Suspense/Mystery/Horror or Random, Unexplainably-Explainable Deaths.
Thanks for reading my review and another great "Thank You!" to a certain someone who got me motivated! Please say any problems you have with the Review as a comment in my profile or as a PM. Again, thanks for reading!
Cause it seemed like a certain character was cutting the review, I have rewritten the review and triple checked the contents. I don't think there is any spelling/grammar errors left and it is now officialy complete.
