This brings the conclusion to the Kengan arc and now we are going for a whoole new ride ! The Kengan Omega anime is now real ! Or at least will bee soon, hopefully.
I will be short and simple on this review and also i won't give you any spoilers.
The quality is still top notch, the manga style was adapted with the same perfection as the previous seasons/parts with the mix between 2D for flashbacks and "dreams" mixed with 3D for most of the time, pretty much everything is 3D as you should expected and be used to by this point. And that's something i
...
need to point out, the 3D never fails to please the eyes, animation is smooth and you can quite literally feel the impact of the strikes. Masterpiece.
For Brazilian/portuguese speaking fans, check my YT channel "Quirinochan" for a video review soon to be released.

NO SPOILERS AHEAD.
One Piece was a surprise for me, i always thought it was overated or pure hype, and boy i was dead wrong, the anime is great and definitely deserves to be in a list of best shounens of all time.
But with that said, the anime has a big problem with fillers and the quality of the animation overall, it is nothing that will ruin the experience but i will tell you, go for the manga to really feel the real experience of One Piece.
The characters are the best part of the anime(in my opinion) all of them are so memorable
...
and interesting, my personal favorites are... well i won't spoil you ! But i will say 3 of them are villains, another strong point of that anime are his animes, gotta love how different they are from each other and well written too.

I highly recommend that manga, every Baki fan will love this spin off ! It gives us more depth into the lore and into the family of Kozue Matsumoto and also, we get to know Momo who is Katsumi's brother. Another cool thing is that finally Itagaki confirmed how the Garouden series shares a universe with Baki, so yeah, the cameos that happened in Baki are actually canon and not just an easter egg.
The best characters are for sure Momo and Juumei Kuga, Juumei was my favorite by far as i already liked him from the Garouden manga and after seeing more of him,
...
well, he just grew more with me.
After the series ended i am hyped to see where this will go considering Baki Raihen is being released now.

Weird song, i see it was a attempt to follow the JPOP Hype train but it kinda fails, the song is not catchy in a good way but ends up being annoying and forgettable, for an example i had to listen to it twice cause i forgot to write this review before XD.
There is not really "story" or "plot" to go on, it is just a average hot anime chic with a song going along.
And when i say it does not have anything besides that i really mean it, it is just a image with a song in the back, there is a
...
"clip" but nothing happens except the same girl from the original pic in a bunch of slide shows and playing guitar in a simple animation.

As a Baki fan that was dream come true moment, i still remember the first time i watch de 2001 anime and hope for YEARS that Baki got a new one and since 2018 we are finally getting it.
The new season adapts the "Son of Ogre", so we have Prison Arc, Pickle and the Father vs Son match, i will review each one in a minute, but first let me say what improved overall:
Animation: The weird CGI is completely gone(Thankfully) and since the Raitai tournament the animation only improved, so it is a major point.
Soundtracking and Voice acting: I watched both the Japanese and
...
Portuguese dubs, both of them 10/10, the voices match up so well.
This season is a MUST watch if you enjoyed the others, you need to see this.
Now that arc review:
Prison Arc: This one is the weakest for me, i like the Guevaro character and i love Oliva BUT they are kinda weird here, Oliva does not feel like the Oliva from before and neither from the after Prison arc, it is like Oliva was another person in this arc, and it is the same as the manga, still, great fights and worth it.
Pickle: That arc is the cream of the crop, especially the Katsumi and Jack fights, i won't spoil anything, but DAMN those fights got me emotional in the manga and so did in the anime. I remember back when i was 12, Katsumi was the reason i started Karate.
Father vs Son: What every Baki fan has been waiting for, the only sad part was not showing some Doppo Flashbacks during the fight where he is explaining stuff, the Retsu boxing arc tho was fixed here, way better in the anime than in the manga.

I could go on and on here, but i will straight to the point, this is one of the BEST anime i've watched, not because it is super complex like Ergo Proxy, no because it is deep like Berserk and neither because of how revolutionary it was, but because this anime captivates you, this anime makes you feel like you are hanging out with a couple of friends, you feel connected to the story and it is so much FUN, this anime is light on you, easy going, if you want to watch something that is enjoyable and beautiful, WATCH THIS !

Hello everyone! This is the first review of this VERY underated horror anime, and sadly so, because this is a great horror show, it has a great atmosphere and that feel of danger in each episode, you connect really well with the characters. I have watched a good amount of horror anime and i can say this is a very good one, especially for its time, in the 80´s and 90´s it was really hard to stand out, because great animes of that genre were coming, and if something stood out, it is because it was good, sadly it was overshadowed by bigger releases here
...
in the overseas, so this never left japan, and that is the only "problem" i had, becuase you will have to watch the raws of it, no fansub in spanish, english or brazilian portuguese (the only languages i can fully understand, but, i also didnt find anything in italian or french, let alone german.), the raws are in the internet so you can watch it, but, have in mind that it is a raw, so you need to know one thing or two. The plot is simple and direct, but doesnt fall into the boring or dumb class, it is actually a great horror plot in a school setting, but, due to it being very focused on telling the story through the psychological horror of the chars reacting to the atmosphere, if you understand a bit of japanese you will be able to keep up just fine.
The story start with a suicide from some girl that was kinda bullied and left behind by the class president, and after the suicide the girl who is the president of the class starts to dish and say that she was useless and her death was just life, people die everyday and the school shouldn't stop because of a simple mediocre student who died, then our heroin, the main character jumps in to calm things down and put the president on her place saying we should respect the family loss and stuff about how we need to respect the dead ones, but them, the story really starts when the spirit of the girl starts to shake the vase that was put in her table as a sign of respect, the class gets scared and this is were it all begins, i wont tell anything more because it would be a spoiler, and this series is sooo good, please check it out brothers and sisters !

Hey everyone, since the last review posted was from almost 12 years ago, and the movie was released 15 years ago i felt that a new review would be cool, i won´t say much different from the later review, but, i will pull my points of view and my opinion on it :
First of all and most importantly is to reinforce some points :
1) This movie is a tribute to the japanese kaijuu movies (godzilla and etc) and also the metal heroes and tokusatsu series, so the premise and the main idea was never to change the genre or to shock, but,
...
to feel as a nostalgic piece for fans of that style.
2) The artstyle and animation was intended to look old, to feel like it is an old series from the late 70's/80's that had the time setting in the futuristic 2000's.
3) This is a short 25 minute long movie, so it would be really unfair to judge it like i would judge a big production or a long series.
Now, lets get to it, the only issue i had was the lenght, i wished so bad this was longer and had more development and time to explain the story better, aside from that, i enjoyed this movie a lot. Basically the movie plot is about an exploration on mars that resulted in the awakening of an ancient monster from mars called "Negadon", thus, the name of the movie, and it brings the question of wether the human race should or should not explore the universe and how that exploration should be done, because our world is literally a little point in the middle of an infinity universe full of older and bigger galaxies, so, should us really play the tough guys and just invade stuff ? and that is pretty much the movie, and that is were we get our main character, a old scientist with a very sad and tragic past that i will not get into, because as it is very short and we have very little story, explaining anything would really ruin your experiences, but, what i can tell you is : This old man is epic ! Take a look at this movie if you have the time, you will not be dissapointed.

Hello everyone ! well, this time is the time to review a classical yet quite obscure anime (for the right reasons), but, before starting this no spoiler review i want to clear some stuff up, first of all, it is not as bad as people say sometimes, calling it absolute trash or the worst horror anime ever, and another thing is that this is not a adaptation of the Bram Stoker novel, but actually an adaptation of the Marvel comics story of a same name that is a adaptation of the novel, so this is kinda of the adaptation of a adaptation (yeah quite
...
messy).
Now lets get into it, as i mentione this is an adaptation of an adaptation, trying to convert a book converted into a comic book into a anime is a task that well, can be called tough at the very least. In this anime you will see some points from the novel, others totally made up and some that i dont know if were originated from the comics because i didnt read it haha, and that is the problem, the anime tried to be original and to be faithful at the same time, which cause it to end up boring and rushed at the same time.
The movie tells the story of a satanic cult trying to realize and "black sabbath" or a "dark cult" in order to summon satan and present him a new bride, with Dracula being the messenger to Satan, taking the bride to him, but he ends up falling in love with her and betrays Satan and the whole cult. On the other hand we have descendents of Van Helsing and the Harker family who are there to hunt and kill the non-life king Nosferatu Dracula.
This sums up the plot and the initial story being told, but there are some plot twists and revelations that cause the movie to become boring sometimes or totally nonsense, but then when things have to be solved it gets very rushed in, which is the biggest problem from this anime.
That anime is indeed a classic of horror and a very underated one, if you are a horror anime fan, or a vampire fan or someone who really likes classical 70/80´s anime i would recommend you gave it a try, of course it is not a mandatory one as we have Golgo 13, Kick no Oni, Sagata Sanchirou and Ashita no Joe on that period, but if you already saw those and doesnt have anything better, give old Dracula a chance, also, it is a stand alone movie so if you dont like it so much, at least you wont need to see 20+ to find out what happened.
Technically speaking the art style is average most othe time, but has times of glory throught the movie and has that early 80's and late 70's style that i do enjoy, the only problem is with the sound, the soundtrack is good, but the voice action quality sometimes feel off, but as it is very old i can understand why converted versions have a worse quality sound wise. Well, in resume, give it a try guys, i believe even if you dislike it you will still have some good laughs with some crazy over the top stuff that happens there.

As no one has written a review yet, i thought i should give it a shot as it´s been a while since a last wrtoe something. Well let´s begin, this is an indie short anime film, so that would be unfair to use regular standsarts to judge this one, but even with that, we can´t really save much from it.
"Tough Guy!" Tells the story of a praying Mants (that is just called tough guy) that is passionated by martial arts adn wants to become strong, and basically every "act" or episode is based on his journey to do it, yes it is a movie
...
but it shows those act changes between the scenes, i will not spoil anything but basically every act is about a main rival for him, and it is also very comic related, so if you had any hope this was some real battle movie about a mantis please stop haha, it is really fun, especially the act about human interations.
Speaking about technically talking the movie is pretty bad, the sound quality and the image is pretty bad, but the animation is not THAT bad, its definitely low, but not shitty, the main probably is the dub, there is no sub to it, even in japanese, and you cant really forgive that because the quality is terrible, you cant hear pretty much nothing they say, you get things from watching the scene and taking the context of it and from reading the texts in between acts.
In the end, it is one of those underated and unknow anime/japanse works that are really weird but worth checking because in the end it is art and makes you see how diffferent ideias people have and create, so if you have 6 minutes to check it and wants too, i would say look for some Studio Colorido short, but if you really want, check to forum post discussion for this anime and there is a link to watch it. See you all on the next review.
