Ever since I watched Evangelion's ending movie, I haven't felt annoyed, depressed, or impressed at the same time as I finished watching or reading any story.
Some of you may know or have heard of (No longer human), the famous Japanese novel by Osamu Dazai, which is considered one of the most important stories of Japanese literature.
The novel is famous and has received many adaptations, whether it is a manga or an anime, but here I am specifically talking about Ito Junji's adaptation of the story.

Let's talk about the protagonist:
I did not understand the reason for the depression of his character, except that he is literally ... a psychopath, and I also could not sympathize with him with anything that was happening to him. I mean, imagine with me:
The hero killed his school friend because of a lie he told him.
He caused the death of his cousins ​​who loved him passionately, and one of them killed her sister when she found out that she was cheating on with him.
The leader of the revolutionary movements against the government was also betrayed.
He tried to commit suicide with one of the girls he knew, she died but he survived.
- He caused the death and suicide of his wife, and he suspected her that she was cheating on him, but he was delusional that she was cheating on him with the editor of the magazine in which he was working. In fact, what was happening was the opposite, as he himself was cheating on her with the drug seller from whom he was buying the medicine that became Addicted to it later, you think it's over? nooooo, the owner of the pharmacy, she and her father burned to death in the pharmacy.
Throughout the story, the protagonist has slept with more than five women, and this is the first time I see Junji Ito adapt a story like this, and I do not know why he turned it into a manga because the original story (as I know) is not terrifying in the first place, but he tried to add elements of horror to it through the psychological dialogue that the protagonist was saying and also in the art style of The pictures the protagonist was drawing.
I didn't hate the story because I read worse than this.

The greatness of this adaptation, in my opinion, lies in the style of Junji's drawing, which is impossible to disappoint as it was literally creative.
Junji also added something to the story, which is that he made the protagonist of the story meet the author Osamu Dazai, I might be exaggerating, but literally the dialogue that between them which took place in the last 3 chapters were phenomenal, It reminded me of the dialogues of historical figures that I read in Billy Bat and in general after all the strange revelations that I went through the ending of the manga was satisfying and well knitted.

Ken Ishikawa proved that the world of Go Nagai and its characters, any writer can write stories based on this world, which he can create independent and sequential stories like those in Marvel and DC comics.

Unfortunately, this manga was short, consisting of only ten chapters.
However, its content satisfied me with the assembling of the characters and making them interact with each other and not putting them in a crossover story just for the sake of the crossover.
There were ideas from which he could make a long epic story like with 50 chapters at least.
So with ten chapters, everything happened quickly and rushed without explanation, ... but in general I was satisfied.
Grendizer which is my least favourite Go Nagai super robot story, I loved him in this story with him coming to save the rest of the team was amazing.

Ishikawa also gave this team of heroes the name (Iron Dynamic Team) who eventually all merged into one robot and formed into a giant robot called Hyper Dynamic Saga.
And of course, since Ishikawa was the one who worked on this story, he made Ryoma the one who leads the heroes.

Overall, if you read or watched the following stories of Mazinger Z, Great Mazinger, Steel Jeeg and Getter robo saga, you will be entertained with this short crossover story.

I thought this is going to be another story inspired and copied from fist of the north star, it is. However I was surprised at the end of the manga with changes of the characters and the evolution of the characters through the story.

The art and the fighting scenes were great as usual from this mangaka and it fits the atmosphere of the story.

The manga would be prefect if there was more details about the whole event, zooming in to some characters and the hyper humans.

Overall I enjoyed this manga but I wish it was longer to make the story more interesting and detailed

I think this is Akira's masterpiece. He gave us the origin story of the greatest character in Otokojuku combined with comedy, violence and so many manly scenes and manly characters.
The structure of the story was also great, giving us some characters connected with the original series which really amazed me.
Overall I really enjoyed the journey of Edajime from his childhood until he grew up and letting us know why he build a school such as otokojuku.
I highly recommend this manga to the fans of otokojuku and especially to the fans of THE PRINCIPLE OF OTOKOJUKU EDAJIMA HIHACHI.
