The True Beauty animated series so far has been a really enjoyable watch, though it’s not without its imperfections. 😄
The show brings a fresh and colorful adaptation of the webtoon, with its mix of humor, romance, and self-discovery, making it engaging for a wide audience. Jugeyoung’s journey of balancing her inner and outer beauty, along with the love triangle involving Su-ho and Seo-jun, keeps the plot intriguing. 💄💕
That said, there are a few moments where the pacing feels a bit rushed, and some of the drama can feel over-the-top at times, especially when it comes to the love interests. But that’s part of its charm
...
too — if you’re into the dramatic highs and lows, you’ll love it. 😅
The animation quality is solid, though not groundbreaking, but it does a great job capturing the lighthearted and emotional moments from the webtoon. 🎨 The character development is consistent, with Jugeyoung’s struggles around beauty standards being especially relatable.
Overall, while True Beauty isn’t a groundbreaking series, it’s a fun, feel-good watch that keeps you invested with its lovable characters and touching moments. If you’re a fan of romantic comedies with a bit of depth, it’s definitely worth watching! 💕
