At initial glance the not a great deal of money was spent on the graphics but I figured to carry on watching for they would not have bothered animating a weak plot. From just watching the first OVA I was intrigued for the originality of Miyamura’s rebelling streak; an angle of rebelliousness and otaku – where they may take it I thought.
STORYLINE: 8.5/10
They secret relationship makes it awkward to watch but understandable to a person like me who ain’t so great with people face to face. A simple story that lets you in on both main characters thoughts in regards of their relationship/ friendship with

I felt that this anime had potential to be a truly heartwarming and life opening when they introduced the multiple family dynamics of some of the supporting characters such as Kokoro (Remarriage) and Shouta (domestic violence). However, due to the main storyline being the relationship between a 5yr old girl and (Yuzuyu) and a high schooler boy (Kippei) it felt as a mere shoujo anime without the possibility of being relatable for a mature individual watching. Initially, from the first episode I was sceptical/ nervous and watching with one eye open and mentally ready to drop if it turned into a “Usagi Drop” type of

This was the first anime I ever watched back when I was like 8 and I remember totally falling in love with Kenshin’s swordsmanship ways. Therefore now I am older, I decided to rewatch it to see whether I felt the same amasement as I once felt as a child.
STORY: The anime contains multiple acks of Kenshin (an assassin samurai highly involved in the Meiji era war). The anime follows his path to redemption after discarding the title and concept of being the ‘Man Slayer’. ART: As an adult I have come across many more anime and truly graphics have improved since back in the ... Jun 3, 2015
STORY: 8/10
Despite its predictability, its light heartedness made it enjoyable. This manga was a good read for its plot was not to in-depth that required deep thought; or did it surprise you with twists. Instead it provides a calming, cute and sweet tempered plot. CHARACTERS: 9/10 It was nice to see that neither main characters personalities were changed or dimmed down to sort each other. Instead an opposite attract approach was developed in a way that left me smiling. If only current boys were more free-spirited as Yutarou. Nov 21, 2014
First and foremost, I would like to mention that I first discovered and followed Naruto by watching the anime during my school years. It seemed so different and mature and energetic compared to the usual animes that were being televised in 2003-2004 (Pokemon, Digimon, Escalfowne, Beyblade, etc). And begun the start of my anime dvd collection.
I am not going to lie that I momentarily dropped it once before Shippuden and during Shippuden for at least 2yrs, collectively. It just lacked the necessary build up that was clearly there but not advanced upon. It became predicable with each filler – they are assigned a mission ... Feb 17, 2014

I enjoyed this very much for it steps out the typical romance/ school based animes made. Firstly, the characters defer from the usual echhi or totally in love. We see they feelings grow on a realistic paste. And even after 'i love you' is said; the cliched moments of dates or walks in school are kept out - BEAUTIFUL. Instead, each character maintains their personality which truly makes the anime more loveable and realistic.
They also concentrate on the friends' feelings which probably was necessary for if they carried on potraying the main characters, the anime would have become the cliched romance/ high school based type NICELY ... Nov 17, 2013

Unrealistic storyline. They is forgiveness to move on but then they is absurdness.
Would have been good if she actually stayed with the friend because realistically she gets the love she has been waiting for ages but then lets it go for the one that abused her due to his apparently sweet words of affection. His reasoning for being horrible is even more absurd for yes you may hate someone for ages but as humans we forget that surviving through the pain of the hate you are able to move on happily; and finding LOVE in life is a worthy remedy to destroying hatred. Despite the depressing feeling i had after watching it, i just collected them feelings as an affective job well done.
STORY: I had the gist of what it was about and did expect my emotions to flare up, however, i did not expect us to meet the father. I believe form his first introduction, i was totally drawn in. This definitely understand and feel all three characters' emotions as well as understanding the struggles and reasons of the paths they took. At many times it reminded me of Ponyo once the children tried to find their own place in life. GRAPHICS: I can not negatively comment ... Oct 29, 2013
The person that recommended this to me really sold it too much. Here i started expecting real goriness but instead i received airbrushed gory.
STORY: I liked the concept however by the 5th episode i started forcing myself to just carry on and complete it. For some reason it got more and more boresome each episode. They concentrated more on Naige and by the end he was totally annoying with his cheesiness and childish quotes (however throughout they do try to portray them as sophisticated and grown) GRAPHICS: All i can say is if you are going to do an anime about death and killings, DO ... I found Missile Happy boring and a drag to read (no offence to those that liked it). I honestly tried to give it a go but the further i read (i even skipped chapters); the less interested i got.
It might just be that it was made for teenage girls so more mature individuals such as myself would not relate to the characters as well so disabledthe enjoyment of the story itself |
