If I had to summarize my thoughts in one sentence, it would be: This anime fucking sucks, I got mild enjoyment out of it.
Ohh boyy this will be a short one, thank god.
The Good: It's a cheap revenge porn ahh isekai. The MC is logical, calculating, merciless, and extremely goal oriented. The side characters are a nice touch, nice chemistry between them, none of them are annoying retards that and make me want to castrate myself. The plot is barebones, but it works; the pacing in on point.
The Bad: The anime is so hideous, it actually made me want to skip the 'fight'
...
scenes. The monster designs might look great on a manga panel, but it looks absolutely dogshit in CGI form. The MC is absolutely OP in the worst way possible, fights are ended in a couple words, regardless of the opponent, 0 stakes. Edgy, cringey, generic dialogue, that make me question life.
This is the type of shit you watch if u have absolutely nothing else to watch and need to scratch the isekai craving itch (me). Failure Frame is bad in nearly every way, but something about it just works. Watch the first couple eps and decide for yourself.

I'll keep this one short and sweet. In the turbid pool of formulaic soulless garbage that we call the isekai genre, Isekai Shikkaku stands out as an above average, entertaining, well made isekai that has its own interesting gimmick. The protagonist, Sensei, is a powerless, grumpy, suicidal nihilist who doesn't give a single fuck most of the time and never takes part in fighting directly, this single detail on its own sets it apart from most other isekais. Despite being powerless, he does command respect and is viewed as a threat solely due to his bizarre outlook on life, concerningly low self preservation instincts, and
...
maturity shown in the most dire of situations. The show explores some pretty heavy themes, but it doesn't take itself seriously, which for better or for worse, just results in the show having its own brand of 'comedy'. The side characters are given some development, but stay one dimensional for the most part, the standard shit you have seen everywhere else. It's just a pretty solid isekai that felt like a breathe of fresh air. It deviates from the norm in a really interesting way, and I enjoyed it.
TLDR: Isekai Shikkaku is a show carried by a unique and refreshing MC, but commits the same sins many other subpar isekais do. Don't expect too much from it and I'm sure you will enjoy it for what its worth.

Imma say it, Kanseiskill is quite bad. Most people seemed to have dismissed it as a 'It was a pretty good anime, different from the usual isekai trash', but I beg to differ, while risking this being my longest and most garbage review, hear me out. The story follows a 35 years old npc who died and is now reincarnated as an aristocrat with an advanced stat viewer. The premise has promise, for the first few episodes, I went in with the 'let them cook' mentality. The MC isn't a dense, self insert, OP fucktard who goes 'Whoopsie daisy, did I do something :0?',
...
after firing a spell strong enough to wipe out a city. The MC doesn't have a harem of one dimensional girls reassuring him at every step, craving the gear stick and emphasizing how 'kind' he is every single fucking episode. The MC is not a powerhouse, and the anime is focused more on the 'world building', 'political' and 'character driven' aspect of the shows, which already makes it unique in the world of copy paste isekais, so that must mean its at least a decent anime right? No.
The GOOD: Blink and you might miss it. The MC hasn't fucked kids (yet). It's different from the usual isekai. The side characters are likable and fleshed out(for the most part), they were by far the best part of the show. I enjoyed every time they were on screen, especially Rietz. There are genuine emotional payoffs with great setup, especially the midpoint of the anime, it was tastefully done with overindulging, and ngl, it hit me in the feels. The animation is good. The pacing is good overall. The anime doesn't make you want to kill yourself(most of the time).
The BAD: Our MC is a 35 year old salary man who bit the dust because he was overworked to the point of death, he reincarnated in another world with inferior technology and knowledge, and an extremely unique skill that only he possesses. You would think that a person who lived the life he did, would bring a more jaded, realistic, and mature world view into this fantasy world. Using brain over brawn, and his ability to instantly recognize talented individuals, biding his time, slowly rising through the ranks, and making absolutely sure that he would not go down the way he did in his previous life. The potential such a premise has is immense. Nope. Blud has the mental capacity and ideologies of an actual grade schooler. He goes around frolicking through life like a six year old on a sugar rush. The entire anime pretty much goes like this: He finds a person with good stats > Uses his title as a noble, and has this conversation 'I make world better place for everyone :D. Come work for me'. 'No'. 'Please?'. 'No'. 'Pretty please?'. 'No'. > ~Insert stupid event here that makes them join. Example: Gets kidnapped and has to get saved~. > They join. Rinse and repeat. Most of the people he hires are from much lower classes and are struggling to survive because of the horribly corrupt system that the nobles control, so to have this high and mighty spoilt aristocrat brat talk about his childish ideas of world peace while they don't even know if they will survive to see another day, is almost comedic. Their intention was the MC to come across as your usual non controversial, kind, 'good guy' character, but the implementation is so badly done, he just comes across as insufferable, dumb, and ignorant. I don't think I can put into words how much I disliked the MC, he has the most generic and shallow 'kind' response to every situation, without a second of thought put into his decision; A noble was caught faking signatures to cause chaos and war between two factions, what do we do about this heinous act? "Forgive, because everyone make mistakes and work together strong :D", consequences be damned. Everyone around him warned him against hiring an extremely sketchy drunk woman, but no, because ofc, "Her stat high, and she seems like a good person". The MC is so one dimensional, predictable, naive, dumb, and so superficially 'kind', that you could bring a serial rapist who rolled a juicy 100 on the 'aspirations' stat, and he would be hired instantly, because 'his stat high and everyone deserves a second chance'. The MC does nothing relevant or memorable all season, his cool high stat pokemon, I mean subordinates do pretty much all the work, all the fighting, and steal the show, while he just exists, emoting like a kindergartener "Ohhhhh!", "So cool!", "What did I do? :(". "Wow, stats so high!", it just becomes sad at a certain point. The MC is reduced to a mere plot device to introduce more interesting side characters. Oh, I forget to mention, the MCs love interest is an 8 year old... He gets extremely flustered by her advances and says, and I quote, 'If it wasn't for my appraisal skill, I would've fallen in love with her'. Make of that what you will, mushoku fans. The reincarnation aspect doesn't play a role at all, it seems like they forgot about it after the first 20 seconds, its almost as if the only hopped on the reincarnation train due to certain *ahem* popular reincarnation anime; he doesn't bring any of his knowledge, experience, or even a tiny bit of personality to this life, for all I know, he seems slightly slower than the other kids of his age. I've seen actual children who have more grounded, nuanced views on the world than this creature . The MC is truly a piece of work, a fucking frankenstien of failed ideas, and badly executed cliches. It almost feels like they were trying to go for 'found family' type of bond between the MC and his retainers, because he believed them when no one did! But that theory goes down the shitter when you realize that Ars only approached them because of their inherent high stats, so instead of the 'found family', its more like they met Ars' stat requirement because they were born with it. The world building is painfully average, the 'politics' in this anime just feel like a 15 year olds first attempt at a wattpad historical fiction. Most of the other aspects of the show are not outright bad, but it won't be impressing you either.
But hey, if you enjoyed it, found it to be a breathe of fresh air from the usual isekai slop, I respect that. It the end, this is just my opinion and what I felt watching the show. I can see the appeal this anime has, but to me, it just ended up being the mushoku reject disappointment of the season. TLDR: I didn't like it, if you're really into isekais/more laid back animes, give it a watch and decide for yourself; else, stay away, waste of time and braincells.

I don't have a strong opinion on this one. It's a blatantly average show that will probably keep you entertained for 12 eps. It uses the standard 'dude treats traumatized girl with basic human decency until she develops feelings for him' romance formula, and it works, sometimes. It's the type of show with nothing outright bad about it, but nothing stands out either, it doesn't bother to try. The romance aspect, which is the main draw of the show, is quite underwhelming. The male lead is the usual 'OMG It's a girl! What do I do? This is soo embarrassing!' ahh character, who has a
...
higher chance of beating saitama than having a successful conversation with another human being. Sure, it does have a few surface level cute/wholesome moments, but its just awkward and stagnant for the most part, the same cliche shticks (AND shallow 'betrayals' ofc. never saw that coming 3 eps ago) and cringe inducingly awkward moments that we've seen everywhere else. If u take a look at their relationship in ep 1 vs ep 12, you realize how much time you just wasted. Oh well, the romance might be kinda mid, but what about the other aspects of the show? D o n ' t w o r r y a b o u t i t.
Nephy has pretty amazing and unique magic powers, I wonder what they will do with this. Dont worry about it.
Magic users are being massacred indiscriminately by a broken system, only the strong ones make it out alive, but not everyone want to be a cog in this broken system, I wonder what they... Dont worry about it
There was a legendary dragon who fought the first wave of demo... Don't worry about it.
Demons arent actually extinct?? They are trying to make their way into this world, the end might be near, but the corrupt factions refuse to take actio.... DONT FUCKING WORRY ABOUT IT. WATCH THE MID ROMANCE AND SHUT THE FUCK UP.
It has potential, but they take that potential, and shove it up their own ass and pretend nothing happened. It's marketed as a romance anime, but they insert so many other irrelevant, albeit interesting, plotlines only for them to go nowhere.
Overall, its a pretty mid romance fantasy anime, with some cute wholesome moments. The world building is sad, the characters are just about likeable, its pretty well produced and animated. It's a cute and wholesome watch to switch your brain off and enjoy for a few hours. If you're into romance animes, give it a watch.

So uh, I got off my 'These new generation anime fans can't even appreciate good world building, zero attention span' high horse. Now that I've seen the 6th ep, its about time I stopped the copium and accepted reality, I can't defend this anymore. This season has been an D tier yap session exposition dump for 6 eps straight, they all sit around a table and yap about the same shit, rimuru having NPC lvl conversations with his subordinates, while you try to best to convince yourself that you're watching peak isekai. Tensura just felt like tuning in for a weekly online class. I've
...
seen better written exposition and interaction in the Genshin Aranara questline FFS. You know there is something wrong when your fuckin fun time Slime isekai has worse exposition than the spice and wolf reboot. To the people who are going to say 'Tensura has always been a more of a world building/character driven shounen since S1, you just haven't seen the source material' etc, I've read the goddamn light novels, I know what they had to adapt; this season did not do it justice, and the LN does not justify this garbage ass pacing, this is just not the way to do world building bruh. There is absolutely no reason to put 6 eps of poorly directed, boring ass unfiltered exposition nukes in a row, SHOW, don't TELL. So yeah, it's either that I've finally succumbed to the attention span deleting brainrot, or this season of tensura so far has been an absolutely fucking snooze fest. (Wanted to add, ep.7 and 8 have been steps in the right direction, but still has a few inconsistencies not seen in the previous seasons)

Imma keep this one short. I wanted to like it, I really did. It's truly wasted potential.
This anime tries to hit the same as Skip to Loafer/A Sign of Affection, (both being animes I fucking love), but fails spectacularly.
The animation is uncanny and soul-less, scenes that are supposed to be wholesome just come across as weird. The chemistry is non existent, the characters are boring, their interactions are generic. My boy Hananoi-kun is fucking tap dancing on the fine line between cute/possessive and plain creepy. Bro is pretty much just Usui Takumi without the rizz. So far, the only vibes he givin is serial
...
killer vibes. Shits just bland man. This anime had the potential to be the diabetes of the season, but it just ended up being another half-assed, low budget adaptation that will be forgotten.
I just felt kinda sad watching this, its clear the anime adaptation didnt get the care and attention (and budget ofc) that it desperately needed. I can see some people enjoying it, I'm extremely biased towards romance animes, and ep 4 was a step in the right direction, but I can't, in good conscience, give this one a recommended.

Ah yes, the psychopath magic junkie shouta femboy isekai. Since only 3 eps are out, imma keep this short. Had 0 expectations, was pleasantly surprised. It's a super fun shitty isekai, with a bland as fuck premise, but great execution.
This anime isnt the standard 'dense, wimpy limp-dick blushing MC saves everyone and has a harem of stockholm syndrome slave girls guzzling on his meat by ep 3'. It focuses more on the magic aspect, and it just works. The MC is busted and the only thing he gives a shit about is magic. The magic aspects and fight scenes are fucking great, given the
...
budget. We get to see some interesting magic animation instead of the usual fucking spinny circles we've been seeing in isekais for the past decade. The comedy lands most of the time, and the chibi artstyle segments are a nice touch. There isn't much to say about other characters/world building so early on, the show is mostly MC focused.
I had a grin on my face nearly the whole time watching this one, it just hits the spot. Other than the big bois(tsukimichi, tensura etc), this looks like the only enjoyable (shitty) isekai this season. If you like OP MCs, shitty isekais, or just want an isekai thats a bit different from the usual, give the femboy isekai a shot.

We are really scraping the bottom of the barrel here, aint we? Every season we get to see the same trash, but someone it gets worse every time. I've watched over 200 isekais, this is, and I don't say this lightly, the most garbage one I've seen so far. Welcome, to AI's first attempt at creating an isekai from scratch (or thats what it feels like).
It's quite an achievement actually, this isekai manages to be absolutely dogshit in EVERY aspect. Don't get me wrong, I don't have high expectations, it doesn't take much to keep me entertained. While writing this, I actually just tried to
...
think of a single fucking redeeming quality of anime for like 5 straight minutes. N o t h i n g . The male lead is not only an extremely boring self insert, but is completely devoid of charisma, and also just dumb? (No seriously, how do you fuck up a copy paste isekai protagonist??) I'm not even going to go into the side characters, there are just there to glaze the mc and have the collective IQ of an eraser. The plot? Were you expecting one? Too bad, there isn't one. I usually don't say anything about animation quality, but, I kid you not when I say the first ever 'Anime', The Dull Sword, from 1917, had better animation. Calling the animation a Power Point Presentation would be generous. The character design is laughably uninspired, the action scenes are just, pan left, pan right, zoom out, followed by stock sound effects.
I'm not going to say the usual 'Oh well, only 3 episodes are out, it's too early to judge, it might get better'. No. If this anime was thrice as good as it is now, it would barely enter the 'so bad its good' territory. This anime has 0 potential. It is, and will continue to be, an utterly dogshit, unentertaining, insult of an anime that will be dropped by most people and forgotten. Stay away, it's a waste of time.

I don't want to leave a long review, TLDR: Absolutely unexpected banger. Great characters, great romance, nice fight scenes.
The first impression I got was tht this was going to be another one of those shitty, episodic, painful to watch so called 'romcoms' where characters factory reset every few eps without any development, where they repeat the same gags over and over for 12 eps. Ngl, the first few eps are garbage. It just felt like a shitty Love is War ripoff, with RandomXD Please Laugh humor. I wasn't really surprised, I had 0 expectations on this one, I'd never even heard of it.
NOPE. Shit pops
...
off after ep 5, doesn't fuck up after that. Its a very nice, heartfelt, enemies to lovers romance anime. The male lead isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, but is likable, straightforward, and you can't help but root for him; bro has no issues locking in when needed. The female lead was G R E A T. At first, she just seems like the copy paste annoying ass tsundere who treats the ML like shit just for the sake of it. Nope. She is a flawed character with her own issues, who is trying her best to do what she thinks is right, and she develops throughout the series. One of the best takes on the tsundere character archetype I've seen in ages. The romance is by far the best part of the show, it's not too rushed, not too stagnant, the pacing feels natural, and they share some great, well crafted moments together; which is quite an achievement to pull off in just 12 eps, even more so when there are other plotlines. There were sooo many opportunities to add in shitty misunderstandings, but they took the high road. (╥﹏╥) (Nah seriously this anime had no right to be as good as it was wtf, I need a season 2)
I usually don't talk about animation, but I have to at least mention it here. The action scenes are bangers, the animation overall is far better than Im used to seeing. Again, it aint perfect, the starting was ass, most people dropped it. The humor is pretty bad, that's not a good sign in a romcom. But for me, the humor entered the 'So bad its good' territory, so I was chillin. I'm giving this a glowing review cause I legit expected nothing, and this just subverted my expectations in the best possible way. Its such an underrated anime. If you're into romance/enemies to lovers, give it a watch.

It's a pretty decent fantasy shoujo/romance, she isnt a villainess, thats about it.
The female lead is a failed attempt at stitching together several traits, unique, strong, relatable, quirky, always correct, independent, etc etc. Perfect is an understatement when used to describe her, this just reduces the stakes and makes it somewhat boring. I usuallly hate the term 'flawed character' as its often used to describe irredeemable abominations (looking at you, akito), but there are several characters that become so much more human, interesting and relatable with a few flaws. One moment she is whoopin ass, solving problems, clearly stating her boundaries, and fortifying her
...
resolve to live this life through, to finally overcome the fate the she succumbed to in all of her 6 previous lives; and the next moment, she is blushing over Arnold Hunk's cliche lines like a middle schooler. It feels so unnatural.
(I'd like to remind you, she has lived 6 lives. She has spent several decades in close proximity to other hunks.)
Arnold hunk. Not much to say, a shallow, perfect, mysterious powerhouse of a character. It's nearly impossible to believe Mr. One bad day away from committing genocide actually loves Rishe, and doesn't view her as a source of entertainment. They do have cute moments together, but their romance feels forced and artificial, and doesn't progress much. The character development is there, but nearly non existent. The world building is very surface level, and this anime legit has the most forgettable side characters ive seen in a long time.
I'm only this critical because I had high expectations. I liked this anime despite all it's flaws, but I just can't help but be disappointed. I'll still be looking forward to season 2, if that ever happens. If you want an anime somewhat similar to this one, but much more heartfelt, with genuine flawed characters and character development, I'd recommend 'The world is still beautiful'.
Tldr: Go watch this if ur into romance/shoujo and u might like it. Somewhat likable leads, decent plot, decent enjoyment.
