They basically the same bunch of school kids fighting super natural creators and people with abilities but i would Tokyo Majin is more hardcore the deaths have more weight. You feel like the kids are in danger with Majin.

both world is control by a computer and the world isnt want it seems and the rest of the world doesnt know but Megazone 23 predates the matric by a lot of years

They are basically the same story. The girl is just like Nagatoro the difference is the guy is less of a wimp and more forward.

The two series are short series with similar run time. The pair surround characters going through a similar horror short. One the horror of living in a ninja society the other the horror of not having Winter Maxx tires. You will enjoy and laugh at each episode, because you will definitely see that a tire ad has the better quality animation. Personally, I wasn't sold on being a ninja. I can just get in my car with Winter Maxx tires and drive away from the monsters.
